"Come on Kaesar! We're supposed to be exploring, not loafing around!"The mutant Hebisune gave a soft growl, moving to glare at the blue hybrid infront of him. "Exploring doesn't mean running around like an idiot, Hybrid." Shaking his head he moved to pounce on the young one, stopping him as he looked around, holding the hybrid between his paws."Getoff!""No, young one. Stay." He growled a little, ears flickering as his tails did. Hm... Crimson eyes watched the slightly-weaker hybrid struggle under his grasp. He knew how to grapple and hold one down when he needed to.

If their struggling and grunts weren't drowning out any and all sound around them, the pair of two-tailed creatures would likely hear the rythmic clinking of a changepurse bouncing repeatedly, up, down, up, down. A small green cap floated just above some bushes, its owner's ears the only visible part peeking above the foliage. This arnulf, dubbed by most who see him as a "leprechaun," truly was a rare sight in these parts. Usually too taken with his gold to venture outside of his neigborhood, this was one of few occasions where he decided to explore a wooded area. Among the trees, he always felt at home. The only thing that would make this trip better was a pile of shining treasure. With a spring in his step, an aquatic arnulf of unusually small stature turned and took a cut through the bushes, finally spotting the red and blue pair. O'Reilly blinked at what he saw. Apparently wrestling, one of the kimera was clearly a hebisune, despite having two tails and elongated fangs. But the other one... 'What in the name o' the Pooka is that?' O'Reilly, temporarily stunned while trying to comprehend what in the world Argus could be, sat down, his hat nearly falling off of his head until he tilted his chin upwards. The thought that he might want to break up the fight never even crossed his mind.

The slightly-glowing Hebisune tilted his head as he heard some leaves rustle - now... Ah. It was an Arnulf. A bright one at that, and a mutant like himself. "Now quiet yourself and be a good boy. We have company."
"Company?" Argus struggled and was finally let up, squirming and smoothing his tails before he stretched and stood on all fours to watch the newcomer. "I'm Argus. And the flashlight over there-" He nodded to Kaesar. "Is Kaesar. Who're you?"
"Not a flashlight!" He flashed his fangs before swatting the hybrid with a large paw. "You are the one who is bright enough to blind the sun itsself!"

The green arnulf clicked his tongue a few times and settled his the fins that replaced the usual arnulf wings. An airy snicker escaped him when that blue creature insulted the other and swiftly smacked. He wasn't quite sure why it was amusing... It just was. "M' name's O'Reilly. Pleased to make both 'o your aquaintances," he said quickly through his rather thick accent, trying to hold back any further laughter as the black claws on his front paws came together, making clicking sounds as he fidgeted. Luckily, his short attention span was recaptured as his pumpkin-colored eyes zoomed in on Argus' claws. Needless to say, he was captivated by their color. If only he could be so lucky, to be born with golden claws.... That reminded him to ask that awkward question. As he did with most things, he asked it with a wide grin. "If ye don't mind my askin, Argus, what exactly are ye? I've never had the... pleasure o' seein' yer kind round here before." Admittedly, he didn't come around this area often. But did they really have to know everything?

Argus' ears flickered as he glared at the Hebisune. "Your the one with the aura that everyone can see you bloody ma-"
"-Hush you!" Kaesar gave him another good thump with his paw. "Unless you want to find yourself out at sea with your adopted brother I would answer the Arnulf's question." There was a glance over to the green one with the crimson eyes, a slight nod of his head. "Don't let him fool you, he is still young. It is a pleasure to meet you as well."
Argus sighed and curled his tails up as he sat and watched the aquatic arnulf. "A hybrid, I guess would be the right word. My dad's a mutant Hebisune like Kaesar, and my mom's a raptor. I have two sisters." His tails wagged slightly. "And my adopted brother is Kyrios - maybe you've met him? He's a huge Plecigator, blue and black."

"Why thank ye, Kaesar!" O'Reilly continue to laugh at the bickering and mild fighting, even as his question was answered. Oh, I see! To be perfectly honest, me boy, I've never heard of such a thing happenin'. But You're livin' proof!" His curiosity satisfied, the tail of the aquatic mutant wagged a bit before he answered the one directed at him. "No, I'm afraid that I don't know any plecigators like tha'. I've only met a few, about a year ago, all black and brown. They're all mean coots. Wonder what happened to 'em...?" His ears swiveled as he actually gave it some thought, before losing the train of thought again.

Nodding, Argus gave a gentle smile. "There are a few hybrids, but not many... Me and my sisters... And Sieg's kids, they're serpopard and griffin... Uhm... Mom said something about kangadile hybrids one time, but I've never met those."
Kaesar shifted his muscular body for a moment, a paw moving to smoothe back his ruffled fur. "Most Plecigators are rather agreeable... The ones I've met act like pups though, playing and blowing bubbles in the water." There was a slight displeasure at the statement - he probably hated water.
"Oh. That's alright. If you ever meet him, he's always nice." Argus' tails wagged slighty as he watched the Arnulf. "What has you so far from the sea? Just wandering?"

"The sea? Oh, I do na' live in the sea, boyo. I live in the city. That may explain the reasonin' behind me inexperience with Plecigators, eh? But aye, I am a bit far from home in any case. Sometimes me old paws just set themselves to wanderin'. You too?" O'Reilly snickered softly as his glance shot between Argus and Kaesar. These two seemed so different that it was a surprise to see them together. But, of course, stranger things had happened before.

((Awh, its okay. I understand. *huggle*))
Argus grinned softly. "But I thought you were a Water type Arnulf... You've got fins." His head tilted slightly, much like a curious little kid... In truth he was a little kid, at least in mentality. Hybrid's bodies usually grew faster than their minds.
Kaesar sighed and shook his head. "Just because one has fins... It does not mean that he lives in the water, Argus. And we are wandering, though not too far from home. I am watching over him for his mother, while she is with his father off... Somewhere in a forest, for some reason or another."

"Nah, the water is never close enough to home. I did use to do a fair bit o swimmin' in me younger days! But me fishin' talents 'ave been a little neglected in more recent times." The finned creature darted his beady orange eyes in the direction of his changepurse, reassuring himself in the gold's security. He jeered for a moment before returning his attention to the other kimera before him. "Hm... Two mates off on a vacation, eh? Nothin' strange about tha.'"
