Hi everyone biggrin ,
I am a christian and I do love the bible a lot smile . I had ordered a new testament in the mail a few weeks ago and when it arrived it was called new testament the recovery version. When i saw it at first I was like eek and I started reading it and it just didnt sound right surprised did I order something else ? sweatdrop

It looks like that version is done by a bunch of unbelieving historical critics. An Historical Critic is someone who doesn't believe the stories of the Old Testament, much less the miracles of the New.
I would not pay attention to the notes on the bottom, if you are going to use that Bible. They are misleading. You can read that bible if you want, but be careful. These guys don't even try to hide their agenda.
If you can, I would go to a used book store and find a cheap King James or Revised Standard version.

I've never heard of it. eek I use New American Standard, St. Joseph edition.

Thanks guys biggrin I have a NIV version I use for a college class and so far its great 3nodding . I never heard of it either but it was the first time I saw that and read one surprised .
