RP START

It is, in many places, customary for the host of a party to greet her guests as they arrived. The people who have those customs most likely are not holding public parties that span a very large estate, and first and foremost, those people are not Charlene Phillip Dartsmoore. The woman in question was not at all interested in being festive and was much more content to lay on a few very large pumpkins, drink in hand, and just watch the people wandering by.

It was strange, but for once she didn’t look like a middle aged drunk. Her hair wasn’t in its usual pompadour – instead neatly pulled back into a high ponytail atop her head and silvery instead of its usual weird blue color that it gained from the gel. She wore a strange costume – which did suit the situation, if one thought about it. A deep green bodice with a strange, raised collar that served for the effect. It looked like a gown – and actually was – save for the fact that it was fully open on the front of the skirt. While it was fashionable to just wear leggings with that sort of dress, Dartie chose to wear buckled and belted combat boots and leather pants. And she wasn’t holding a full BOTTLE of liquor either – probably the strangest bit of it all. In the woman’s hand was a crystal glass of some amber drink and she was sipping at it. Though, the glass didn’t seem to be EMPTYING, but still it served the effect. All that, mixed with her rather calm expression and the way she regally draped herself upon the five huge pumpkins like it was a throne gave the woman a much…younger and more regal effect.

But who gives a damn about what Dartie looked like? She was just sitting there. It was her sons – Bailey and Absinthe – that were really worth any notice.

The monkly toddler had been dressed up in a neat little silken outfit and looked quite like a little Asian prince upon a cushion. And that was actually where he sat. Bailey had set Sinny up on a cushion next to the face painting table so that he could keep an eye on his brother, seeing as the little one wanted to see and socialize with the people and his mother didn’t. And being a very well behaved – and lazy – little monk baby, Absinthe stayed where he was put.

Bailey Bacardi had already set up the paints and such at the table where he was expecting Franny to join him when she arrived. The snake boy had worked with his natural looks to design his costume. Wearing a black robe and hood, he’d taken the liberty of using his bizarre complexion to his advantage, applying a bit of black paint and a set of yellow contacts to make him look the part properly. He had decided that rather than put on a bald cap with horns, he’d just keep the hood up or say he’d shaved off the horns and put in weave. Creativity was key, after all. And anyway, he was doing face painting so doing his own face was great practice.

The last two notable people in the main area were Kahlua Dartsmoore and Feejhu. The ice god was mostly wandering shyly about, trying not to be noticed too much. He’d altered his look only slightly – wearing a puffy shirt and vest with tight pants, big boots (he’d gotten those from Uncle Charlie), a bandana and an eyepatch. Feejhu, on the other hand, had decided to dress much more sexily, despite the fact that she was pregnant. For a pregnant, green, six armed goddess, she actually pulled off the French Maid costume rather well. Particularly since she was sitting a lot and the table obscured her lower half – the girl was running registrations for things and making sure people got directions to the events.

(that's what I could think of XD)

Archie Saturn, Francine Campinski and Pandanokirin had been getting strange looks all morning. Considering how close it was to Halloween, it was conceivable that they would have been ignored since it was clear they were simply wearing costumes, but it wasn't really the costumes that people were staring at. It was the fact that all three costumes were the same that had thrown people off. One didn't often see a grown man, a preteen girl and a baby simultaneously dressed as fuzzy pandas.

Upon arrival, Franny hurried past the raffle ticket table and... was that a pinata?... and made a beeline for the face painting booth and Bailey. "Hi!" she chirped, looking from her bright red friend to the kid on the cushion. "I love your costumes!" She cupped a panda-glove-covered hand over her mouth and stage-whispered, "Who's he?" at the other former criminal.

Archie hung back, Panda in his arms, the baby munching on one of his weird, disembodied hands. "Franny says hi," Archie said, looking at Dartie with a slightly confused expression on his painted face. "You look... nice."

