Allow yourself some quiet time
Concentrate on your breathing, feel yourself relax with each breath, breathing deeper, growing calmer, feeling peaceful.
Allow your eyes to close, your neck and shoulders to relax and tension slide down towards the ground. Let your hands tighten, then they too will rest comfortably, your chest will begin to move at a comfortable rythm, and allow your hips and legs to find a comfortable position, and they too will relax. Your feet will flex before they too become comfortable and allow the calm to flow through them.

Once you are ready, ask for those guides and deities that will best assist you in your journey. Allow a soft light to flow from above you, and suround you, and along your form. Feel its gentleness, and warmth as it aids your body to relax even further.

Allow your heart chakra to open. Imagine a door appearing close to your chest and expanding so that you can stand before it. If you wish, you may choose to look at the structure, note any symbols or details that catch your eye and are comfortable for you to look at. When you are ready you may open the door.

Before you is a small clearing, a nice grassy area surrounded by a thick forest of tall evergreens and low lying shrubs. In the center of the clearing is a small pool as you aproach, you notice the stone work sides, and that it appears shallow. The rim is a comfortable height and width for sitting on, the water reasonably still and clear.

Allow yourself to sit here for a moment, and enjoy the peaceful nature of this place. If you wish you may explore this place, or remain seated and ask your guides to join you, or you may continue to another place of your choosing or one you are guided to with the assistance of your guides.

When you are ready, allow your thoughts to begin thinking about your body, and begin making your way back through the door. Slowly wiggle your fingers, move your feet, and tilt your head from one side to the other. When you are ready you may open your eyes. Give yourself a moment to feel secure in your movements. Then go about your day.

It's been a while since I've done this one. It is a nice relaxing place. My forest is primarily white pine (named for their lighter green and fine strip of white on them), I can definately smell the pine scent. The edge of the pool is of stone work with carvings of different animals and faces. I sat down on the edge of the pool and touched the water to cause small ripples, but not enough to disturb it too much. As I sit, a young doe comes out of the forest to drink the water, then comes over to me and allows me to touch it. Then guides me to the next part of my journey.
