Tony was known to venture past the borders of the coalition territory now and then. As long as she journied south-east it was fine, the Unity Walkers were the neighbors that way, and after an accidental run in with the pride in the days of the journey to the Achana lands they knew them to be harmless neighbors. She wasn't looking for new members, wasn't on business, she just wanted to run and see the sky and play in the grasses for a while.
She got started with a brisk trot, keeping her senses open to dangers, ever curious of her surroundings as always. Even if she wasn't out looking for one, that didn't mean she would miss out on recruiting in someone that she happened across. There was always room for more, and she was happy to find more people for her fellow coalition members to interact with.

Chui had been snoozing for a short while now, occasionally stirring awake from a strange noise here and there, or to watch his family down below on the ground. His would glance at his mate, then at his cubs, with a smile on his maw the whole time. Then he'd go back to sleep. This cycle repeated itself a number of times everyday, but today it seemed to be cut short..
Chui heard a rustling from a short distance away, and he sat up to listen more carefully. It didn't seem like the normal rustling caused by a bird or a small creature, as it was louder, and...it was getting closer. His eyes widened for a moment before he swiftly made his way down and gathered up his cubs and placed them nearby their mother.
"Quiet.." he instructed the little ones, then turned to face the rustling that had gotten much closer in that small amount of time. Katu'Chemka had just stirred awake from a particularly enjoyable nap, and immediately after waking she began grooming herself. There was almost something to clean, after all, and today it was her paws. They had somehow gotten extremely filthy while she was asleep, and so with furrowed brows she began to clean them.
The cub was sitting beside her mother, pink eyes glancing up every now and again at her brother and sisters. They were playing, and seemed to be having fun. It wasn't an activity she could take part in though, and as that thought entered her mind she glared at them.
Lucky, she thought. They could play whatever they wanted without having to worry about a birth defect...but she couldn't. With a snort she continued to groom herself, pushing the thought from her mind. She wasn't jealous, no way! They could go ahead and get as dirty as they wanted for all she cared. It wasn't her business what they did with their day. As for her, she'd work on getting clean and looking better than the rest of them.
Kat didn't even notice when he father hustled her family together, continuing to groom. The rustling, and all other activity around her, was tuned out.

Without her almost identical twin, the light cream cub showed more restraint in accompanying the other siblings in their daily activities. Burdened with the choice of lying around with Katu'Chemka or romping through the grounds, the little sister had eventually given in to temptations of rather adrenaline-induced fun, though at times, she had glanced back to see her twin cleaning herself.
Kat, why do you have to be so quiet? her mind thought as she stopped in mid-play to catch her lazing sister return from a glare towards the others. As the two were, from birth, obviously the most connected already, the pale cub had always felt that she should stick to Kat, which had basically always ensured good times. However, times like these made her wish that she was more like Kat, or that Kat was more like her...
Breaking off from the group, Bayana started a run towards Kat, but was quickly interrupted by her father's movement towards everyone, to which she froze and stared at the place he was looking to, an anxiousness rising in her stomach.

Dipti was probably the furthest away from her father in terms of appearance. In fact, she simply looked like her mother's genes had been reversed and muddled up, giving her an imperfect clone. But she was beautifully pale, like her sisters.
But Dipti could be a bit selfish at times, wanting to steal her sister Bayana away from her sister Kat. As long as she was happy, she didn't bother anyone else and was content.
However, her play session being interrupted could not be helped, and like her siblings, she was ushered away quickly to safety.
"Whats...happening?" she asked her family in hushed whispers.

Alana's tail flicked as she watched her children play. her three girls had each other and she couldn't help and let a smile cross her maw. She had the most amazing family that anyone could ask for. Chui was snoozing somewhere and Alana didn't mind in the slightest. She was happy on the ground with her cubs running around though she hadn't a clue where Chui's son had got to. She couldn't see him near by unless Chui had him with him. She assumed as much.
Then Chui spoke and her eyes shot at him. She automatically gathered her cubs together.
"Girls over here!" she whispered and then looked around for her son, she knew he would come the minute she called the girls. She tried to spoil her son as much as she could. It must be hard for him being the only boy in the litter.

Wituri had been playing mostly by himself. He loved his sisters but they were all girls and well girls and girls! He wasn't sure where his half brother was and so he had gone to chasing everything that moved. At least he did untill his father and mother spoke.
"Mum?"
He turned quickly and ran towards his mother moving as quickly as he could between her legs. The safest spot he knew. He loved to be between his mothers legs it was the safest place that one could be!

She thought she heard something a few yards out. In the "open lands" between their border and the Unity Walker's territory there were plenty of places to take shelter. The trees had made the journey a safe passage with so many little ones to protect at the time, Toh could recall. For a moment, however, she wondered if she hadn't just inadvertently stumbled across Isi's no good ex-husband, so she took extra caution. She couldn't lead him back to the coalition if that was the case, and would have to drive him off and out of the lands.
A closer inspection of the scents on the breeze told her all she needed to know, though. Just a family of leopards up ahead. Hopefully they wouldn't see her as a threat, angry parents were not the ones you wanted going after you.
The hybrid eased into view, making sure to let her approach be heard before she was seen (She didn't want to alarm them, after all.). Once she'd sighted them she did her best not to let her eyes fall on the cubs, but it was difficult. She loved children, and had yet to see any come to their lands since she and her sisters themselves were cubs. Lest she give off the wrong impression before she knew how aggressive their parents were, though, it was better safe than sorry.
"I apologize, I didn't mean to alarm anyone."
It was the best greeting she could think of at the moment, and she waited to judge their responses before speaking up about the Achana.

