I saw a couple people in the favorite song thread saying that if they were to become a stripper that this is the song they'd want to have playing in the background, which prompted the question...
Do any of you really know what "The Jack" is?
As confirmed in an interview with Angus and Brian, The Jack is Aussie slang for Venereal Disease. In short, the entire song is Bon/Brian singing about how a girl who claimed she was a virgin had actually been around the block a few times, and gave him VD as a result. Therefore, the ladies may want to reconsider making it their theme song...hehehe...
If you're doubting this theory, pull up any live version of it and listen closely. I highly reccomend the one off If You Want Blood...

The Jack on IYWB is pretty cool, the lyrics are differenct which is why I like that version.
On the topic of this song, fansites have said that there is a 7 minute long 'full' version of The Jack, is this an Aussie-only release or a bootleged version?

I think my favourite version of The Jack is the one from Cleveland in '77...its really funny, the lyrics are different that the other versions I've heard.

It's about Gonnerea.. yeah it's a nasty disease where the p***s leaks a little fluid that burns it, essentially off.... Still a kick a** song though
and now i can play it on my guitar, solo and all.... Aah good times

in my band thats one of our fav songs to sing ^_^ (im in an AC/DC Tribute band) its actually alot of fun once the audience joins in ^_^ lol