(( Deeg's face stolen by me! *noms it* heart ))

[Dg]
Bailey smiled pleasantly. "That's my little brother, Absinthe. Sinny's a sweetie, he won't bug you."

Dartsmoore glanced up at Archie and nodded. "Thanks. I'd say the same for you but I don't know if panda qualifies under the heading of nice in this sense."

Smerdle
"Oh no, I didn't think he would!" Franny said, giving the toddler more of her attention now that she knew he was Bailey's brother. "Hi, Sinny!" The girl seemed neverendingly perky and accommodating, but she had a tendency to get overwhelmed with little to no notice. Probably better to make the acquaintance of as many people as possible before the party got too crowded. She flopped down in a folding chair and took off her furry gloves. Her attention was caught by the nearby building. "Is that a castle?"

"Hmm," Archie agreed. "I guess pandas don't wear gowns and things, but they're endangered? Maybe? I'm not sure. We can raise awareness and stuff." He sounded less than convinced that the way he was dressed was going to change the world. "I just wanted to dress like a panda," he said with a grin. Panda grinned too, even though he didn't have a clue what was going on. "What's there to do here?" Archie asked.

[Dg]
Sinny gurgled and waved at the girl before settling back on his cushion. Lazy monk baby is lazy.

"Um.........I do not see the point of dressing like a panda to raise awareness of it being endangered but anyway." the woman commented dryly, rolling her eyes and taking another sip of her drink. "There's dancing in the temple over there - and probably food. You can wander about the haunted castle if you want - I think that's mostly open. I know nothing of whether the Pinata game or Bobbing for Stuff is open yet, so you'll have to wait on that. And you can sign up for a few things towards the front with the pregnant maid."

Smerdle
Franny stood up again as she turned from the castle to the lake. "And a lake! This place is really cool!"

Archie's smile faded and he sighed, "I guess." Even when she was dressed up pretty, Dartie was still the weird lady who hung out in bars in the middle of the day and told him stories about tail amputation and punched him in the face and hated panda conservation. "Welp, pregnant maid sounds good," he said, hoisting his baby god higher on his hip and heading in that direction.

Tara_Nepion
Alice in Wonderland trailed dismally behind a beautiful blond fairy princess, complete with dragon, and one Tara ****** (who didn't bother dressing up yet again). Though the family hadn't been much in contact with the rest of the gods/goddesses and so on for a while, Tara had deemed it a decently chaperoned event (better than D-corp anyway) when the invitation and request for workers came through.

Nervously, Korin smoothed his frilly blue dress out and adjusted the wig. He hadn't seen his classmates in forever, dealing with one thing after another. When the request came in, Korin hadn't particularly wanted to go, or help out but his mother had agreed... So here he was.

The family wandered around a bit, Aysel pouting at the fact that she couldn't go running off until Korin had found where he was supposed to go. Korin just kept dragging his steps more and more, the last part of the initial excitement turning into dismay.

[Dg]
Feejhu, in her frilly little gown was seated pleasantly at the front tables. She was both on the duty of registering people and such, and directing them. Kahlua was sitting quiety beside her, feeling that the life goddess wouldn't mind his presence and the two were just waiting for someone to come talk to them.

About that time, Feejhu noticed someone who quite highly resembled one of her old classmates from those temporary classes on the Samadueanna. Curiously she called out "Korin?" towards the child dressed as Alice in Wonderland. She remembered a boy, but then, anyone who had seen her before would remember a long haired, shy little girl and not an older, pregnant, six armed french maid.

Tara_Nepion
Korin glanced up as his name was called, glancing around. A green haired teen in very *short* maid's outfit that no real maid would be caught dead in. Of course his frilly blue dress wasn't exactly all that typical either.. Narrowing his eyes, Korin tried to think. It sorta looked like Feejhu.. but the last time he knew she didn't have six arms.. At the very least she looked sorta official and she did call his name.

"Mom," he tugged at the older woman's arm. "I think we're supposed to go over there," he said gesturing towards the green girl.

