For a gauge of what your rates are Dawn, how much gaia gold would you charge for that beauty you just posted...I'm mesmerized by the hair. burning_eyes

The fan, the three feathers by the right eye.. and the beads *reflections* those must've been nerve racking XD -and the line-work is smooth.. I always like the line-work.. looks like it was all in one fell swoop. I like it.

Whoa... that is amazing! O_O How do you put so much detail into your works? I mean, you drew about every strand of hair, plus the designs on the dress and the fan. Did you use a pen or program for the line-work?

Um, to answer all your questions:
@ Kira: The reason I ask for people's offers first is because I feel like I would ask too much for my work. I guess I would ask around 20-25,000g for Meghans art, but if I had drawn it for you, what do you think it would be worth?
@Shadow: Since you watched me draw it, you know that the fan was a little harder than the rest, but the beads and small feathers were actually pretty simple to form and fill in with color.
@Shin: Thank you for the compliment, m'dear. *smiles* I use pen and pencil for all of my work, since I don't know how to use any art programs on the computer. sweatdrop I made the hair by following invisible guidelines. I take a long time to do what I do, but I feel that improves the overall quality of my work. I can share my process, if you're interested in hearing it.
@Arty: Unless I do an absolutely crappy job, I'd hope to make at least 10,000g for my work. Since I don't color it, I try not to charge as much as some of my fellow Gaian artists. What do you think my work is worth?
I can always post other examples, too.

Trust me Artea, it only gets better from here.
That's a fair price for the work Dawn, do you do any scenery or background, you know like the one you did for Mellissa? Or is that extra?

If you ask it, I'll include it (considering it's a reasonable request and one I'm capable of). @Artea: I'll post more of my work, but I'm pretty sure you've already seen the stuff that wasn't erased when my computer crashed. And what do you mean when you say, "I wonder if she can draw me then?" Do you mean your angelic otter form with your Gaia items on? Yes, I can do that, but I need to work a little more on the facial structure of and anthro-otter before I begin your piece. I also need to know how many fingers and toes your want on each paw, and if you want your claws visible.

I wonder if i can get a nude pic too! : wink :

I can barely get myself to draw the naked female anatomy, so a nude male would just send me overboard. sweatdrop I joke around a lot, but when it comes to my art, I'm only provocative at best.
Don't get me wrong; the nude form is a beautiful thing, I just blush and turn away too much to draw it. redface
