The day started beautifully, the sun high and the butterflies dancing above the flower fields. It was perfect for her morning run. Her legs thundered against the ground, muscles pushing and pumping. Dmitrria grinned as she slowed a bit to see other Soquili playing with their foals. The sky light up, bright, horrible light crashed to the ground. Her pelt shook, the mane on her neck stood on end. Dmitrria ran for the forests, fear rising in her stomach. She yelped as the thunder roared, and lightning crashed. It felt so warm, like it was right on her tail. Dmitrria rushed into the woods, racing further in until she felt her body brush against another, pushing her fur in the wrong direction. "Oh dear!" She squealed softly as she slowed herself down. Dmitrria turned around and walked back to where another Soquili stood, waiting patiently for her to return. "I'm so sorry, the thunder was chasing me!" She sounded crazed, fear trembling through her body. "I mean, I mean the thunder was so loud." Dmitrria folded her ears back.

Oz smiled at the mare as the mare returned, after slightly bumping him as she ran. He had never mind a pretty mare brushing up against him, so when she started to apologize, he shook his head and smiled.
"No worries. Im going to live I think." He said, his eyes sparkling with teh sun rays that also warmed the stallions large body. His markings were uncommon, he was sure, as he had not seen another with thei look of him yet..Though he would like to meet htem if they were out there.
But the mare in front of him was pretty enough to hold his attention, so he smiled, turning his mind back to her.
The sky seemed to be getting cloudy now, and he had heard the thuinder as well, though he had truly begun to learn to ignore it.
"Yes it was loud." He smiled and bowed slightly. "Name's Oz."

Dmitrria smiled softly, tilting her head to the side slightly, a bit of mane falling over her eye. The stallion's voice was deep, but comforting with it's gentle tone. He was very gentle looking too, his pelt a lovely shade of brown. She grinned and dipped her head. "I was hoping I didn't hurt you!" She smiled as he bowed. And as she went to say sorry again, the thunder crashed against the fields, and rain began to pour. "Well, I'm glad we are hiding in here." "I'm Dmitrria." She blinked her orange eyes as she stepped closer, to get away from the dripping rain. "I'm glad I found someone. Waiting the storm out alone would be awful."

The rain always seemed to bring a chill to the air, that, and the fall winds that had been moving in quite rapidly were beginning to chill the land around them.
"Pleasure to meet you Dmittria." He said with a smile, his eyes still gleaming from the natural sparkle they always had. He was a good guy at heart, even though his short mane and green brown eyes made him look quite the punk.
"Im glad to be hiding in here as well..Though when the rain subsides, I think Im going to go splash in some puddles." He said with a laugh. Oh how he loved to get dirty..

Dmitrria shivered, and flicked her tail. "What brings you here? To my neck of the woods I mean." A wind blew through forest, tossing Dmitrria's hair, and making her step closer to Oz for body heat. "Dammit it's cold!" Dmitrria smiled softly, tossing her mane back in place as Oz spoke. "Mmmm..." She didn't like getting muddy unless she really had to. It wasn't like the mud would show up on her pelt anyways, but she didn't like the idea of mud. Something her mother grew in her. But something about Oz's throaty laugh, and big smile made her second guess herself. "If you don't mind, I'd love to join your splashing around." Thunder boomed again, and lightning crashed again. "When the thunder and lightning lets up of course."

The idea of splashing in puddles with this mare was almostenough to make him forget their safety and bring up them doingit then..Oz may have lived on the wild side, but he would never risk anothers life.
"It is very cold. You should probably stand close." He said with a grin, inching closer to her and feeling her warmth touch his skin.
"And why would I mind the company ofa fine mare and some puddle splashing? You, my friend, are more than welcome to be my splashing buddy."
He said with a bright grin.

Dmitrria stepped closer to Oz, and felt her skin warm and redden as their skin touched. "I do feel warmer now." She grin softly and raised her eyebrows. "You'll have to convince me puddle splashing is as fun as you're making it sound." Dmitrria tried not to explain her problem with dirt in a snobby way. "I don't really like getting dirty...." Dmitrria looked at Oz, wondering if he would react negatively. "I guess cause I feel dirty with my pelt being so awful." Dmitrria wasn't really confident in her looks, and she never minded sharing. She was very confident in her figure, which was well carved from her hard running work outs. Dmitrria's eyes flashed as she felt the sound of thunder resonate through her body. "Holy spirits!"

