However, this village is one of the oldest in the Hantou region, and its population is as well. Even though their gym leader is young, the rest of Twilight Ridge Village seems to be at least 50 years old. They stick true to traditions, and don't take kindly to youngsters charging through and disturbing the peace. Still, there are a few of them who miss the good old days, and are eager to battle with their old Pokemon. The village itself is often in shadow from the peak of Mount Victory, which it is nearly at the foot of. However, Twilight Ridge Village is on the steepest side of the mountain, and trying to climb the mountain from the village would be suicidal.
