Riley wasn't sure how to approach this. All he had done was gone to pick up Emmet from D-Corp after that little scare with the stomach virus...he hadn't expected to come back with something other than a frightened, white scaled toddler. But no, he ended up with a little girl that was apparently joined with Black Panther DNA and had an egg of a Golden Dragon in an extremely warm incubator back at the lab. When he first saw the girl she was swinging from one of the light fixtures purely because she was bored.
He didn't see this going very well.
But now that they were on their way home, the girl he was told was named Stella was quiet, leaning her elbow on the armrest of the door and her chin in her hand. She was staring out the window, her ears dropped in an almost depressed fashion. Riley couldn't blame her; her original Guardian had decided to go travel the world and left Stella behind due to D-Corp regulations. Which must have been tough on the girl, having her parent leave.
But he was sure she would be back to the fixture-swinging monkey-panther once they were out of the car and in the house. He was warned that she was a little...energetic.
Riley pulled into the driveway, helping Emmet out of the car before grabbing Stella's bags from the trunk, heading towards the front door of the house he and Rysha now owned.
"We're home." Riley said awkwardly, not used to living with other people. He looked around for Rysha and once he found her, he cleared his throat a bit. Emmet was quick to slither off to find Tryst, and Stella was standing behind Riley, momentarily awkward with her surroundings. "Uhm Rysha...I need to talk to you." He said, uncomfortable with sharing a house with someone.

While Tryst was upstairs with her coloring book, messily filling in letters from the D-Corp kindergarten teacher and about to be eagerly greeted by her brother, Rysha was in the kitchen setting it up.
They hadn't been in the house particularly long; with both of the twins at D-Corp due to the sickness, Riley had finally gotten around to purchasing a small house for the would-be-family. And so, Rysha was in the kitchen, putting away plates she had bought earlier while a pot of water sat boiling on the stove, a small cloud of steam rising up.
She looked up as she heard the front door open, grinning as Emmey zoomed by the door and clambered awkwardly up the stairs to find Tryst. When Riley stood in the doorway of the kitchen, though, with a face that was a mixture of awkwardness at being around her as well as some hint of...Nervousness? She frowned, not quite understanding though for some reason she felt a little dread at his words.
"Erhm, sure. What about? Emmet's all healthy again, right?"

Emmet found his sister upstairs, and instantly slithered at full speed into her for a big hug. "Miiiiist" He whimpered, nuzzling his face into her shoulder. "I missed you!" Emmet cried out, on the verge of tears. He was so scared in that strange room with all those strangers!
"Emmet's okay, I think he just went upstairs to attach his sister with hugs." Riley shrugged a bit, scratching his neck with his free hand. "But...thats not that I had to talk about. I...well..." He paused and moved his one hand from behind his back; the hand that had a little spotted black hand attached to it...and of course attached to that was Stella, twirling a piece of her short hair with a finger from her free hand and dressed in a bright orange t-shirt, a yellow jacket and a black skirt with two yellow stripes at the bottom. "Her name is Stella. D-Corp tagged her on me as I was leaving with Emmet." The military man let go of the little Panthers hand, and Stella stepped forward again.
"Hullo." She said, her golden eyes focusing on the brown haired woman. The poor panther was still in a minute shock over being relocated to different parents...but she was starting to come back to herself. Her pupils shrank in mischevious curiousity and her gaze broke from the woman, looking around the room, her tail swinging lazily back and forth. "Whattcha cookin?"

Tryst looked up as she heard Emmet crying, launching onto her where she lay on the floor. They tumbled a few feet, rolling around and their tails tangling while a big, happy smile came to the little girl's face, and she slithered into Emmet's arms, her head against his neck as she hugged him.
"Emmy! I missed you too, they wouldn't let me see you, cus I got real sick an' had to be put in this room an' hooked up to these tubes an' stuff-" She started talking in a streamline, sitting on Emmet with a face full of eagerness at seeing her brother again.
Rysha was about to make a relieved comment, when she saw the little black paw, hand, and then the girl slip out from behind Riley's mass. She was a cute girl, that was for certain, but...Wait, tagged on him? Another kid? Granted, this one wasn't technically hers this time, but still. Another kid in the house? Oy vey...
She rubbed a hand on the back of her neck, pulling her hair over her shoulder. "Erhm, spaghetti." Rysha said distracetdly, just as a burbling sound started hissing in the room.
The water had started bubbling over the edge of the pot, resulting in the stove hissing loudly and steaming water dribbling onto the floor, splashing the dancer's toes and making her hop backwards with a muffled curse.
"Well, it was gonna be spaghetti."

Emmet clung onto his sister, wrapping his tail around her as if very much intent on not losing her again. "Hooked up to tubes?!" Emmet squeaked out, his grip on her not waivering. "I din' know that! I thought you were jus' in another room an-" He paused to whine, shuddering a bit. "But Mist is okay?" The little snakeling asked, tilting his head. She seemed okay to him; definitely energetic.
"Spaghetti?" Stella parrotted, her ears perking at the sound of the water bubbling over, followed by the muffled curse and the little hop the woman was doing. "Spaghetti making is dangerous." The little panther concluded, shuffling over to the woman. "Why can't you make it anymore?" The woman HAD said "gonna", and it was only water after all. Gracefully, Stella lept onto the counter on her hands and knees and leaned over to get a look at the bubbling pot to see if something was stopping the woman from finishing the spaghetti; was it a monster? Or maybe all the water had come out! Perhaps the pot exploded?
Wait, the pot didn't explode, she could still see it! There was no monster either. Hm. What a headscratcher! Stella made a face at the bubbling water.
"Stella, wait!" Riley called out when the girl went to jump on the counter; a comment which was severely ignored. "Are you alright, Rysha?" His attention focused on the woman then, suddenly concerned. A technician had told him their luck was going to take a turn for the worse, but Riley wasn't one to believe in such silly matters; the bubbling pot was just a coincidence, and it was nothing he should warn Rysha about.