Tara glanced down at her son and smiled, giving him a push ahead of her. "Allright. Let's go then. Aysel, Apala...Don't wander off to far," the woman warned her kids. As much as she trusted the crew on putting this together.. well... Take a look at what happened at D-corp the last few times more than a class full of kids gathered in one place.

So the group made it's way towards the registration table, Tara nearly pushing Korin the whole way there. His steps grew more and more reluctant and the boy was beginning to wonder if he could make an illussion of himself, and then make himself look like the surroundings and get out of the whole thing when the table was suddenly right there in front of him.

"Er.... Hi......" He muttered.

[Dg]
"Wow! You've grown since the last time I saw you! I'm Feejhu, from your class!" the girl spoke cheerfully and in a friendly manner.

"Last time we saw each other, we were the same size as Kahlua here." the woman said, indicating the child sitting next to her, who shyly waved.

Lu instantly decided he liked this blue boy - he seemed shy, wasn't scared to dress girly, and didn't talk too much. Plus, he was pretty and that's always a plus.

Feejhu glanced at her register and smiled up at Korin again. "You're signed up to be on duty in the Haunted Castle, aren't you?"

Tara_Nepion
"Y-you too....." Korin replied shakily. It was her! ...Growing those arms must have been painful...Shaking his head to clear the odd thought out he smiled tenatively at Feejhu and the kid next to her.

"Um.. uh... yeah... Mom signed me up for it...." Korin managed to get out, glancing backwards at his mom. "But... " Korin trailed off, not sure how to put into words what exactly he was trying to say.

[Dg]
"Don't know what to do?" she offered helpfully. "Just head over to the castle. Shane - the nice little boy in there - will direct you to what room you should be working when you get there. He'll also give you a lowdown of your job."

CrimsonCutie666
Humming cheerfully Glitera gazed around the place. She loved Halloween! She could flaunt her fairy wings with ease and no one would stare. She wore a very witchy costume. A short black dress with corset top clung to her body dusted with silver sparkles. Large see-through white wings stuck from her back matching her long curled white hair that hung down to her waist. A crooked witches hat topped her head looking as if it would fall off any moment. A white broom with black spider web pattern was clutched in her hand and short black heels were strapped to her feet. To finish off her costume was a silver chain which hung a shining white light that glowed non stop. Very little make-up covered her face but black eye-liner framed her dark blue and silver eyes.

Noticing a small group of people she walked over to them. Recognizing the green skinned girl by her description Glitera smiled brightly and stood in front of her. "Hey Feejhu! I'm Glitera. I'm here to start up the pinata and all that jazz. I was told to come see you about where it's stationed." Leaning on the broom she turned to the boy in the pretty dress. "Wow great costume I love how you pulled it off! You look lovely! Absolutely gorgeous dear!"

Orpheus Solon
There was a trio that appeared for the gathering all from the same household, that of the man Shin Freed. The first of them and the one who seemed to be the self proclaimed leader of the group was the Monster God Vishal who looked as though he didn't really but much time or effort into his costume. He blamed it on the fact that he didn't exactly have the build to do many normal costumes. He was wearing a pair of dark slacks, boots, and a white mask over his eyes and that was about it. He didn't think he needed much more then the mask after all to be his costume.

Next to him was his sister who for once was dressed up the part of a girl instead of looking the part of just 'another of the guys' which was the look that she normally went for. She was done up as a pirate, she told Vishal that she picked the costume up so that she could use it as an excuse to chase after her favorite 'booty' while at the festival... to which Vishal could only roll his eyes. The moment they appeared her eyes were already darting back and forth in search of her favorite person.

While he was trying not to look as eager Vishal was basically doing the same thing, searching the faces of those who were already for the one that he wanted to see.

