My Friend Abigail has always been better at meditating then I am, but one day while simply chatting, she some times gets visions, feelings and what not, she started saying she was seeing some woods? a forest, a sprout, tree's, moss, Abbie and I have strong bonds, she said "Oh, a butterfly just flew by" (in her vision) and I immediately linked the picture of a blue morpho butterfly, she said "Yeah, that's exactly it" then she started seeing herself in this garden, forest like garden, and she soon said she felt someone was watching her, I was seeing this garden as vividly as she was, maybe less, but the person watching was me, we deduced this was her "inner self" she calls it her inner garden, the area makes her calm and tranquil, this place changes drastically with her mood, once when mad the trees seemed to die, once while feeling emotionally numb the place was frozen over yet under water, she even 'fought' with her feelings? she is a very calm person but now and then gets the feeling of rage and that she needs to kill, she faced off that feeling there, which looked like her but a more dark version, as to one side she stood dressed in white and blue and the other side she stood with longer darker hair, and a black dress, I wont go into details out of respect for her because this is her story, I was simply watching.
To the point:
I didn't seem to have me own garden, nor was I good at meditating, I had gone nights without any dream at all, and I was feeling sort of numb, but i went to sleep, and normally my dreams are very random, normal, meaningless dreams, while Abbie's are lineal and very much like stories, nothing random happens it's like watching a movie, but the dream I had a few nights ago was nothing like my regular dreams, it started out as if I was walking in this area that looked like those sort of canyons in china, in the old paintings, those rocks tower like things shooting up here and there, the whole area was a pasty rock color, not a plant in sight, as I started walking up one of the rock formations I found myself face to face with a "God" this God was very tell, completely black and with a white mask for a face, think the shadow spirit in spirited away, he was extremely creepy yet I got very good feelings from him, he was kind, and gentle, extremely nice, I might have even fallen in love with him in the dream? Some parts have gotten fuzzy, anyway i had to leave the rocky area, but I returned shortly after, and I was looking for the dark God, I came to an area that was like a small valley among the tallest rock formations, like a grotto, it had many plants and little waterfalls and a small pool in the center, there I found myself with a Goddess, she was just as tall as the black god, but she was radiant and beautiful with long flowing hair, but, she was ugly, in the sense of her inner self, her personality, she was sour and mean, I almost hated her, and normally an area like a grotto would make me feel calm, I like nature and places with plants, yet the fact that the bitchy goddess was there made the whole area feel...ick, it gave me chills up my spine, I hated it and wanted to leave, so i quickly asked the goddess where the Dark God was, she pointed out the direction and I headed out, I was going into a cave, normally, caves make me eerie, I don't like dark places because my element and magic point is light, even odder, before enterring the deepest cave where the Dark God was I passed a pool, it was like one of the canyons had filled with water, it was a very cylindrical shape, and when I looked down it looked like it never ended, literally, near the surface there were HUGE koi like fish, and fish with light antennas, like angler fish, but without the scary face, deeper down there were eel like fish, coiling and circling the water, moving around, glowing faintly, and deeper down there were simply..lights, faint lights I could hardly see so it made them look like fire flies of all colors inside the water, underwater pools are one of my greatest fears, I don't like them, much less staring down into the depths of one, and actually I did feel like something was going to swim up and pull me down, yet the place made me feel so..calm and relaxed so so happy, I just wanted to stay there forever looking in.
most relevant points of this dream were the opposites.
-The dark creepy god being gentle and nice
-The beautiful white goddess being cruel and mean
-the grotto, a place that would normally calm me, making me irritated
-the pond in the cave, a place that would normally scare me, making me incredibly happy and relaxed.
When I talked about it to Abbie she said "maybe THAT'S your inner garden, except it's an inner pond"
Since the dream I haven't tried going back to that place, though I should, and I'll try later.
