Aranck's stripped paws were hidden almost perfectly as he walked. He was enjoying the soft wind as he walked, blowing his mane around. He wasn't to sure where Mei Xing had been, and it worried him. Worried him greatly. She was small, well last time he saw her, and he didn't like her being on her own. He was off to find her, taking a break from his new siblings and his nephew and niece. He looked around then down at the small mouse weaving between his steps. "Go over there Ares." He said in a low, tired voice as he slowly made his way the oppisite way from his mouse.

Mei padded swiftly through the grass, her paws leaving the earth at times in her haste. She had left her love some time ago to wander alone. At the time, she had felt almost..caged..She had loved Aranck more than anything, but she had been confused and restless. So without a word she had taken off on her own, she had felt the need to be alone, to explore her world before settling down, thats just the way she was. But now, she was back, and a matured grown lioness. Her instincts sharper, she had become the lioness,she felt, fitting for a prince such as Aranck. Her dark form moved swiftly in the direction of her love and her new pride. The gold flecks in her fur shimmered in light of the bright moon, her head lifted scenting the breeze.

Aranck sighed through his nose and stopped in the chest highgrass looking around. He dug his paws in the ground out of frustration. He felt like it was his fault that he had no clue where Mei was. He lost her, it was his job to kepp her safe. He shook his head the started to walk again heading toward a river to get a quick drink before wandering once more. He looked down at the water after slowl lapping it up, staring at it glaring at himself.

Mei continued her run, sniffing the air. Her heart skipped a beat when she first scented him. "Aranck..!" she breathed, emotions rising up in her throat. She reached a river and padded quickly along the banks, sniffing the air quickly and scanning the shore with her golden orbs. 'where..' she stopped dead in her tracks for a split second as she saw his familiar blue starry pelt, shimmering brighter to her than the stars themselves. She suppressed a squeal of joy and instead padded carefully to stand directly across from him on the opposite shore. Her dark blue and golden form rippled lightly in the water as Aranck drank. Her golden orbs shimmered with pleasure at seeing him once again "I'm home" She breathed smoothly, gazing at him with eyes about to tear up with joy.

Aranck sighed through his nose as he conituned to watching the water, he never noticed the smell of his mate, not really at all. His red eyes staring foreward keeping his mind busy with ideas of where to go. He wanted to find her, little did he know she was so close. He blinked a few times as he noticed something a scent so close to something he knew. He looked up as he heard a voice. He stared at her for a few seconds. "Oh... my god! Mei!" With that he was bounding foreward toward her, across the water pretty much ingoring the water and making his way over to her. "Mei!" He called out again. As soon as he was near her he nuzzled her happily, purring in content, he didn't want to go to far, not sure if she would still be there if he closed his eyes, let alone moved a few feet away from her.

Mei couldnt hold back any longer, she nuzzled her mate affectionately, taking in his scent, the feel of his fur with hers.."oh Aranck!" she said "I've missed you!!" She purred with joy as they nuzzled, ignoring the fact that they were now both covered in water. "how have you been? the pride? how is everyone? she said in a rush, wanting to know all that had happened in her absence."

Aranck purred a little more then nuzzled her happily. "I've missed you so much too!" He licked her muzzle smiling as he did. "So much. Why did you leave?" He asked a litte confused. At her questions he smiled. "Nothing much for me. My brother has two children, my little sister's are getting older... And my mom and dad had a new litter. Three girls and one new brother." He grinned looking her over. "You've gotten bigger!" He said grinning even more.

Mei frowned a little "i'm so sorry I just left like I did.." she said, her golden eyes remorseful "I just..I felt like i was being kept away from a full life..I dont know..I just wanted to go out and explore one last time before i settled down..you know?" she said with difficulty explaining. "I'm so sorry..I was still young.." She nuzzled him once again and smiled softly "and thats wonderful news" she said happily, "I cant wait to see all of them again!" she said eagerly her tail up happily. "If i'm still welcome that is.." she added timidly, her tail drooping slightly.

Aranck blinked a few times at her. He felt a little hurt about what she was saying, his ears folded down as he looked down for a moment. He looked up nodding at her feeling a litte better when she said sorry. "Don't worry Mei... I understand." He nuzzled her back lightly then nudged her as her tali drooped. "I'm pretty sure you are going to be welcomed back. My dad is very welcoming even to those who leave, he sees you as part of the family." He grinned slightly as he nuzzled her again. "I've missed you so much." He murmured quietly.

Mei nuzzled him fondly back, smiling now. She jumped on him knocking him over so that she had him pinned. She stared down at him before licking his cheek. "I promise i'll never leave you again..I really do love you Aranck" she said her blue cheeks warm as she nuzzled her pinned love. Her tail waved happily behind her. "I cant wait to go home"

Aranck smiled as she nuzzled him back, but as she tackled him down and pinned him he let out a yelp in surprise. Yes this was the Mei he remembered. He chuckled deeply, happy to have her here once more and her promise made him feel even better. He nuzzled her then smiled and nipped at her flakes. "Well just let me know when your ready. I'm pretty sure the others would be happy to see you. But I'd love to hear about what you seen out on your adventures, I've never really been to far away from home." He shrugged at the idea, he never was far from home to tell the truth, to him everything he needed was here.

Mei nuzzled her mate playfully. "well..its hard to explain! theres so much out there..good and bad" she said thinking. "I got to visit many interesting places, some were large and spacious with grassland all over..while others had large bodies of water at their center." she said smiling and gazing off for a moment. "each land had its goods and bads i suppose..i met some kind lions who helped me on my way..while other times i was chased off by lions who were not so accepting.." she said shurgging lightly and letting out a small sigh. "but I would love to go home..a soon as possible if we could? I really would love to see everyone again.." she said her golden eyes meeting his. "how are your new siblings?" she asked curiously. "I've never had any..so i wonder what its like sometimes" she said smiling a little and watching him intently.

Aranck smiled at her and nuzzled her back. He was so glad to have her back, feel her next to him. "That sounds interesting. I'm just so glad that you weren't hurt where you went." He purred slightly then nodded to her. He was about to say how they could head home now but when she asked a question he smiled. "They are addorible. They always are. Three girls one boy. Were out numbered by one now." He chuckled a bit. "But I'm always happy to have siblings around, And Bernadette and Eythel still are of a somewhat young age and love playing with the. Plus Orion has a son and daughter who love playing with them too. Its perfect.." He nuzzled her then stood up licking her nose. "Lets head home." He said softly. He looked down at his mouse at his ankles. who looked a little surprised. "Ares she's domus. We're caput capitis tergum , adveho in.**" He smiled at the mouse who squeaked and crawled up on his back. Before looking back at his mate with a smile.
