Sneaking away from the little leopard's family was quite hard. For her family was so huge. She had 6 other siblings, a mother, a father, a aunt, two uncles, and a grandma. To her, it was a real fun challenge to get away. After doing the task of slipping out of their eyes, they'd never realize it until she got back. Having so many of them, made it easy to disappear for a few hours unnoticed.
Now the real fun would happen. Hopping along, since it was so much more fun the running, she noticed that the land had very little trees. To her, it wasn't odd. The ground was dry, but still had brownish yellow grass. which made it hard for her to hide in. she was so bright, that it was almost impossible to play hide and seek in this stuff. Her dark gray eyes glanced around the land to find something interesting. Though, there was nothing but bugs to chase at the moment. Which didn't seem at all fun. Bugs were nasty little things, and they BITE.

Nitakidhi was roaming on her own for the first time. For a mother that liked to remind her child how she had never wanted her and the whole thing had been a complete accident, Sinasina sure liked to make sure she stayed out of trouble. It was that reason that kept the pale-purple creature from thinking that her mother didn’t like her at all. In fact, she felt quite happy with her life. She loved her mother, despite sometimes being pushed away, and couldn’t find any reason to complain. Even the fact that she was unable to see out of her right eye didn’t seem to be too much of a bother to her.
The little leopon was a very happy creature, hence the name Nitakidhi- “I will delight”.
She was moving slowly over the grounds, a smile on her muzzle as she scanned the area looking for something exciting. Each stone, each bug seemed to bring a new awe to her expression. Everything was so pretty and cool! She was so happy to finally be old enough to head out on her own. Now she got to have little adventures just to herself.
Stopping, the little female noticed something in the distance. It looked a lot like her- small and young. But… there were differences too. This creature seemed smaller, a little, and her tail was different. Was she a leopon too? Or maybe a leopard like her mother? Now she had to know. So she moved forward slowly. Carefully.

Lulua'line quickly noticed someone coming towards her. Her ears flicked forward as far as she could make them go. The other was quite pretty. Having light purple fur, and odd colored eyes. Or rather eyes that were different from each other. Lulua didn't know if her own eyes were like that, and with that she tried to see by going cross eyed. She never once thought to ask about her eyes. Though she heard her mother say her eyes were much like her fathers. A dark grayish color. She flung her tail back and forth, that looked much like how a dog would. Her hopping stopped, or more rather she had fallin trying to see if her eyes were a different color.
Of course, that didn't keep her down, or damper her mood. She quicly got up and laughed about it. Though, her once blue, purple, and white fur now had a mixture of brown in it as well. Though, that still didn't matter to Lulua. Dirt was just another part of life, and no sense in trying to make everything clean. Plus, it was her mother's job to clean her fur. Or at the moment. She didn't quite get how it worked yet. Finally, remembering what she was doing, she looked about for that other feline, and headed towards her. "HELLO!" She shouted on accident. She got too excited sometimes.
The other reminded her alot of her aunt and uncles. Though she wasn't quite sure if it was whatever her mother said they were. Some mix of creatures. Her mother didn't approve of it really, but Lulua didn't know why. Nor would until she got older. For now, she didn't even know how babies came. To her, they just appeared out of no where, or were given to parents when they where ready to care for another. Her mother really never went into detail. Though Lulua was quite curious about it.

Nita gave a happy laugh, watching the other cub act a little strangely. Though she knew her eyes were different colors, and that one of them didn’t actually work, she never thought that it might confuse other animals. After all- she had only ever met one other creature aside from her family members and that was a lion. He had seen her when she was very little, but she still remembered him very fondly. She wanted to see him again more than anyone else. Even her father, whom she knew nothing about, wasn’t as important to her as this lion.
She didn’t know if he would come back or not, but she would stay hopeful. It was nice to think about and made her smile.
Back to the matter at hand, Nita watched the female get up, as uninterested about the dirt as the other one. She didn’t mind getting a little messy, though her mother really didn’t approve. She said that a lady needed to stay clean and look their best for the males. But what did she care about boys?
They were icky.
“Hello!” She called back, not quite as loudly but just as happily, “my name is Nita! Who are you?” She asked, turning her head so that she could look at the cub fully with her good eye. It was something she had gotten quite used to doing while she was exploring on her own. First time looking at a stranger, though. She noticed that both the other creature’s eyes seemed to work just fine. They weren’t like hers. Same as her mother’s eyes. Maybe she was the only one who had one eye that didn’t work. Sinasina had told her that a lot of other animals had only one eye. Had she been lying? Nah. No way.