Behind the pair of older Gods was a small, snake like child who followed behind Vishal in a very loyal manner, acting more the part of a minion to the Monster God instead of acting like a God himself. That was how he'd been raised as since when he was first found they had no idea what he was so Vishal took him in. They dubbed him a naga and he was trained with Vishal's other minions so even knowing what he really was Panhsj still felt content in following the Monster God.

Panhsj was the only one that came today because of the festival itself. He was curious about all of it, about all of what was going on and wanted to get a look at everything. It was to bad that Master Vishal and Krishna seemed to have little interest... He lifted a hand up to fiddle with his hair which was tied back today and hanging over a shoulder. He was done up in an Egyption manner, complete with the snake jewelry, eye make up, and his hair dyed temporarily black for the occasion.

He was taking in things currently that were missed by the Master and Krishna, eyes wide in awe.

quietsnooze
It had been virtually impossible to contain little Elly's excitement for this very occasion.

Through the laborious process of dressing the little ex-criminal for the occasion, both Alaina and Garrett were rendered frazzled before the party has begun, nevermind getting dressed in their costumes. Thankfully for them, they both chose relatively simple costumes for themselves; Garrett wears a leather harness loosely around his midsection, a pair of jeans, and a light washable spray of white on his wings, masquerading as Angel from the X-Men movies; Alaina, however, is decked in pinstripe in simple yet classy mafia princess attire.

But the belle of the ball, the girl with boundless energy and now a costume to aid this, is a little western diva, her hair pulled back into her signature pigtails [bound to loosen by the end of the night] and wearing a dangerous amount of white and light pink. Her smile is almost brighter and more blinding than her chipper costume. [For the sheer visual, click, XD.]

"And, and Bailey's goan be there?" the cowgirl confirms for the fifth time that day, giving her brother's hand a delighted squeeze when he nods and sighs with a tired roll of his eyes. He and their mother can only hope that Elly can exhaust her reserve of energy and sleep very, very well tonight.

For no apparent reason, other than that if she contained it any longer, she'd probably combust, Elly lets out a squeal and quickens her pace. Garrett's arm is almost yanked from his shoulder, and he doesn't know what dazes him more; the speed his sister is now pulling him at, or the fact that she's apparently gotten strong enough to yank him that hard, ignoring that he wasn't expecting it to brace himself. He complies and quickens to match her speed, if only to get to the party and get rid of her faster.

Alaina walks at her own leisurely pace behind her charges, her arms stretched up and meeting at the base of her neck. What a freaking grand place this chick has! Who'd have thought? she muses admiringly.

[Yayyyyy feel free to ignore me if I'm too slow to respond]

[Dg]
Feejhu smiled at Glitera, and nodded her head. "It is wonderful to finally meet you. The Pinata area is that little arena over that way." as she spoke, one of her many arms pointed to the large squared off area. It had a chest that contained tons of pinatas for the event and a set up pulley thing so that the kids could hit the paper-mache creations. There was also a stick leaning up against one wall of the small 'arena'. It was set up so that the proprietor of it - in this case, Glitera - could rig up the pinatas and be sure that one kid was in to try at hitting at a time.

After she'd finished her directing duties, the girl managed to turn and spot just the person she'd wanted to see. Standing up and waving one or two of her long green arms, the maid-garbed goddess attempted to attract the attention of her lover, and her lover's siblings.

Kahlua, at this point, was noticing the cat girl that Feejhu was waving too and felt very sad that he wasn't the only pirate this evening. Bailey had been smart to dress as something from a movie - there weren't likely to be many of that character, that was for sure.

Bailey grinned at Franny. "Yeah, this place is pretty cool." he told her before turning and noticing Elegy.

"ELLY!" the red boy called out, his voice almost sounding deep and strong over the crowd, as he spotted the child. He hoped to attract her attention and get his favorite bow-wearer over to say hi.

Riulve
((Riulve's costume: Lookit the avatar. biggrin | Mana's Costume: clixthislink. Mama and her part-time 'assistant' will be coming soon...))

