THE ROCK FIELD!
Tremors rippled forth from center-field as the basic floor shifted to a rock and dirt field, rock towers jutted forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an attack advantage. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirred the loose sand on the field, this creates a mini sandstorm that could possibly blind those who were battling. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ROCK type attacks

"Okay, Bell, ready for another friendly match?" Renekai asked her Delibird, grinning.
Bell glowered at her trainer; she could do without the sarcasm. With Bell, no match was friendly.
"Well, we're up against Faraon this time! Don't let him get you, or you'll be cat food."
Bell rolled her eyes. An old overgrown kitten like that couldn't get the best of her! Bell flew onto the field, perching on a rock pillar. Faraon was blind, too, so this battle would be almost too easy... "Del!" Bell called out, puffing her feathers up importantly.
"Don't get cocky, Bell! This will be harder than you think!"

Faraon trotted towards the trainer's box elegantly before leaping into the field with a loud call. His human following close after him, but at a slower pace. Dr. Hart stop at the trainer's box and smiled towards Rene. "Salutations..."
The persian sat down at his end of the field, licking one of his front paws. This would be interesting..."Perrrr......"

"Hello!" Renekai said to the doctor. Then, going back to the battle at hand, she said, "Okay, Bell, let's start this off with a Focus Punch!"
Bell closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating hard, before her right wing glowed a faint white. She then leaped off of her pillar and flew across the stadium towards Faraon. At the last second, Bell pulled back her wing and aimed a "punch" to Faraon's forehead.
Renekai had to suppress a grin; she didn't usually use Fighting type attacks with Bell, as they usually involved fists, so it was a bit amusing to watch Bell use her wings as hands.

[Rene, could you put a warning at the end of your post that you are using an effective attack? I don't mind looking up each attack, but i might miss it]
The healer smiled. "Faraon, charge and focus on her." He said in friendly matter, softly.
The faint glow of the blue jewel started to intensified, a glow appearing on the blind eyes as they focus on the delibird. The persian ducked his head down, not completely dodging the attack as he resived some damage on his backquares while he twisted his body about to face his opponent with a toothy grin on his face as the glowing instensified further.
"Now, Faraon, Power Gem, if you please." He spoke as if he just asked the feline to pass the sugar.
Faraon suddenly open his mouth as the glowing suddenly drain from his features and ball of power formed inside the feline's mouth. With a roar, he unleashed the beam towards the other pokemon.

((Sure. And what is Power Gem, exactly? I looked it up on Serebii, and it's not there. ... Which is why this is taking me completely by surprise. -__-;; )) "Tch!" Renekai said, watching as Bell was blasted away. Before she had even recovered herself, Renekai shouted, "Ice Beam!" Yeah... It wasn't a very nice attack, to try to freeze your opponent, but Renekai hadn't expected such a devastating attack... Bell shook herself off, then opened her beak, sending a beam of her own at Faraon.[925/1150]

Faraon hissed as he become frozen in place, he wonder if this would be a repeat of some of his other battles.
The healer raised an eyebrow at this, he would have to recheck his battle log and see how many battles Faraon hadn't been frozen or paralyze, he was starting to think he should get an ego about this. That thought made him smile, he was sure it would make Faraon laugh.
"Very well, you have us at your mercy, do as you will."

Renekai could not hide a small smile. Ah, those rock-type attacks were murder, but now Bell could have her revenge. Perhaps the battle would even end in their favor! "Captivate!"
Bell glowered at her frozen opponent, then tried to relax. This was an... interesting attack to use, but necessary. Bell flirted and puffed up her feathers, batting her eyes. Yep... She was trying to charm that old geezer.
Renekai tried and failed to stifle her laughter. "There... Now we're on even footing!"

Dr. Hart put his hands over his mouth, trying his best to keep calm as he watched the display. "Oh, Faraon, I swear you should be very very glad to be blind right now."
Faraon made a questining sound at his human, but said nothing more. The feline sniffed the air, picking up on an scent that was rarely found in battlefields unless someone was using....Faraon suddenly understood and cringed.

Bell, glad to stop using the embarrassing attack, charged at the immobile Persian to prove that Bell had only done that because she had to. Her wing glowed slightly as she summoned up her energy. Bell flung herself forward, swinging her "fist" down upon Faraon with all the might that she could muster.
Renekai was still laughing. It was so much fun to tease Bell, and this would provide for endless jokes. I am SO going to get frozen for this... she thought with amusement.

Faraon hisssed, feeling the impact against his ribcage through thick ice holding him in place. The blind eyes close, trying to concentrate in a fire attack to break away.
The healer leaned against the railing and watched silently with a gentle grin, it could be said they both were used to being in this position, unable to defend themselves.

Renekai knew that their time was running out. They had to do as much damage as possible in as little amount of time as they could. "One more Focus Punch!"
Bell flew into the air, hovering for a moment above Faraon. Allow me to punch you with my claws! she thought to herself. Taking careful aim, she then dove into a reckless swoop, talons fully extended to wreak havoc along Faraon's flank and back.
Renekai strained her eyes to see how much damage had been done; the attack was so fast that Bell was in the air once more before Renekai could blink.

Faraon yowled in pain as his whole slam into a rock pillar at the sheer force of the attack. His body shook and twitched, lingering effects of being frozen in place, but none the less he rose to his feet, blind eyes train on Bell.
The healer gave an approving nod to his own pokemon's actions, but glared at the sight of profound damage that was visible. His hair shadowed his face, this was something he hated, to be unable to counter. He was sure Faraon himself was thinking the same somewhere among those lines.

Renekai bit her lip, then said decisively, "You know what to do." Faraon was almost completely thawed out, but he was also badly hurt. Things were looking up for them, and hopefully it would stay that way...
Bell was quite satisfied with the damage she had done with her modified Focus Punch. She flew up a little higher, eyeing the persian that was regaining the ability to move. Better do it fast... Bell plummeted, talons ready to strike. She only hoped that this attack would be just as successful as the last one...
