Anyone know what's going on with the MP right now? Prices took a nosedive yesterday - I know they released a number of store items, but they shouldn't have had this dramatic an effect on the overall MP. Maybe the MP is now following the RL stock markets? (Gads, I hope not.) Or were people monkeying around with a lot of the usual items?
I mean, I'm taking advantage of the sale prices, but I'm also scratching my head a little about this one. I haven't been paying a whole lot of attention to Gaia as a whole lately because real life comes first.

I have seen the prices fall too. I have no real idea why they are falling so fast and so much. I know gaia has been trying to clean out the bots and other scum of gaia. Like you said, im useing this fall for self gain also. And our MP is hopefully not following the RL stocks or we may start having some real problems.

Maybe people are realizing EI are the future? Ekurgh, I can't even describe how deranged that would be gaia=RL economy.

I know they're trendy right now, but one thing I've noticed with older EIs is that the prices FALL when they stop evolving and the later generations finish their evolutions and they're no longer the hot and trendy items. If I hadn't already picked up things like a Hermes' Moon at really good price I'd be shopping now, because I've seen some insane prices. I do expect that eventually Gaia's economy is going to get tied in to the RL one, like Second Life. And it won't be pretty.

Wow, it's been doing that for a while then. I was staring at the market and began to wonder why a lot of the prices started dropping. I immediately thought of the real life stock market. =/ So far I haven't really bought much to take advantage of it. Though, I did buy a katana, but it was still sort of expensive. DX

I think the introduction to the zomg might have had something to do with the mp price drop. with any luck, when the rings even out on the mp, the items will go back up... though it's too early to tell as of now

 [♦] [♠] [♦]▬ ▬ ▬ ▬ ▬It's probably a good thing the prices on so many of the items are dropping.Considering things,things were never this expensive back in 05 and 06,and that was before Gaia went and fixed that "glitch" that was supposedly granting people more gold than it should have.I just wish that people who acquire alot of gold from those random item generators would not buy everything at one time when they hit the motherload.

im not sure why, but what annoys me the most is that I bought a ninja headband the day before they started getting rid of all the bots and the price instantly dropped 500K
