So, at the toy library where I work, I found this thing...
The sphere you see in the picture, with four cones so arranged that three form a sort of base, another stuck on top. Originally each part was painted a different colour, but here you see it shortly after being liberally coated in brass paint.
I've been musing on what to do with it - my current plan is to weather/age the surface (i.e. old brass), and adorn it with all sorts of bits and pieces - making it a glorious gizmo indeed. Not sure what it'll _do_ mind you.
It fits very neatly into the hand, so I'm sure it'll be a hand-held item of some sort.
Thoughts?
I have various cogs and what-nots at my disposal.