"Uh-huh, they put this mask thing on my face and then I got real sleepy and I couldn't open my eyes. Next I woke up to the carrot doctor sayin' I could go home now." She said, shuddering as she remembered being helped up and out of the bed, and into a wheelchair.
Tryst smiled at him, though, flicking the end of her tail back and forth. "Yuh-huh, I'm all good now! Is Emmy okay?"
Rysha made a soft scoffing sound, standing on one foot and shaking the other, small droplets of warm water flicking off. "Well, I can still cook it. I just don't like doing things multiple times unless it's practicing something..." She said, making a face at the pot before realizing the girl was squatting on the counter.
"Hey, HEY, get'cher feet off the counter!" Rysha scolded, making a shooing motion with her hands towards the cat girl. She paused a moment to pull a towel from a drawer, wiping up the water from the front of the stove.
"Yeah, I'm fine Riley. Just a little hot water, s'alright." She said with a grin, looking up at him from her crouched position in front of the stove.

"C-Carrot Doctor?" He asked with a hiccup, clinging tightly to his twin. "S'good Mist is all better!" Emmet said energetically, nodding enthusiatically. "I'm okay, It was scary in that room..." The boy pouted, his tongue flickering out from between his lips. "Oh, we gotsa new sister..." He informed his pale twin in an unsure voice; she was energetic at D-Corp but quiet on the ride home, he wasn't sure what to think of her. "Downstairs." He said disjointedly.
Stells gave the female a strange look when she was told to get her feet off the counter. "Okay Laydee~" She said then, deciding it would be fun. Their ideas of getting feet off of the counter were very different, and that was proven when the Panther put her weight onto her hands, lifting her legs into the air in one swift movement until she was practically doing a handstand on the counter, her skirt very much dangling. But she kept looking at the boiling water, though now it was more out of a need to focus on something than it was to look at the boiling water.
"Thats good, I di---STELLA!" He growled at the girl who was doing a handstand on their counter. "Rysha meant GET OFF of the counter!" He clarified to the blankly staring panther child. Rysha was between him and Stella, and he didn't exactly want to bowl the woman over to get to the hellcat.

If Tryst had had ears, they would have perked up. New sister? What? She'd been too excited to be home to notice anyone new in the house, though now that she thought about it something smelled different. "Really? What's her name, is she like us, how old is she?" Tryst fired off questions, apparently eager to learn about the new family member.
Rysha couldn't help it. She laughed. Either the girl had a sense of humor, or she simply took Rysha's words literally. She couldn't quite tell which yet. "Stella, have you ever done anything sports related? Like gymnastics, or dancing?" She asked curiously, ignoring Riley behind her while the cat-girl did her handstand of sorts on the counter. She had good balance, but seeing as she was part cat, that made a little sense.

"...Uh..." Emmet said, scratching at his neck. He wasn't sure how to answer that question. "S-stella. Her n-name is Stella." The little snakeling offered, looking away from Tryst and trying to avoid the latter question for as long as he could. "Sh-She's scary." Was his eventual answer, scratching at the little scales on his upper arm now.
"I like acrobattings." Stella said happily, but not entirely answering the question. "Look what I can do!" The panther, apparently glad that she had an interested observer, vaulted backwards off of the counter and landed softly on her feet on the tiled floor, her arms spread for balance. "I'm going to have a gold dragon." She told Rysha, looking rather proud. "S'just an egg now but it'll be a good dragon that the knights don't kill!" Her golden gaze then shifted, focusing on the sliding glass door that lead to the backyard, her ears perking. She could see a chipmunk.

Tryst tilted her head to the side, a curious look on her face, as Emmet described their new "sister." "Scary? Is she mean then?" She asked, not wanting a mean sibling to move in. If the new girl was mean, though, then at least Emmet still had her; she would protect him!
Rysha watched the young girl in interest, her eyebrows raising while she spoke of her dragon, then drawing together when she mentioned knights and killing. "Uhm, pardon me? Knights? Killing? What?" She asked, a worried look on her face. The doctors hadn't exactly said much to them, but, uh, killing? The dragons? Didn't that defeat the purpose, or maybe hurt the kids?

"Well, not really, no, but..." Emmet trailed off, his eyebrows knit together like he was having a hard time explaining it. "She's just scary." He uncurled himself from his twin and held out his hand to her. "Wanna meet her?" The...experience of meeting Stella was already his, but he'd feel a bit better if he was with Tryst when she met their new sibling.
"Nononono" Stella tsked, her feet a shoulder's width apart and her torso slightly bent, wagging her finger at her new house-mom. "In stories! Knights kill the bad dragons but MY Dragon is the kind the knights don't kill!" While grinning like the Cheshire cat, Stella looked around the kitchen. "DD and White coat said I couldn't eat the egg 'cause it'd grow up and be my pet and bigger than me and its GOLD." She put a particular emphasis on the colour; she loved gold, it was nice and bright. "DD said I need to name it and that I should think of a good name, but I can't think of any. But its going to be my sidekick forever!" Musing happily, the girl wandered away from the pair to instead rummage through the cupboards she could find.
"They get Dragons." Riley lightly groaned out, having stepped closer to Rysha as Stella went off on her rant. "Every D-corp child gets a Dragon." Great, just great. Stella would get a golden Dragon, Tryst and Emmet would both get Dragons...and this house wasn't built for large reptiles.
"This kitchen is boring." She pouted, closing the cupboard to instead eye any light fixtures or other places she could practice acrobatics on.