Riulve had volunteered out of sheer insanity mixed with boredom. She had no job and so she had no real reason to turn down the invitation or the offer to volunteer when it had been set before her. These things came somewhat mysteriously, accompanied by a note asking for her and Mana’s appearance and humbly asking for her assistance to help out at the ’haunted house’. Where the hell people got her address was a thought that Riulve decided she didn’t need or want answered. Either way Mana seemed excited to go and it seemed like a good idea.

Once more the reliable elder neighbor took charge of her daughter. The neighbor was feeling lonesome especially now a days since their grandchildren stopped coming over for Halloween and other holiday events due to moving and other things. Wynni seemed glad to sit out this event in favor of reading and practicing penmanship.

Mana ran a little ahead of his foster mother-turned-fake-vampiress, with his robes fluttering and his fake light saber hung at his waist as he did not feel like carrying the thing around the whole time. "Look!" Mana called out to Riulve, "This’ll be fun." He was more open and cheerful now that he was older and settled in his routine of the Drunhild household.

Krishna gave a happy, purring sound and quickened her steps so that she was moving to close the distance between herself and Feejhu. Upon reaching her side the Shadow Goddess wrapped her arms around her precious Life Goddess to give her a snuggle, "Hello there Fee. How are you doing? How are you feeling?" She asked curiously, tail lashing back and forth behind her.

Vishal followed his sister at a more sedate pace, pausing to look back at his minion who was starring around himself in awe and not following as quickly as he should. He flicked his tail back and forth before giving Panhsj a little nudge with it, "Hey, try to keep up." He said before continuing his walk over to where his sister and Feejhu were, "Hey there Feejhu, is Dia around?"

The snake boy gave a jolt and looked at his Master before looking around once again. He wanted to wander off, to see more of what was going on but was to loyal to leave Vishal's side. He peeked around from behind Vishal to give a happy wave at Feejhu before he looked around the area, at the others present who were closer to his age.

[Dg]
Feejhu smiled happily and nuzzled her mate a bit. "I am quite well and I feel about the same. The little ones have been doing well also, from what I've gathered." she replied sweetly, gently touching her swollen midsection with one hand.

Kahlua waved slightly to Pan as the elder deities talked.

Feejhu had to take a moment away from her lover to answer the question. "Yes, Diyaka's to be found in the Hedge Maze. Go to the castle and ask the green haired boy for directions to the Courtyard. From there, the man in charge will give you a guide to finding Dia in there. Shouldn't be too hard, and he'll be quite glad to see you. You can leave your little companion here, he can play with Kahlua." the female explained before turning back to snuggling with Krishna.

Orpheus Solon
Kris looked down at Feejhu's belly and then gave a bright smile, "That's good to hear." She murmured, glad to hear that both Fee and the tree kittens were doing well... then seemed to be finally taking in what the other Goddess was wearing and her smile only got brighter, "Thats a very nice look for you." Kris all but purred.

Vishal made a face at his sister's flirting before giving a nod to Feejhu, "Hedge Maze." He murmured, "Thank you." His attention then went to Panhsj who was waiting quietly for orders though his eyes were currently watching the one waving at him in a curious manner, "So long as you behave you can play here while I find Dia."

Pan looked up at his Master with wide, surprised eyes before he gave a rapid nod of his head. He got to stay here and play?! That was awesome! The ends of Pan's two tails set to swishing in a rapid and excited manner and he turned to look over at Kahlua and waved at him. Now that it was alright he was more then happy to be social with the other boy.

The Monster God was heading off then, leaving Pan and Kris to their companions while he sought out his own.

CrimsonCutie666
Seeing the others come Glitera decided to go to the place Feejhu had mentioned. Walking slowly over she wondered when people would come. Grabbing the nearest pinata she hung it on the pulley and pulled it up high. The giant pumpkin pinata smiled at everything below it just waiting for some kid to come over at take a whack at it. Grinning at her work she grabbed her broom and sat on it hovering a few feet off the ground waiting for some little victi....child to run over for a chance at the candy inside.

quietsnooze
Elegy gallops forward, her pigtails and bow decorated tail flailing behind her. Garrett is thankful that she let her fingers slip from his grasp moments before she took off, else he's sure he'd have to have someone pop his shoulder back in.