He gave in, closing in that precious little space left between them, even though they had already been touching. He made sure they were huddled, using the excuse he wanted her to be warm.
He grinned, and raised his own eyebrows. "Ah, miss, you should definately know the pleasures of the mud puddle."
He said, giving her a nod and a nudge with his large head. He was a bigger male, and she was such a small, yet built female.. He was instantly attracted to the mare, and his eyes gleamed.
"You could never be dirty." He said with a nod. Oh if he truly knew Dmittria's grandfather, he's know otherwise.
He embraced her when she jumped from the thunder, using his neck to huddle her to him so she could hide her face if she so chose.

Dmitrria grinned, rubbing her body against him slowly and gently for more heat.
"Mmm. Are mud puddles all that great?" Dmitrria laughed softly.
"I could never be dirty?" Dmitrria laughed to herself.
"You don't know me that well just yet." Her voice was smooth like silk, her response flirty.
Dmitrria tucked her head under his large neck, and she could feel his calm pulse. Why wasn't he afraid?

He felt the heat radiating off her, and it drove him more crazy than he had been before. He was a gentleman, but he could dream right? He liked the thrill of flirting, didnt mean he'd ever go so far as to be ungentlemanly about it.
"Mud puddles are almost as amazing as sunshine..Almost." He said with a smile and a nudge to her.
"No, you could never be dirty..Not to me anyway. See, you could be dirty, and be just as beautiful to me as you are right now." He said, eyes gleaming.
He smiled as she tucked her head under his neck, and he let out a sigh, and just held her. Pulling away slightly, he smiled.
"You okay,dear?"

"Puddles are cold, and wet." Dmitrria laughed, and nudged him back.
"Well...." It was hard for her to reply to such kind words. "Well, thank you." She felt his gleaming eyes in hers, and she felt oddly warmer.
She rose her head from under his.
"I'm fine... it's just thunder always scared me. My father used to say it was the sky spirits yelling down. Ghosts in the sky.

"Puddles are wet, but temperature can be ignored when in teh right company." He said with a nod of his head, his mohawk bobbing along. It was getting rather long again..He'd have to have Anusha work her magic with the blades again.
"You're very welcome, though I didnt do it to be thanked. I did it because its a fact." He truly felt odd accepting thanks when he had nothing he thought was needed to be thanked. He enjoyed complimenting, and telling the facts. This mare made it possible to do both at one time.
He smiled, giving her a nuzzle of his nose and sighing gently.
"Ya know, I have never heard that..But if they are yelling down, they wont get through me to you."

"Oh, really?" Dmitrria smiled, her voice becoming silky again. Normally her voice had a pep in it, but when she was attracted to something or someone her voice became slow, soft, and smooth.
"You're a factual person then?" Dmitrria grinned. "Well you, sir, are a fine specimen as well."
Dmitrria shivered under his touch. It felt so odd, so new. It was driving her crazy. She couldn't get to excited now, not get in too deep. Not get to attracted. Right, like that was going to NOT happen.
"Thank you, I will think of you whenever I see or hear lightening or thunder."

He smiled giving a gruff nod and standing a bit taller.
"I guess you could say I strive for the facts and logical sideof things.." He said, knowing full well that was totally bogus, he only happened to be extremely honest most times.
He stood a bit puffed in the chest when she called him a fine specimen. Oh this was working out quite well.
"I appreciate that. But Im hoping.."
He started, looking into her golden eyes with his green-brown ones.
"That you dont have to think of me in storms or thunder..I hope to be there with you." He said, okay so it was pretty heavy..But he couldnt help it..

Dmitrria giggled, ducking her head in a fit of laughter. He sounded so serious, and the way he started to hold himself. Dmitrria thought it was adorable.
"You appreciate that but....?" She repeated him, waiting for him to continue. And what he said wasn't what she expected. "Oh."
"Oh." She slowed. Commitment. Did she want it? Yes. Could she handle it? Yes. "I..... I want you to be there too..." Something inside of her wanted him there. And she couldn't resist that. "I want you to be there for me always." And if it didn't work out, she'd start over again. Like she did with Akuba.
