 Yuki Haru sat under a multitude of fruit trees and was slowly dazing off. It was a very slow, and humid day. A very lazy day. The sun was reaching high noon. Yuki sat and watched some butterflies that floated by and the welcomed wind blow through the trees.

"There's nothing to do but that won't ruin my day," he said to himself with a flamboyant tone.
Unlike most senrei, the male was optimistic about all the little things in his environment. He treated each object with care and respect since it was in his nature to be kind and jocose. His very being usually cheered others up. Though right now he was looking for delicious fruit to quell his sudden hunger. The male trotted down a well-known path until he came upon rows of fruit trees, his glowing white orbs looked up at some of the fruits hungrily. His attention suddenly fell upon the nice, red, juicy apples that were in one of the tallest trees.
A wide smile spread across his beak as he outstretched his rainbow tainted wings and prepared himself for flight. He was about to run when something odd caught his attention. It was another creature much like himself but with a different coloration. Sai folded his pinions and decided it would be better to meet a knew friend rather than to eat an apple.
The male then took it upon himself to trot over to the other senrei and granted her a smile. He noticed that she seemed dazed and sleepy but it was high noon, how could one go to sleep when it was the best part of the day? Though his glowing hues caught where her purple orbs were looking and instantly became mesmerized by the butterflies that fluttered about.

'I know! A little exercise will make me feel better!' Yuki Haru thought to herself.
She stood up and streached, pouncing after the butterflies, forgetting she had wings. all was peaceful and well until the useual happened. She tripped over a tree root and landed face first into the ground as the butterflies flitted away, above the trees and out of sight. Yuki sat up and watched them fly away as she rubber her hurting nose with a sigh.
She got up and limped back to the tree she was sitting under and picked up a mango, one of her favorite fruits and was about to eat it when she noticed she was not alone in the orchard. Another senri was there as well. This senrei looked like shadows penatrated by the joy of rainbows and brought to life by the light of the moon. Yuki put down the fruit and stared at the male's beauutiful siver moonlight eyes, as if in a trance.
"H-hello?" Yuki stuttered in a questioning way, thinking that this was a mear dream after dazing off in the hot afternoon sun. Perhaps she hit her head so bad she passed out again?

The butterflies kept hold of Sai's attention until a movement caught his peripheral vision. His glowing orbs turned towards the source of the stir and found them upon the other senrei once more. A glowing smile illuminated his face as he continued to advance towards her but his pace seemed more delayed. The male felt a rush of playfulness spread through his body as he watched the female pounce after the butteflies. He wanted to join in too since it looked like fun but all that ended after the poor creature fell face first into ground. A flash of worry spreading over his once happy expression.
Sai nearly dashed to her side but contained himself as she slowly got up and limped back to tree she was under previously. A breath he didn't know he was holding finally let out as relief flooded over him. It wasn't everyday you saw someone fall flat on your face after tripping over a tree root. The larger senrei allowed himself to get a little closer so that the distance between the other wasn't so great but he didn't close it too much since he didn't want to scare her. His moon-like orbs drifted to the mango the female was about to eat and his stomach started to give low groans, reminding him of his previous hunger. Sai shook his head as he looked up at the female, finally taking in her apparel.
She had radiant white feathers with matching purple hues to decorate her feathers and gems. Her wings had a dark mass of purple on her marginal coverts and alula which allowed the pure white feathers below it to look like snow. The random assortment of odd spots stood out as well. His focus on her colouration was halted as a timid sounding voice reached his hearing. His glowing orbs shot up to look straight into the purple hues of the female, a warm and amiable smile gracing his beak. He didn't want to scare her but it seemed he had taken her by surprise. But she also sounded bewildered for some reason.
"Hello there," Sai replied, his voice beaming with delight. "Sorry if I scared you or anything, I just saw that you were playing with the butterflies and I wanted to say hi... and perhaps join you in lunch?"
Sai meant no other meaning than what he said since he had just met the female senrei but he realized it could have been taken another way in her eyes. An embarassed facial expression soon took over as he gave a couple of nervous chuckles. It had been a while since he had actually conversed with another senrei but when he did, he was told that he was a bit too forward without meaning it.

"Oh.... Well it seems that I scared the butterflies away.... I'm sorry....." Yuki hung her head apologetically.
"Well, there are plenty of fruit trees around here that we can pick from for lunch, so I would be happy to have lunch with you.... Oh!" It seemed as if a lighbulb just went off inside of her head.
"My name is Yuki Haru! It means Spring Snow or Snowy Spring, I can never remember which... What is your name? You have such pretty feathers....." Yuki felt a little embarrassed for saying that out loud.
