((My apologies for it being short, my muse isn’t as strong as usual because I am feeling ill cry ))
The sun shone through the canopy above in random speckles of magnificent golden light, the shimmered off the surroundings bearing light on random spots on the ground below. Noon was always her favourite time of day, after all that was when the butterflies came out to play. Her eyes flickered across the surrounding, the lights and the colours always fascinated her, they reminded her of the first memories she had, travelling around with Ehren had made her so happy. She loved the wonders of the world. She walked softly through the forest, her wings tucked tightly in at her sides. She saw waves of colour flutter across her eyes, spinning around she saw a most beautiful brown and yellow butterfly, it swished up and down being carried graciously on the wind in all directions. Her eyes followed it as it fluttered around the trees gently, as it moved forward she followed it, step by step she walked deeper and deeper into the forest. Less of the light peered through the canopy now.

((no problem, my muse is sort of half dead at the moment too >.<))
The stallion stepped lightly through the thick undergrowth, the spongey carpet of moss silencing the sound of his hooves. It was dark in this part of the woods. Not overtly so, but enough to block much of the sunlight that would normally be beating down on his pale coat. He snorted softly, glancing up once at the thick canpoy of branches intertwined above his head. Alexiel wasn't sure he liked it. Certainly the woods were beautiful, in a mysterious way. And once, when he was younger he might have reveled in this new place, a fascinating adventure. Now however, he was always looking out for the danger. And here, trapped beneath a thick ceiling of leaves and branches, should danger arise it would be much harder to combat without the aid of wings.
But, perhaps such thoughts weren't fitting of such a nice day, Alexiel didn't really want to have to think of such things anyway. There were so much more pleasant things that one could dwell on, without always going back to the dangers the world presented. Pleasant things like the lilting birdsong, and the dancing butterflies. Those things were certainly more worthy of thought, weren't they?
He smiled, eyes watching the butterfly weave it's way through the trees, as softly, the sound of muffled footsteps reached his ears. Immediately he stiffed, wings out and ready, just in case. He didn't know what manner of creatures may lurk in this forest, and he defiantely didn't want to be caught off guard should one of them prove hostile. He had met enough hostility to know that not everyone was nice, not everyone could be trusted.
Watching with guarded eyes, he waited for the owner of the footsteps to emerge from the thick trees, ready for anything.

Misti smiled, playfully trotting through the forest as the butterfly swirled in an array of shapes before her, as it weaved through the trees, circling through the trees as the odd leaf stumbled from the thick canopy above. Pausing he cast her eyes to the canopy, it seemed thicker now, less light slivered its way between the leaves here, yet the colours seemed somehow magical in their darkened lull.
Her pace slowed as she continued her walk, no longer following the butterflies, her mind drifted to the flowers and creatures that lived in the secluded dwelling around her, a gentle mist floated around her feet as the moisture began to rise, it seemed that the weather was changing, her wings fidgeted slightly on her back forcing her to readjust them, perhaps it was preparing to rain?
As she continued her walk her eyes where glued to the ground, scanning the ground wildly with her eyes as the insects crawled and wandered through the foliage below her hooves, stomping softly she watched their reaction as leaves flew feebly through the air. Giggling to herself she raised her head, freezing to the spot as her eyes lay upon a winged stallion of grey, had he been watching her, hunting her like some strange prey, a moments panic filled her as she watched him, perhaps his actions would reveal his intentions.
