October Contest
I live in the states and this time of year, all the stores stock up on candy, and kids pick/make costumes and prepare for Halloween. On Halloween night, kids go door to door saying ?trick-or-treat? and the people at each house give them small pieces of candy.
This said, the theme for October?s contest is a package design. Design a package for your favorite type of candy. It doesn?t have to be Halloween themed, but it can be if you want. Be sure to include the name of the candy in the design, everything else is optional. It can be a chocolate bar wrapper, a bag full of smaller candies, whatever, it?s your pick.
You may present the packaging on the actual product (I.E. the wrapper on a candy bar) but it is not necessary. 3nodding
Rules:
Image Source: stock photo's, your own photos, effects, brushes, etc...
Number Of Submissions: Multiple submissions allowed. Total submissions by one individual not to exceed 10. (simply because if everyone sends in 10+ submissions we will have a poll that is miles long)
File Format: .jpg, .png, or .gif are best, .bmp is ok if you must.
Size: Please try to keep your submission less than 800px wide. ( you may submit a link to a lager version for people to view)
Prize: Thank you letter for October 2005
Still entries only, Please no animation.
Deadline: Midnight October 31th
As always, all submissions must follow gaiaonline's rules and regulations.

Done this before, it's a challenging thing to manipulate candy wrappers, pending on what kind you choose.

I think you are supposed to, but I'm not in charge of prizes, I'd say check with SilverVixen, the guild leader, about that?
