The prey beasts were active today, more so than usual. The female cheetah rested nearby, observing them. She wasn't hungry, no, she had had her fill yesterday. Having caught an injured wildebeest all by herself. She was a self proclaimed expert hunter. As she watched the beasts run around madly she shrugged. Must be a full moon tonight, she thought to herself. Flicking her tail he opened her mouth widely to a yawn. At least watching the beasts running around made for a less boring day. Saiha closed her eyes, nearly dozing off, maybe she was bored after all. Not the smartest thing to do while lounging around in plain sight of everything that passed.

Sellion cursed under his breath as the prey beasts escaped him yet again.
Why couldn't they keep still for a few minutes?!
Sellion tapped his front paw against the dirt repeatedly, eyes and ears twitching. He flicked his tongue across his nose and glared. Maybe in a few minutes...Just a few minutes, he'd get to sink his claws and teeth into one's hide. But he had to be careful. He had to be silent.
The black and pink cheetah sunk low to the ground, lanky body suddenly appearing graceful and stealthy as he moved through the tall grasses. His pink eyes glowed in the shadows and his jaw was held stiff with concentration. Slowly, slowly, he approached the herd...
Then his paw touched something fuzzy and warm.
Sellion shrieked loudly and doubled backwards until he ultimately lost his footing and fell. The prey beasts cried out and ran far away. Sellion lied still, gazing at the sky overhead, heart beating wilder than a mad hare's. "Who dares..." he murmured. Then he jumped to his feet. "WHO DARES?!" he screamed. But he hushed himself. In front of him was a beautiful female cheetah...
Sellion felt a smirk stretch onto his face. He raked a paw through his tangled, dirty mane and raised a brow enticingly. His claws got stuck in a mat in his mane for a moment. He jerked at his paw, lip twitching up in frustration to reveal a fang. His claws were finally released, but with them came a small clump of hair.

The female awoke with a jolt as the male placed one of his paws on her belly. What the? No way did a guy just step on her. She watched with somber and confused eyes and he seemed to scream at the sky above. This certainly wasn't an expected sight to wake up to. She decided to shift to her feet, in case this pink guy decided to make a move on her. Can't trust anyone these days, especially one that acted so crazy.
"Can I...help you with something?" Saiha asked, a bit of annoyance in her voice.
She observed his behavior to be quite disgusting and awkward. Hopefully he wouldn't want to play with her, even with those attractive pink spots of his.
"Oh...and I dare."

Shaking the hair out of his claws, Sellion cleared his throat loudly. His voice cracked halfway through, making him sound as though he were making a pathetic Zebra call. But Sellion didn't notice. He hadn't even heard the question she asked him. He was too busy observing the beauty of the cheetah before him.
My, what demonic colors she had on her pelt...
What hellfire-like patterns she had on her limbs...
But her next words snapped him out of his entrancement. His pink eyes were wide and he blinked slowly, one lid coming down faster than the other. He perked his ears up and almost appeared to be taken aback. "Dare to what?" he asked, confused, flicking his long tail behind him.

With perked ears, and mellow eyes, the female stared blankly at the male. Sort of with disbelief of what she saw. A perfectly handsome cheetah, but with a perfectly stupid disposition. What was the world coming to? It seemed she always attracted the mumbly weirdos. Her mind ignored his question and she began to pace, circling him.
"What do you want? You just stepped on me and now you're gawking. Obviously something is up." Her upper lip gave a slight twitch. His weird tics were making her react in almost the same fashion.

Sellion lifted a paw, looking offended.
"Stepped?" he echoed. "Stepped?" he repeated, volume rising. "I did not step on anything! Nor do I want..." he wheezed, staring up and down the female, turning around slowly as she circled him like a predator, sizing him up. "...Anything..." He twitched an eyebrow, meeting her gaze. He shook his paw a bit in an attempt to relieve some of the pain it still held, but did it in an absentminded fashion. He somehow felt like he couldn't take his eyes off of that cheetah.
What strange powers she possessed...
Maybe she was a demon?

Saiha continued to give the male an awkward look. Obviously he was on drugs, probably. Whatever was wrong with him, Saiha was secretly getting a kick out of his behavior. Of all the creatures she met before, he was the most interesting. However the male she met beforehand acted just as odd as this one. Might be a male cheetah thing, at least Mr. Pink and Black didn't smell as bad.
"Something wrong?" She cooed at the male, continuing to circle him. Perhaps she was trying to hypnotize him.
The demons the male thought about, Saiha knew nothing. If he asked if she was one, she would probably...just probably. Get offended. She did not consider herself hell-spawn.
"The name's Saiha." She whispered into his ear rather seductively. Just wanting to see his reaction to that. Hopefully the results would be amusing.

