Are they only available through the hourly drops, or can they be bred? And if they can be bred, how do you do it?
Normally I wouldn't ask this, but I can see me having about a billion black dragons on my scroll in attempts to breed it, and I just want to know if that's even the right way to go about it.
Help? xd

By black dragons, I think you mean warrior dragons.
And I think the breeding thing is half-random. When I say that, I mean that it's likely going to be of the same breed as the parents, but it can also be a different one that doesn't match either.
This whole post was a guess.

Alt blacks, like the alt plant/vine/green dragons, are all bred dragons. You're not going to get one from a normal egg drop. You could possibly get one that has been abandoned but I think your chances may be slim. Most people don't abandon them. If they do, they're trying to "pass/trade" them to someone else (a pre-arranged deal).
Muffin got his alt black from breeding a sky with a black. I can't remember which gender each was but you could look on his scroll and see them. I think I've finally got an alt black *crossing fingers* from breeding one of my black females (BD Warclaw) with an orange male (Tigre d'Uga).

So then it's probably totally random, but one parent most be black.

Well Alt blacks tend to be around 5 gens of breeding, sometimes more, it took me 10 to get mine but i finally did not that long ago, hope that helps smile
