*The door to the facility shut closed behind then, MK and Scarlette now standing in the entrance to Terra Base. The skeleton crew had done some repairs in the last few months, and things were looking far better*

... I will have to check it out myself. But first, there are a few other things I must do. I must go and bring Nalini and Zaryn to the facility. The receptionist will show you to a lab and room for now, and you can get started with a number of things lying around. I will return a bit later with further instructions on what I hope to accomplish here.

*The commander entered into the base and gave a nod to the receptionist as he passed onward into the inner sanctum of Omega Base, heading down to the previously sealed off Bravo level*

Scarlette had grown accustomed to her new lab by now, everything was set up, she had even decorated. She gave a little sigh; inspiration wasn't hitting her like it should have. Deep in thought, the werewolf decided on taking another look at the technology of the portal.

Terra -> A12 Scarlette came back, and gave MK a small nod and wave in greeting as she headed back to her lab. She was there for a long while, just working, but she was beginning to grow lonely. It had been too long without human contact, and she couldn't stand it any more. With a hefty sigh, she left her lab.

She found herself shivering. Her feet were freezing, too. She didn't know what to say, certainly feeling severely out of place and all too miffed that she wasn't curled up in bed dreaming about doughnuts and fruity-o's. The girl shifted uncomfortably, then walked a short ways in, looking around. She couldn't help but marvel at the strange design of the place.