Sellion's jaw dropped.
"S-s-s-...S-s-s..." the cheetah stuttered, trying to repeat her name. Unfortunately, he couldn't quite get the letters to stack up properly and eventually gave up.
His body was rigid and his face contorted. The tip of his tail twitched strangely and all he could do was gape. "Good..." Sellion began, somehow able to speak again. "Good morning." he blurted, even though it was the evening. "I am Se--Sellion." he said, voice cracking mid-sentence.
Though everything that was happening to him around such a beautiful cheetah would've made anyone else want to kill themselves from embarrassment, Sellion didn't hide his face once. He was completely hypnotized.

Yeah this cheetah was a bit stupid. But truthfully, Saiha didn't mind. She didn't mind having someone to talk to, weird or not. Her eyes bore into his, Sellion was a pretty cool name. Or maybe she just liked the letter 'S'.
"Morning?" The cheetah questioned. "Well...are you one of those cheetahs that sleep all day and stay up all night?"
Saiha wasn't a big fan of darkness, so when it got dark out she usually retreated to her small rocky den. Her head lifted to the sky to find out where the sun was. Good. Still a few more hours left of daylight. She glanced back down at him and her face peeled into a smile.
"You must be hungry." She stated, observing his slim stature. Her own body was pretty plump in comparison. "Want me to catch you something?"

"Yes. No." Sellion said stiffly, completely confused with his mind's inner-workings. His left eyebrow had begun to twitch insanely and he couldn't figure out how to stop it, or at least slow it down a bit. At the observing look the cheetah was suddenly giving him, Sellion's mouth twitched open and he froze up, succeeding in making him look even thinner because he sucked in his lungs as he gasped.
"Hungry?" he squeaked. He cleared his throat. At the prospect of seeing the beautiful cheetah run (Sellion loved running just as much as the next cheetah), he wasn't hesitant at all in his answer. "YES." he shouted, eyebrow twitching faster.
The cheetah was making him act much more insane than usual. And he wasn't sure if he disliked it...

She nodded at the male. Okay, if he was hungry, she would get him food! No doubt about that. However, she thought he was truly hungry. So without even giving him a second thought she targeted a nearby antelope and lunched after it. Kicking up the dust behind her. Less than thirty seconds later she was bringing it back, small enough to drag with her mouth. She stopped and dropped the carcass at his paws.
"There you go. Enjoy." She said, slightly out of breath. "Eat all you want. I'll save the rest for breakfast."
Saiha laid down beside him, waiting for him to dig in. What a weird guy.

Sellion was upon the dead animal in seconds, tearing into it savagely, not paying any attention to a few little things known as "manners".
When he was finished, he sat and licked his maw, eyes glancing around quickly. He had forgotten where he was for a moment. But then...Oh, the cheetah! The beautiful (possibly demon) cheetah lady. Sellion raked his claws through his tangled hair quickly, trying to spruce himself up a bit, but he only managed to make himself look even dirtier, as there was blood all over that paw.
"Thank you, Saiha." Sellion said politely, for once not appearing like a spaz. Perhaps there was a strange, psychotic appeal he gave off in the light of the setting sun...Or possibly not. It depended on how you looked at it. "I'll...Have to return the favor somehow." he said, smirking. But the charm was all lost when the tip of his tail began to twitch on its own.
Yes, he would pay her back somehow. It was a plan.

"Favor? It was merely just an antelope. Those are so easy to catch." She said, rolling her amber eyes. Saiha was pretty shocked that he seemed so normal for those few seconds. Maybe food was his medicine.
She looked back up at the sky, the sun was sinking closer and closer to the horizon. Crap. Her eyes glanced over the male. The mangy thing probably didn't have a den of his own...with the way he looked. So perhaps she should offer her living quarters for the night. Even if he said he stayed up all night.
"Hey, Sellion. Want to come to my den? You look like you need a good nap. It's getting dark anyway...so I need to go back." She said, turning her back to him while looking back. "Follow me if you want."
And the dark colored cheetah flicked her tail and began to walk away.
