Everything had changed. No longer did he feel the pains in his chest, but he also no longer felt threatened by anything. He felt great, for someone who had risen from the dead. He sat atop a rock beside a pond and a few trees. The land seemed alien to him, yet familiar. But what he missed most was his family. He wanted to go find them, but he also wanted to leave them alone. He knew he had hurt them, and was in no rush to reopen their wounds. Sighing, he flicked his tail, looking towards the setting sun.

Alex Zander sat out by the water, listening to the sounds of the water, trying her hardest to hear it through her sobs. She felt so guilty, like it was her fault about her sister and father, they tired to love her... or did they. She didn't know what to belive, she was so confused. Her mother understood, she knew her mother waited until she wasn't there before crying when she told her.
Now she was getting away from her brother, he had such a influence on her some how. She sighed through her nose then looked around. Tears still going don't her throat. She sniffled then looked around. She wanted her mother here but she didn't want her to get sad too. She let her hair fall over her eyes as she looked down.

His ears perked as he heard a sniffling sound. Taking a small sniff, he sighed. It was one of his daughters. He would hate to see any of his children alone, but he didn't want to hurt her more. Debating, his mind settled on climbing down from the rock and padding quietly towards her. He didn't know why she was crying, and he didn't care at this point. He could see she was hurting.
Stopping next to her, he sat down and curled his tail around to his paws. Flicking an ear, he looked down at her. Would she even recognize him?
"Looks like i'll have to beat someone up for making my little girl cry..." His voice was gruff...but soft.

Alex Zander curled her tail around her. The only thing close to holding her. She sighed through her nose once more and went to look up until some one sat down next to her. Sand spiked up around her, she was slowly, kinds, starting to control that. She then blinked a few times then looked up, gawking just a bit.
A few more tears came to her eye as her lip quivered. "Gaara-Daddy?" She said quietly. She though he was dead. He was never there for her she wasn't that sure.

He smiled warmly at her. He was glad she was learning to control the sand, but he was even happier that she recognized him. Curling his tail the opposite way, around her, he sighed quietly. This was probably going to end in one of them being hurt, and he hoped it wouldn't be her. "Sorry...I've been away too long, haven't I?" he asked in almost a whisper. He was preparing himself for the onslaught of nasty things she might have to say to him, as well as any physical attacks he might receive. But at the moment he was content. "How has everyone been...?"

Alex Zander flintched at first when she felt his tail around her, but then he looked over at him and sighed, his tail was warm. She then looked up at the sky for a moment. "Yes..." She murmured, not able to look at him at the moment. "Half and Half... Mama found another one of her friends and a new friend... diffrent kind though. She's happier though, except when she thinks of Kesi or Keji... We don't know where they are." She held back another sob. Part of her was screaming to tear him apart, he was never there. Yell or do something, but she was trying not to.

So she didn't know either...? Baring a fang in frustration, he looked at the sky as well. "Aito did something to Kesi. I don't know what but if i find him i'm going to choke it out of him. As for Keiji..." He growled as he thought of the b*****d. "...i suppose your 'better' father has him..." He looked at her once again. "...Is there any way you could possibly forgive me...?"

Alex flinched once more at the name of her half brother though. "I think so.." She then snarled loudly then glared at him for a moment. "I have no better father. I barely have one at all. My mother was the only one there for me. Her, Nagu and my aunt." She looked foreward as he lip twitched, correcting him with out lashing out at him. SHe stared foreward waiting a bit with a scowl on her face as she thought. "I don't know... You'll have a lot of work to do."

"And for not being there...I apologize. I know that i have hurt you and your siblings...and your mother. However, i am not the only one at fault." He looked at her meaningfully. "As i recall, you three didn't want much to do with me. I did not want to press myself into your lives when you had made it clear you did not want me in it." He smiled as he talked, looking into the water. "...You're just like i was...I pushed my family away...Took me a helluva long time to get them back..."

Alex could feel tears weld up at her eyes as she looked down. "Mama said she wanted you around, but not there at all times! It was too much for her, and If I'm right you ran. I remember mama, not you, then you, then Kesi and Keji were gone with you then me and Nagu and Momma. And now this!" The last part she snarled as she looked down, tears now falling at her feet. Soft sobs came from her small mouth. "I-I love my family." SHe sobbed more loudly as she looked down. WHere was her mother? Where? She whimpered then looked down, she wanted her mother there. She didn't notice the sand whipping violently out of her small gourd and around her feet.

"I did what i thought would make you all happy..." His voice was once again low. "I closed my ears and shut my eyes to avoid hurting myself...and in the process i hurt you...and everyone else..." He put a paw around her and tried to pull her closer, but would let her make the choice. "I love you all too. As much as you may not believe it, i love you. I didn't want to hurt you..." He could feel his own tears start to well up, but he held them back. He couldn't be sad, not when his children felt the way they probably did.

"Y-You were never there." She cried a little more quietly. She looked down then looked at her paws the sands calming as he pulled her closer but she could feel some anger still in her. Part of her wanted to tear him apart, or teach him for not being there, but the other half just wanted to go home, and even part didn't care. But a voice made her relax even more.
"Alex? Zander Baby?"
"Mama?" Alex called back as she turned slightly looking over his tail then at her mother who was stepping through the bushes.
A frown was on Heaven's face right away. Not sure of who he was, he smelt fimmlair yet not. She growled slightly, the hair on the back of her neck standing up. "Who are you? Gaara? No.. Wait. Why are you with my daughter?!" Her voice fulled of anger.
Alex looked at her mother, not even to sure of what to awnser or if she should, she was trying to calm down some herself, her mother being there calming her down more.

"I'll be here now..." He could feel her anger and was about to take his leave when a voice made his tail fluff up quite a bit. Turning around, he put on a sheepish grin. "Long time no see, Heaven. Some reason why i shouldn't be with her?" He said softly, standing up. They both were tense, Alex and Heaven. He hoped they wold calm down a bit.

As soon as Gaara stood up Alex ran over to her mother, weaving in and out of her paws purring as she did, nipping at her mother every now and again. "Mama..." She murmured quietly.
Heaven right away looked down at her daughter then licked her forehead before turning back toward The male. She sneered at him, she still wasn't that sure who it was. She pulled her a little closer to herself. "You didn't awnser me." She said growling slightly. It was confusing her a bit was it him? She wasn't sure...

He chuckled. So she really didn't recognize him? It was to be expected, actually, since both his appearance and scent had changed. "Your guess was correct. I'm Gaara." he chuckled. He sat back down and thumped his tail on the ground. What he was waiting for, only he knew. "It's good to see you again."
