The Ramones.
EVen if Aerosmith are more taented musically, they could never have the level of influence or significance that the Ramones had.
However, the Clash are better than the Ramones.

how can you compare to completely different bands? i hate comparisons because each band had their own thing that drew fans to them. i love aerosmith and the ramones equally.

This is why I find these kind of threads to be compleatly useless and stupid. First of all, Aerosmith and The Ramones are two compleatly differnt bands; The Ramones were Punk, Areosmith -rock. If you make these kinds of threads you'll only get arguments on which band is better.
I like Aerosmith better because I havn't really listened to The Ramones, and I'm not into punk.

Again, a torn choice for me. I like the old-school punk sound, but I have grown quite fond of Aerosmith. So, my choice is Aerosmith
