In the abscence of Major Hayabusa, I am currently taking over all militia operations until he is able to return and fufill his duty. But because of his present situation, that is not possible. Please read this entire first post. Any veteran militia members, please make suggesstions as to how I might be able to change any of this. People who wish to join the militia, please read the entire first page, and then PM the form to the person listed on it. Thank you and have a nice day.

This organization is basicaly here for several reasons:
-for memebers of XTI to feel that they are a part of something, no matter how small it may be.
-for members of XTI to keep order within themselves, the Security Force already deals with troublemakers, but it is for XTI Militia for us to keep people inside XTI informed of whats in all of Gaia.
-although this organization does not revolves around RPing, RPing is our way to hone the minds of the members, while still providing a group mentality.

-if you wish to comment and NOT add to the RP just put it in double brakets, like so: "((wow, that was horrible))"
-no "insta-teleporting" please, unless it includes the fact that you used a teleportaion device, please state how you got from one place to the other
-No God-modding, give the people time to respond, unless "they" are NPC's, then just make it fair.

Militia member Regulations

-try to dress decently, you ARE representing us all
-keep the discussions productive and reasonable
-when you are talking to an officer,at the start of the converation, please salute, its a sign of slight respect, and the officer(s) are obligateed to salute back

Ranks, Jobs, and Promotions

Lists of Ranks, current jobs, and how to get promotions!

Jobs

Rifleman/Sniper-basic handling of a rifle, and hi-calibur rifles/scoped guns
Sub-machine gunner-handles sub-machine guns and small ordinance
Support gunner-handles heavy guns, and stationary machine guns
Demolitions-small to large ordinance, experts on explosives
Grenader-handles specificaly small, hand-held grenades, but also experts in the feilds of small ordinance
Pre-Ops.-scouting and pre-operation tasks, knocking out defences, sentries, ect...
Special Ops.-scouting and stand-alone surgical missions, has to be recomended for the position.
Suit Operator/Pilot-Pilots ability-enhancing Militia suits, which range from different feilds of specialty, needs to be recomemded for position.
Officer-can specialize in any of the above, needs to know small hand-held guns & secondary weaponary.
Medic-supplies in-the-feild health assesments and occasionaly life-saving on-hand operations, also doubles as a doctor on base.
Technican/Mechanic-fixes and tunes up machinery and large ordinance (members are required to clean their own rifles and guns).
R&D Scientist-aids in making new technology, and helps in repairing complex systems.

Ranks

-Members-

Private (Pvt.)-staring rank for riflemen
Corporal (Cpl.)-rank after training
Sergant (Sgt.)-senior rank, can take the job of Platoon Sgt.
Master Sergant (M/Sgt.)-senior rank, can take the job of Platoon Com.
Warrant Officer Second Class (W.O.2)-senior rank, helps with running and operations of the Militia.
Warrant Officer First Class (W.O.1)-senior rank, helps with running and operations of the Militia.

-Officers-

Officer Cadet (O.C.)-basic officer, not yet trained or given a task/job.
Second Leiutenant (2 Lt.)-basic officer, helps with basic runnings and various tasks/jobs.
Lieutenant (Lt.)-can take up the job of Platooon Officer.
Captain (Capt.)-senior officer, can be second-in-command
Major (Maj.)-C.O. or second-in-command

Promotions

Promotions are based on dedication to XTI, dedication to the Militia, RPing abilities in the Events and Operations, and overall proformance & how you treat your fellow members, once an officer sees these qualities he/she will PM me for a recomended Promotion of the person in question, or I will hand out the Promotion myself.

Awards/Medals

This feild contains various awards and medals that DO exist in real life,or are derived from ones that do, and we are using their context here, in the militia, once you are awarded a medal you can put it on the end of your signature: i.e. Maj. Hayabusa (D.S.O.)

-Best Composed-
This award is given to a XTI Militia member that has been anonymously elected by officers or seniors as "well composed and well mannered", cannot be an officer.

Number awarded: none

-Best Deported-
This award is given to a XTI Militia member whom has an distinguished dress and makes a point of keeping him/herself in clean condition without interfering in other more important matters, cannot be awarded to an officer.

-Most Dedicated-
This award is given to a XTI Militia member whom has shown upmost dedication and loyalty to the Militia and XTI, cannot be awarded to an officer.

Medals

-Medal of honor- (M.O.)
Is awarded in the face of a self-sacraficial act with upmost gallantry against an enemy of XTI in which there is no doubt of the persons intent and actions.

Number awarded: none

-Distinguished Service Cross- (D.S.C.)
Is awarded when a member of the XTI militia performs an act of bravery that does not fit the criteria of the Medal of Honor.

Number awarded: none

-Distinguished Service Medal- (D.S.M.)
Is awarded in the event of an extremely meritous act in the XTI Militia, exeptional performance is not an reason for such declaration.

Number awarded: none

-Silver Star- (S.S.)
Is awarded to a member of the XTI Militia whom has comitted gallantry to a lesser degree of the Distinguished Service Cross, must be an outstandin induvidual within the ranks.

-Legion of Merit- (L.M.)
Is only awarded to oustanfing members whom have risen through the ranks to distinguishe possitions.

-Soldier's Medal- (S.M.)
Is awarded to a member of the XTI Militia whom had distinguished him/herself through heroism not regarding an enemy, personal risk must be present in the situation.

Number awarded: none

-Purple Heart- (P.H.)
The Purple Heart is awarded it a member of the Militia that has died from sustained injuries from combat against any hostile enteties of the XTI Militia.

Number awarded: none

-Defence Meritorious Service Medal- (D.M.S.M.)
Is awarded to a Militia member whom have distinguished themselves through meritorious achivement during a group or joint exercise.

Number awarded: none

-Meritorious Service Medal- (M.S.M.)
Is awarded to a Militia member whom has distinguished themselves through non-combat meritorious achivements.

Number awarded: none

-Distinguished Service Order- (D.S.O)
Is awarded to a XTI Militia member whom has:
a)served over a year for the Militia
b)participated in a Gaia-wide event which is directly linked to the welfare of XTI.