"BAAAAILEY!" the cowgirl squeals, rushing up to where her friend sits with the all too familiar facepaints. "Bailey, look! Look at my pretty costume, Bailey!"

[Dg]
The boy grinned broadly. "You look lovely, Elly! And so very many pretty little bows!" he told her with a smile. Bailey always did get on well with children, and little girls - particularly ones like Elly - were rather easy to please.

Smerdle
Grey didn't get out much. Make that 'not at all.' This party his sister had gotten permission to bring him to with its crazy costumed denizens and tall buildings was, understandably, unlike anything he'd ever cared to pay attention to. She had left him standing alone while she checked the place out, but she had been gone for nearly twenty minutes now and Grey had kind of turned in on himself, as usual. He didn't have a costume. He didn't need one, really.

"C'mon," Tana said, suddenly by his side again, grabbing up his hand and dragging him across the grass toward what looked like a castle. She was supposedly dressed as Hello Kitty, but without the addition of some black whiskers she had painted on her face right above her mouth pincers and a hoodie with cat ears on it (which Grey thought looked silly considering her own long ears were jutting out of the hood as well) Tana would have looked like her normal self.

They made their way inside the imposing building where Tana immediately dropped Grey's hand and hurried over to a kid dressed in some sort of blue elf getup.

"Nice hat," she said. "Is there some candy in this place?"

[Dg]
Shane Doki'kiri looked up from the book he'd been in the middle of and nodded quietly at the person who'd greeted him. "Yeah. Each of the rooms has a little something for fun going on and candy to give out. There are a certain number of rooms that you can get into which have the events in them. The door back behind me also leads out to the courtyard, where you can find a hedge maze to go through."

The green-haired boy was on explanation duty - and present at all - for two reasons. The first being that he wasn't particularly interested in scaring anyone. The second was that his twin sister had signed him up to participate without his consent and now he was stuck for it.

"I'm supposed to give you candy bags if the two of you are going trick or treating."

-TS- Alex
((Wooo multi-tasking. >D I'm super excited for this event, despite my early absence. D; ))

Simon led the twins with one hand, each of them holding two of his fingers, while leading Epi with his other, toward the grounds with an air of excitement topped only by Epi's own. The twins seemed to have less of an idea what was going on, though they knew that there was going to be a lot of people, but they didn't seem to care on way or the other. Epi, on the other hand, had a bounce in his step and a grin on his face, and he kept tugging on Simon's arm asking who was going to be here and if there would be food.

The two smoky-looking twins, Lydia and Daniel, had been hard to convince to dress up. When Simon had taken all three of them to the store, they had showed absolutely no interest in picking out a costume, and Epi couldn't decide which one he wanted out of the nearly dozen he said he liked. Simon decided he'd make them costumes instead.

He made Lydia a very airy princess dress, which she seemed less displeased with than costumes at the store. It was a pale gold color with white lace, and small purple adornments in the details, so it matched her eyes. He also crafted a tiara from silver, and found faux rubies to embellish it with.

Daniel had always shown a slight interest in his armor, always finding his way into Simon's armory, so he crafted the boy a light-weight set of armor from sheets of tin, and a sword out of foam with a silver hilt and leather grip. The two looked like a classic pair of princess and knight in shining armor, and seemed a bit more interested in the prospect of the party when he actually had them try their costumes on, though not entirely enthusiastic.

Epi had been a bit harder to dress, due to his indecisiveness, so, since he had always had fun accompanying Simon on the less dangerous odd jobs he was hired for, Simon made him a tiny replica of his druid gear, made of some skin remnants, and the bear head helm based on a stuffed bear's head, as opposed to a real skin.

