  I read my writings, they connect, but I look back at them and think "Goodness Gracious! This is simply AWFUL."

I'm very picky when it comes to poetry. Some poetry I have absolute no appreciation for because it just doesn't connect with me emotionally.

However, I've found two good authors/books:
Poems on various subjects, religious and moral by Phillis Wheatley
Engravings Torn from Insomnia by Olga Orozco
