heh. we have our drummers doing a couples dance, tossing flags, and twirling sabres while wearing their harnesses. they're doing a surprisingly good job with it, and the crowd loves it ^___^.

During our drum feature the whole band forms a v shape and kneels down. During a whole percussion rest a suspended cymbal starts rolling and the whole band rises holding their capes in their hands.

Kneeling with a drum on isn't as hard as you think it is. It adds an effect and also gives them a time of rest ^.^

i dont like doing that but it would depend on how close to festival u guys are... i know for us we have one this saturday and then next tues and then the 2 saturdays after that... eek
and we already had 4 of them already our drumline made a 2 for the first then all ones for the ones after that... one we made second best in class and one we made best in class and 2nd best overall... the pretty catholic private school got us... they always do they practices 5 days a week for 3 hours a day and every other saturday... we just have band practice twice a week for 2.5 hours a day and then a sectional practice for purrcussion for about 2 hours,,,
and some times we dont even have the sectional because the drum teach doesnt want to have it or someone doesnt show up and then the teach makes up an excuse not to have practice... hes just their for the check i mean he got fied from our school 4 years ago for haveing a relationship with a student at our school,...
hes back back because the girl graduated,...
