Alright, if that didn't permanently kill your eyesight, here's the rules.
I; ON SPOILERS.
Obviously, this subforum was created so that those of us with theories regarding the new games that used spoilers, or just those that wanted spoilers, could have them without Kingdom going Terra on all of us. Still, though, there are some people who might want to post theories they've formed without, or with only partial spoilers. These threads should have a "NO SPOILERS" tag in the title. Please respect any of these tags that you see, or most of the Crew will come down on you.
II; Don't bash a theory.
Just because you don't like a theory doesn't mean it's wrong. If you have evidence against a theory from a credible source (see below) then by all means state it (unless it's a spoiler in a no spoilers thread). But don't just say that a theory is wrong with nothing to back it up. If you can't find anything to disprove it, it makes the theory more credible, not less.
III; Check your facts.
If you have a question about the information regarding the new games, please post it in the appropriate Sticky, not in a new thread. If the answer to your question is known, we'll tell you as fast as we can.
IV; The stickies...
Are not a place for your theories. They are an informational tool only. THE STICKIES ARE NOT SPOILER-FREE. ANYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT SPOILERS IN THE STICKIES, WILL BE FED TO THE HEARTLESS, POSTHASTE.

V; Sources.
Obviously, when you're citing a source, make sure the information is valid. The preferred source for this forum is kh-vids.net.
KINGDOM HEARTS INSIDER IS NOT A VALID SOURCE ON THIS FORUM!! Why? Because they post every single crazy rumour they get their hands on. They have been known to honestly post that a Kingdom Hearts game on the Wii is not just a possibility, but a likely one. I repeat: KINGDOM HEARTS INSIDER IS NOT A VALID SOURCE ON THIS FORUM.
VI; Theories relating to other fandoms...
Are allowed if they make sense. If you're relating the Heartless to the Noise (TheWorldEndWithYou) in a way that makes sense, by all means do it. If it's just a random crossover thing that you say because you think it's cool, it's not allowed, so please don't post it.
VII; Relationship theories.
Please, don't start a shipping war. PLEASE. I understand that for many people, coming up with ways to make a really weird ship work is fun. Heck, I'm a crackshipper myself. But please don't fight the classical hetVSslash battle in my forum. If you have good, NEW evidence for a pairing, then please post it. OTHERWISE, KEEP IT OUT!
VIII; A few terms.
A jossed theory is one that has been proven wrong by the canon. As an example, the theory that Axel is Riku's Nobody has been jossed by Nomura saying it isn't so. (See Word of God, below.)
A confirmed theory is one that we know as true. The theory that Axel survived COM is confirmed, because we see him in KH2, which takes place after COM.
An active theory is one that has been neither confirmed nor jossed. Pretty much all theories relating to what will happen in the new games are active theories.
Wild Mass Guessing is what happens when a whole bunch of people spout different theories from the same facts. Again, most of what's happening around the new games is WMG.
Word of God is when the creator of a work directly josses or confirms a theory outside of the actual canon work, like in an interview. See Jossed, above, for an example.
IX; Spoilers end...
Spoilers are free to be used across the Guild three weeks after the game is out in English by agreement of the moderators and Captain.
X; These rules are subject to change as needed.
And of course, all of the main forum rules also apply, so don't speak noobspeak!