"I'm Lulua'line" She spoke little more controlled now. "But you can call me Lulua" She added. She really didn't care if her full name was used, or a nickname her sisters gave her. She noticed how the other looked at her she titled her head curiously. "What's wrong with your eye" She asked about it. It wasn't like she knew about anything like it. None of her siblings here blind, nor had she run into anyone with such a problem.
Her tail lashed as she watched the other. She was very interesting. And looked similar to what her aunt did, other then the color of course. Could they be related? She didn't ask that, that'd just be odd.

“Lulua!” Repeated the female brightly, “haha, I really like that name! It’s fun to say. But I like my name too. In fact, I haven’t found a name that I don’t like yet!” Of course, she only knew a couple of animals, but that was aside the point. Lulua had a really nice name and she enjoyed the way it rolled off her tongue. For her, names were a big deal. They seemed to hint at the kind of personality behind the creature.
At least, that’s what she felt was the case.
“My eye? It doesn’t see,” she said wit ha shrug, “I think I’ve always had it like this. I don’t remember a time when it was working! But I don’t care. I was going to ask you while your eyes were the same! Do both of them work?”

"I don't think I've heard a name I didn't like either. But Names are names, and everyone should like them." She said with a nod. Of course, she didn't know why everyone should like them. She was sure that there where some she might not like. But who knew?
She gasped. Not being able to see! that sound horrible. Though, it seemed she could see out of her other eye. "That must be awful?" she asked. Not sure what else to really say. Maybe there was someone who could fix the problem some day. Who knew.

“But I can see out of the other eye just fine!” said Nita with glee, whimsical about the whole matter, “it’s really not awful at all! Cause it’s been this way since I was born, I think. Or my mom tells me so. So I’ve never seen out of it! You shouldn’t have to worry about me! I promise that it’s not awful at all.” She sat back, humming lightly to herself for a moment before she thought of something to ask of her own.
“Oh! So you look like me, but not really! What are you?”
She felt sure that the cub was like her mother. A complete leopard. She was only half of one herself, but her mother assured her that it really didn’t make her any different from anyone else. She was every bit as good as the other animals. Betters, because she had two different kinds in her.

She couldn't help but think it was still horrible. If she couldn't see out of one eye, then she'd not see the world to the fullest. Or at least, that's how she saw this all. Perhaps, one day, the other would run into a god who'd grant her sight within that eye. Oh, that'd be great. But she knew of no such god that could. The only god she knew of was the one her aunt told her about. Which, her aunt knew nothing about. So really, she knew nothing about any god. Just knew that they could possibly exist.
"Oh, I'm a leopard." She told the other quite confident. She loved exactly what she was, yet she also loved what everyone else was as well. They were put on this earth to be exactly what they turned out to be. Her tail moved wildly threw the air as if it had a mind of its own, and Lulua' had no idea what it was doing. "I know what you are I think." She said with a nod. "you look like what my aunt is, she's half lion half leopard." She told the other. she was sure of it. Cause the other looked alot like a leopard, just not really a leopard.
Some features about the other seemed rather off, but she couldn't at all place it. For that she's never see a lion before. At least not a grown one. She didn't think. "Am I right?"

“Oh yes, that’s right!” Laughed Nita happily, surprised and astounded that her new little friend had managed to figure out what she was right away, while she had to be told about her being a complete leopard. So she was like Sinasina after all. Tail flailing, she giggled about rolled about on the ground. It was nice to meet another cub that wasn’t like her and her brothers. Not that she spent much time with them, anyway. Mostly it was only her mother around.
Who, bless her, wasn’t always the most fun to play with. Sometimes she would be cranky and tell her to go play on her own, but she had never found a companion on one of those solo trips. Not until just now, anyway.
So it was no surprise that she was a little excited about things.
“I am a half lion, half leopard! My father was a lion. I think. That’s what my mother tells me, anyway. I’ve never met him myself, so I couldn’t tell you if she was only lying!” No, her mother wouldn’t lie to her. The male had been a lion and had left on his own journey, possibly to return some day in the distant future. That hope was with her.
“Do you want to play?” she offered, “we can play whatever game you want!”