Simon himself had utilized the various skins he had lying around his house and fashioned a bear costume, using his helmet to signify the head. Since it was made out of skins, it looked quite realistic save for the human head that took the place of the bear's throat.

When the four neared the entry of the event, Simon looked around at all of the people and decorations, though wasn't sure exactly where to go. He assumed the table near the front would be a good place to start, and headed there...

[Dg]
Feejhu honestly felt a little overwhelmed with how many people were coming towards her. She was almost sure that a map had been erected nearby that had directions to everything and just indicated this table as a sign-up for the events. And yet here everyone was coming to ask her about things. The goddess didn't mind answer questions but she did want to spend some time with her kitty-girl.

quietsnooze
Elly runs around to Bailey's side and hugs him around the waist. "You're big!" she notes innocently, beaming up at him from under the rim of her hat. "Really big! I, I gotta look waaaay up at you now!"

Garrett hangs back after his sister ditched him, slowing his pace until his strutting mother finally catches up with him. She places her hand on his bare lower back and pushes him forward, knowing exactly why; he wants to just disappear into the background, and she isn't about to let him play his old tune, not at a party as grand as this one, certainly.

He looks up at her with a hurt and panicked expression on his face, but she just coldly shoots it down with a nudge of her head in the general direction of everyone else. He frowns as his old act is as transparent to his mother as the cool October air, and grudgingly continues walking.

Smerdle
Francine smiled at Elly's antics and excitement then turned to Garrett. "Hi! You guys have nice costumes too!" Frankly Franny's own was a little hot and itchy. She wondered how Archie and Panda were doing with their matching outfits as she pulled off her panda-ear headband and set it on the table nearby.

Shiori Tonbo
Having little (read: no) creativity, Fade had settled for costumes for both himself and Valkyrie that seemed suited to them, rather than trying to come up with something interesting. What this meant, in the long run, was that Valkyrie was dressed as her namesake, and Fade was wearing a lot of camouflage.

He carried the toddler over to the decorated area, attempting to make some facsimile of logic out of all the chaos. He -hated- chaos. He wasn't even sure why he'd agreed to bring Valkyrie, except that he felt she needed to be exposed to more children so that she could grow up normal, or something. The books said it was good for them, anyhow.

For her part, the petite goddess of Fate clung to her guardian, taking in all the sounds and smells of the place. There were a -lot- of sounds and smells, and she rather enjoyed them, but as she couldn't see a thing, she certainly didn't want him to put her down. She would never be able to find her way around with so much going on!

((Hitomi and Zephy will show up later. XD I figured I'd start with these two.))

-TS- Alex
Simon caught direction to the map through all of the excitement, but got quickly distracted by all of the new-comers. He soon realized that he'd forgotten how wide-spread this entire thing was, and that he'd never be able to meet all of the parents and their children.

At the sight of all the children, Epi was starting to get even more excited, glad to be around more kids like him than just Lydia and Daniel. Even though he didn't know any of them, he did want to try to meet them all.

Daniel and Lydia stared at each other for a moment, then watched some of the other families approach before turning back to look up at the map. From what little they could pick up from it, there was a lot going on in this place that caused them to dress up in strange clothes, and it seemed that it was all for children like themselves. As they looked around, it seemed that with every glance at each other they were having a private conversation with their eyes that basically said "What on earth is going on here, and why did we have to come?"

[Dg]
By this point, Kahlua had wandered out from behind the table and was sadly wandering among the people. He half wanted to pull a disappearing act, just as Garrett did, but the party had been his idea in the first place. And Kahlua was supposed to meet other godlings at the very least.

Bailey grinned and reached down to lift Elly up for another hug. "That or you've shrunk!" he teased. "But that's okay. You're still a little princess."

With another smile, the boy set down his friend and grinned at her. "Will you be going trick-or-treating inside?"

quietsnooze
Elly looks bewildered by this concept. Shrinking?! Oh no! What if she got so small that no one could see her anymore, or so small that her perfect Halloween costume no longer fit, or that she can't even tie bows around herself anymore! She wears her panic on her face, and brings a hand in front of her eyes to inspect the size.

