Totally messed up my strategy. However, I bought the deck and 2 booster packs, one of which had an awesome synchro. But since I play with a total lock-down defensive deck, it'll take me at least 3 monsters to get out a level 8 synchro.

that's how most synchros are brought out. you use krebons/psychic commander and contact with a multiple of two to three star monsters that aren't tuner monsters.

Synchro's overwhelmed me with their release at first, but I'm used to them now.
Out of randomness, I bought a Black Rose Dragon Tin yesterday (2 CSOC packs, 1 TDGS, LODT and PTDN), and pulled a secret Overdrive Teleporter, the only secret I've ever pulled! (granted I haven't bought a pack in like two years)