Lulua fond nothing wrong with the other at all. Apart from her non working eye. Was that a disadvantage for the other? Most likely. She flicked her tail and smiled at her. "My aunt and uncles are the same. See, their father is a god, and my mommy says gods are only lions." She nodded. Of course that probably wasn't true, but it seemed too enough to her. "But they don't have the same daddy as my mommy. My mommy's dad left my grandma all alone before the god game. Who left her too." She spoke as if nothing was wrong with what happened.
Her dad suck around, but that was one out of three cases. So to her, her dad was odd. She didn't know that it was better that the father stick around then leave. "My daddy stayed though." She nodded. "I look mostly like him. Just with my grams spots, and this white mark down my back similar to my mothers. " She nodded. She really loved her family.
"well, what game do you want. It wouldn't be fair if I got to pick. What if I pick something you don't like?" She spoke. Of course that wasn't the case at all. She just never offered games first off. She always heard what the other wanted to do, then picked something else.

“That sounds really cool!” squeaked Nita, before raising her head, “what’s a God?” Her mother didn’t often speak of them, not knowing what to believe herself, so she really knew nothing about them. She assumed they were just some kind of Lion, though, since Lulua had just said only lions could be Gods. She didn’t really get a lot of what the young leopard was saying, but listened with a smile all the same.
She had found that it was never a bad idea to smile and be happy.
“I don’t look like my mommy,” Nita hummed thoughtfully, “she says I remind her of her brother’s color, cause his hair was rimmed with this color purple. But I don’t know what her brother looks like. He’s never been around and mommy doesn’t like to talk about him very much.” She didn’t know that Sinasina didn’t think her brother was alive and that was why it was so difficult for her to speak about him. Sighing, she shook her head, trying not to linger on the conversation. Maybe her mother wouldn’t like her telling strangers these things. Nita was bad at keeping secrets.
“But then it wouldn’t be fair for me either, cause what if I picked something you didn’t like?” the girl giggled in response, “we could play tag! I haven’t gotten to play with a lot of other little girls before…. Or ever! I only have brothers!”

"A god..." She started. "I haven't the slightest clue, but my mommy says they have some type of power that we don't." She nodded. Though her Aunt had some type of power that she didn't. Did that mean she was a god? That'd be neat. She was related to a god! Or maybe not who knew? She'd know when she was older, she supposed.
"Well, she shouldn't be upset on the matter" Lulua'line said. "I think if she should be happy. Cause not only do you remind her of her sibling that she can't see, but you are also her daughter." She smiled and tried to get the other to think positive about the situation. "She might just be too happy to really say much about it." She nodded.
"Only brothers! I got a brother... and five sisters." She spoke. " We never play with our brother much, he's always around mommy." She added. Lulua was a bit of a talker, sometimes it wasn't really for the good either. "Tag is great. Do you want to be it, or me?"

“I’m sure she’s happy!” Nita said, “I want her to be. She’s my mommy and I want to make sure I can make her as happy as possible. It’s only sometimes when she starts to look a little sad… I don’t know, maybe it’s an adult thing! Maybe once you grow up you don’t get to be happy all the time anymore.” That would be very horrible indeed, imagined the leopon, as she was devoted to being as happy as possible at all times.
To have to grow up and not be happy… that wouldn’t be very good at all.
She smiled, not really needing to be assured of anything. The cub was a happy soul who lived on cheer and good will. For her, finding something to be happy about wasn’t that much of a challenge. She was always good at looking on the bright side of life, even when her mother didn’t seem as keen on it.
“You have a big family!” she gasped, “six siblings?! That’s too many! I only have two brothers and sometimes I think that’s too many too! I’m around my mommy a lot too. I guess your brother and me would get along!” She giggled at that, tail beating the ground. To answer her question, the little leopon jumped forward, touching her nose against the other’s shoulder. “Tag!” she squealed, darting away happily.

"I'll never get that way. I'll be happy as ever, all the time." Of course that was something she couldn't really promise. She didn't know what'd happen. And she wasn't always happy now, how could she be happy all the time. "If adults get sad too much, I don't think I want to grow up." she said. Lulua didn't always see things as a cub half full. It just depended on her day and if she got away with things, like sneaking away from her family.
"I think it's just right. See, this way I can be here. If I only had a few siblings I wouldn't be able to sneak away." She told the other. Her mother was very protective of them. Almost too protective. And having time away from everyone was the only reason why Lulua would disappear. "Maybe, he's just a brother..." She said.
Before Lulua could really do anything, she was tagged. How unexpected! Lulua stood up and leaped after the other one. Of course, she missed the other quite a bit, so she continued to go after her. "Hold still I want to tag you" Of course that wasn't the point of the game, but it was still fun to say.
