The grounds outside of Hogwarts Castle are where many of the recreational activities happen, as well as a few classes, too. Care of Magical Creatures is taught outside often, as many of the animals they attend to will not step foot indoors. The lake is a popular place to relax on warm days, and the Quidditch Pitch is always alive with activity once the season starts up. Near the outskirts of the grounds is the Forbidden Forest, which is off-limits to all students.