Pink eyes scanned the area around him and his family, and his ears twitched at a strange noise that had come from one direction. He tensed, his expression more worried than aggressive, however at the sight of the black-pelted female he relaxed a bit. At the pace she was going she probably wasn't hostile, and her apology laxed him completely, and he exhaled deeply.
The new father smiled warmly and nodded in acknowledgment of her apology, as it sounded fairly sincere, before taking a seat. "That's alright," he said, then glanced down at his cubs, then his mate. He had a reassuring look on his face. "We're always ready for unexpected visitors, anyway," he went on, eyes moving back to the black female. By the looks of it she was a hybrid of some sort, but he wouln't press her for details. He just...kind of had an eye for them now, what with his own hybrid children roaming about now. Somewhere.
"I'm Chui," he started his introduction, then glanced back at Alana, then down at the cubs. When his eyes landed on Kat, he nudged her gently. She was...busy grooming herself, and wasn't paying attention when she should have been. It was upsetting, but not a big issue. "This is my mate, Alana, and our cubs: Dipti, Wituri, Bayana, and Kat."
He looked back up at her at that point, the smile still on his maw. "And you are?"
Everything around her was still tuned out, even the appearance of a strange looking female. The sound of her father's voice, the worried atmosphere around them that was lifted as soon as Chui started talking. She felt it, but ignored it, as she was ignoring the conversation that was started by the female's apology. She glanced up just once, then immediately lost interest. Not because she noticed that she wasn't a leopard, but because she had better things to do. At least to her, so with a soft sigh she went on cleaning her paws. The dirt still hadn't gone, and she must've been cleaning for a good few minutes now. He brows furrowed a bit more in frustration, then she felt her father's nudge.
At the touch she looked up at her father, expression stoic, before taking a longer, better look at the new company. Not...very interesting, really. Her father introduced her, so she didn't need to say anything, and a quick glance at her mother and siblings told her that she could go back to doing whatever it was she'd been doing.
Before that, though, her eyes moved to her almost-twin, Bayana, slightly worried. No matter what she did she could never bring herself to not worry for her sister, as she was more...out there. But she could afford to be, unlike Kat. At the thought, the pale cub glanced at her slightly malformed leg, a disgusted expression on her face. Her tail made a soft 'thud' as it hit the ground, eyes trained on the ground between her paws. The thought was upsetting, and the reality of her slight disability was even more painful, but she would live with it. She had no choice in the matter, so she had to. And she would, no doubt about that.

Alana had sat and admired the way Chui was obviously very quickly sticking up for his family. She smiled as she made sure three of the four cubs stayed behind her well out of the way of any harm. She stood over them as much as she could on the off chance that this was some sort of ambush but she was pretty certain it wasn't.
Then the black feline appeared and Chui started talking so Alana allowed herself to relax a little though she still stayed with her cubs and didn't move.
As Chui introduced her she smiled and said a little 'hello'. She continued to watch in a protective stance. She wasn't about to risk anything, she loved her family. So even though the female seemed nice, she wouldn't risk it, not ever.
Wituri was just happy sitting under his mother protection. He curled up near his sisters and let out a large yawn. He was a lazy thing and well his mother was there, and his father so he had no reason to say or do anything. He could see Kat was just washing, she was a strange one. He loved her though, he was actually rather protective over all his sisters but right now there was just no reason to be because his parents were doing all the protectiveness stuff for him.

Toh took in the whole family again, unable to stop herself this time from glancing over the cubs, but curiosity satisfied she focusd on the task at hand, settling on her haunches. She was pleased to hear the parents on their guard, so she didn't worry any more about startling them, and though aware of the mother's wary gaze she did not seem bothered by it. She had no motives to hide, so why be concerned?
"My name is Toh Ni, I'm one of the leaders of this coalition, you've found your way into our lands. We're called the Achana, and we're a group of hybrids and full breeds, such as yourselves... Have you come looking for a place to call home?"
Regardless of it they had purposely been seeking the Achana or had accidentally found it, they were there now, and if a home was what they sought then the offer would stand for them.

Along with Dipti and Wituri, Bayana had scurried to the safety of their mother, nestling herself beside her other sister, as Kat seemed to be involved in her own world. She surveyed the scene with wide, learning eyes, and tilted her head in curiosity when a black and white female feline came out from behind some foliage. Her eyes followed the greeting between her father and the stranger well, and she even let a smile light her face when her name was mentioned. There was nothing to be afraid of after all.
At once, Bayana came out from the guard her mother had in front of her, and motioned for Wituri and Dipti to join, rather than continue to be shadowed by their mother. She pawed by Kat, and softly nudged her, smiling greater with excitement.
"Kat! Look!" she tried to whisper, but failed in midst of all her energy, "She's a leader!" Though she had no idea what a coalition was, the confidence and hospitality Toh Ni displayed was enough to stimulate Bayana.