Alaina gives her son one more push forward as he begins to hesitate in front of the masses. "Look," she speaks firmly, nudging her head in Kahlua's general direction, "There's another boy about your age. Go talk to him."

To this the Eden boy is equally as horrified as he was with the explicit instructions not to fade into the comfortable position of observer. His wings, most surprisingly his misbehaving one, fold up against his back in the most defenseless way possible. Still, his mother holds firm, and he drops his head in a frown and trudges forward.

Bailey laughed loudly. "Honey, I was kidding." he told the child, patting her on the head. "Now you havent' answered my question yet!"

Kahlua blinked at the boy being nudged towards him and felt like a deer in the headlights. Crap, someone was MAKING a person talk to him!

Riulve
After their arrival the mother-and-son pair took their time wandering about quietly going over the plans for the evening together before they would split apart. Mana with his allowance in hand and opportunities ahead of him and Riulve with a job she must do. It was agreed upon that when Mana was done that he would join, or rather find, Riulve at her station in the Haunted Castle.

Mana went his way, first going toward the face painting booth and Riulve went toward the Castle in hopes of getting some form of direction toward her station.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Mama Vivisali made her way onto the scene accompanied by a slender figure that wore a mask over her face and an outfit fit for a harlequin all done in bright colors. Mama Vivisali did not bother with a costume. She was a witch, what did she care for costumes? She may as well go for herself. Her masked 'part-time' assistant was loaded down with tools of the fortunetelling trade all put in a neat little case.

"Don't drop that, Jolie dear," Mama said softly as they walked together onward toward the castle not bothering to glance around. The old witch had a job to do and she intended to complete it before the hours grew too long.

Jolie let out a soft sigh, "I won't, Mama." quietly the Bellune was hoping to be released to enjoy the fair herself and not have to hang around all evening.

Dartsmoore, at this point, had stood up for a moment since her legs were stiff and noticed Mama Vivisali immediately.

"You guys are up at the castle. The Ballroom was made free for you." she grunted, taking a sip of her drink and indicating the building to Jolie and the fortune teller. After that, it was back to her seat for a bit. Dartie didn't have much else she was supposed to do.

Mama glanced at Dartsmoore and then nodded, "Thank you, dear," was all she said before making her way over to the castle and along the way snatching up the lost figure of Riulve at the entry of the Castle all the while chattering about the days when she visited castles when she was but a young maid and how easy they are to navigate. All castles, the old woman maintained, were the same.

Riulve walked with Mama and Jolie. The white haired woman exchanged looks of amusement behind the old woman's back.

"I saw that." The old woman said midst her reminiscing before picking up the strand of her tale once more weaving a tapestry of times older than some may remember.

Shane spotted the women as they entered and had to immediately rush over to direct them.

"Okay good, you're here. Mama Vivisali, the ballroom is ready for you, of course. It is over this way." he stated that mostly for Jolie who probably knew nothing of castles.

"And you, Ms Riulve, are in the topmost tower. You head up these stairs and go into one of the two open rooms and then up there stairs. The tower's pretty much set up so you don't have to do much. Just don't screw with the spinning wheel and make sure no one else does either. And try to keep people from jumping out of the window." he suggested before bowing her towards the door and getting back to his post.

At that point the old woman and her assistant went one way, after thanking Shane. Getting set up would be a business of a quick and efficient ordeal.

Riulve thanked Shane as well when she went her way. Careful to keep her surroundings in mind so she did not get confused and lost on her way to her station. With very little incident Riulve finds her way and pretty much sets up. Why anyone would want to jump out of a very high window was beyond her...

Mana was just quietly glancing at things near by the face-painting booth having managed to get himself very, very distracted by other's costumes and other things in the surrounding areas.

"W..Wow..."
