Met anybody of importance in real life?
I have met the leader singer in a band and I talked to the bassist in Eluveitie.
I also walked right by Hari from Tyr, and he looked at me. cool

I got complimented on my Sleep shirt by Jimmy Bower. And at DoD, all the other bands were in the crowd right along side everyone else.

Worriors thread about Kerry King had a similar discussion of this....so I'll quote myself. Digital Malevolence I met Unexpect for about a half hour after on of their shows. Warbringer was at the IHOP I went to after their show and we talked for a bit. That shitty vocalist from that shitty band Atreyu sat at my table and my pizza with me a few years ago after a show. After Eluveitie played I talked to one of the guys...the one who looks similar to that other guy....I only spoke to him shortly, it was too hard to understand him. I hung around that shitty band Underoath's hotel room with them for about an hour. Hmm...I think thats it, but I think I'm forgetting stuff... EDIT: after reading what Warrior wrote I remebered. I got something signed from Dope, Troll, and Ill Nino after a show. I met Stitch from mushroomhead before their show. I've talked and hung around a good 50+ local and non famous bands from MA all the way to New Jersey. thats pretty much all my stories of meeting people concert wise....most if it happened before I was really into metal as you can tell..

If governor counts, then I guess mayor of the city and the director of a national agency also counts.
Oh, and I played basketball against a professional player from the Polish female league. Several times wink .

My Hollow I neglected to say Metal only. LOL, ok then. I drank beer with the band Kat AND received a band t-shirt from them AND was driven in the guitarist's Firebird to the train station. That counts I guess wink . Oh btw, does being highfived by a band member during show count too? If yes - I was highfived by Litza, then Acid Drinkers member.
