Another week had gone by, or has it already been a week? Awnaety had lost time already. The last encounter she had was who knows when. Her eyes rolled in its socket and scanned the field before her. Lately, she had wanted to appear out in the open more, seeking for company secretly. On the outside she was a tough cookie. Not wanting to see anyone, that was a total lie. Her heart still shattered to pieces. A quick thought came to her head, perhaps she should run it out, trot around for a bit. Awnaety sighed and searched around one last time before making her way into the woods. The darkness eating away the land. Night was almost over, dawn soon to come. Dull pair of orbs continued to roll as she carefully trotted on the safe path, feeling a bit more energized the dark mare quickened her speed. Running, letting the night breeze brush through her hair. Ocasionally, her hair would catch a bit of leaves and twigs when she had taken a late night walk in the woods. Today however, was different. Awnaety started feeling fresh, freshly brushed by the wind through her mane and tail. Her legs not stopping for anything. After a short while, but long enough for her, the mare slowed to a trot, and she was laughing out loud. She hadnt run in such a long time, forgot how wonderful it can be. It was great to be free, Awnaety was free. Free from...being stuck with him. A sudden shock of pain hit her chest. The mare halted and gave out a moan. She hated having to think back to him and getting the heart aches. Erasing the thought, her emotionless expression returned and soon she found herself out of the woods, and onto an open space beside the mountains. The air felt cool around her as the wind curved according to her body.
Shaking a little, she relaxed her stiffened legs and stoof still. Searching for anyone around. A twig was snapped once in a while. Her ears listening quite inetently. An owl hooting somewhere near by. The sound the wind made when it blew past certain objects. Her heart beating lively in her ears, as each second ticked by, her heart slowed to its regular pace. Her eyes trailed up to see the sky was starting to lighten up. The season changing to cold. Her breath came out in a puff, and she watched it evaporate into nothing. Her eyes dull with no life filled in them. The mare started walking along the mountain side, hoping she would find something that can keep her interest. The sky held a few clouds, that floated smoothly. Leaves scattered here and there as she continued her stroll. Beads on her accessories clicking together to each step she took. How peaceful it was over here, perhaps she'll hide out here for a few days and head back out into the wide open space for some company. Right now, some alone time wouldnt be too bad. The rather rude and angry Awnaety slipped off as it was covered by the emotionless one.

Giggles emerged from the forest as the tiny foal hopped onward, sticking to the beaten path. She was thrilled. Alive. Having just escaped from her mother's grasp, Phaedra felt accomplished. How had she ever lived without being able to go out on her own? Sure, she'd gotten away every now and again, but she'd never been this far. "Almost to the mountains!" she cried, seemingly amazed. It wasn't very bright out yet, but that didn't phase the filly. Her green eyes peered foreward, trying to grasp shapes of objects when they caught something. A dark shape that wasn't too far ahead of her, and it appeared to be slowing down... How close was it, exa-- "Oof!" The little filly ran straight into the mare, and fell into a crumpled heap. Slowly, she stood. "I'm so so so so so sorry, ma'am!" Phaedra looked frazzled, and at a lack of what to do. Should she talk to the mare? Or should she run away? Surely running away wasn't the answer. "Y'know, if I hurt you or an'thin', I've got a friend who's 'alf Unicorn." She smiled brightly and nodded. "An' if 'e can't do nothin', I'm pretty sure it'll get better after a while. Not like I could 'urt a mare like you that much an'way, right?" The filly nodded before her eyes grew wide. "I mean, you ain't big 'r nothin'. You're the daintiest thing I ever did see!" Her smile returned, but soon faded as she added, "Oh! I mean, you ain't fragile, neither. You look like a strong mare, y'know? One that can hold her own!" Deciding that was good enough, her mouth seemed to clamp itself shut, only to open once again. "I'm Phaedra! But you can call me Phae if you want. I get called both. Or if you don't wanna call me Phae, you can still call me Phaedra. Either'n's fine t' me!" A little grin made its way across the foal's face as she waited for an answer from the mare.

A tiny sound was made no too far from her place. Awnaety searched around for any beings that were around. No one seem to be close however her nose did pick something up. TIt was hard to miss when it found you before you noticed it. A warm touch seem to hit her on the back leg. Turning around as quick as she can and taking quick steps back. She saw it was a filly, with wings and quite the color. Whats with her and meeting bright colored soquilis lately. Apoligizing girl, at least she did. Awnaety softened her tensed muscle only a bit as even young ones can do much harm. This one, however, didnt seem as threatening. Being hit with a wing wouldnt hurt much, she was sure. Still no expression she watched the filly. Awnaety never saw anythign as cute, exception of one thing which she really disliked to think about. Her eyes watched her as she seem to babble on about hurting her. Sighing, she looked her over and decided that she was somewhat worth talking to. Her ears perked as the little one chirped her name out, Awnaety prefered to calls ones by their full names rather than the short form onless she knew them well enough to. Looking down at the girl, Awnaety let her tail flick a bit. Should she give out her name?
"Phaedra huh? Sounds like a very royal name." She couldnt think of anythign else to say, but complimenting the little one. She had called her to be strong looking and that spmewhat warmed her cold heart up. This one had just gained a bit more worth to talking to. he world around them continued to be its lively yet peaceful self. Birds could be heard singing and the wind continued its rustling with the leaves. Her mane and tail wiggled and Awnaety kept her name to herself. Perhaps later this one will earn the right to knowing her name. As of right now, she still is just another. Eyes dull, with no lit fire within them, her optimistic self had washed off when dawn broke out. The sun appeared once and then as clouds washed across the sky. Light appearing then reappearing in a very slow fashion. Awnaety's voice was not as cheerful nor dark sounding as anyones but it was monotone. A tone she prefered to use. Her heart madeits quiet beating, still alive even when shes gone through so much. Commit suicide could be an option by now to the weaker ones. Her body straightened and she tensed her muscles once more as she realised this was a filly, and parents must be around somewhere. Onless, she was living a lonely childhood life such as the one she had gone through. She survived it, so whatever. It proved her strong enough even as a young girl.
