.....Kasimir yawned wearily as the first light of dawn started to break over the plains. The effeminate male sighed, smiling a little and stood up. He wasn't too tired, in fact he really loved to run around the forest early morning and see all the beauties of the still asleep world. If it weren't for the fact that he'd been having an especially enjoyable dream Kasimir might have been disappointed at how late he woke up......He stretched out his limbs and then pranced off to check out the area. He didn't know any other Aisulu around here yet, but he always liked to make sure that there were no threats around. Partly for his own peace of mind, and partly because he yearned for the company of others. It was very sad to be alone all day, no matter how beautiful one's surroundings are......He would sometimes frolic with the smaller animals during the day, but it just wasn't the same as having company of the same species. Maybe he'd travel some day, see if there were some like him near by, maybe some day soon......It didn't take him long to reach the lake from where he was sleeping, and he slowed to a nice pace as he came up to it. Looking into the reflection he smiled widely at himself. He was proud of his appearance, sure he wasn't very muscular, and he had a soft face and small antlers, but his androgyny carried a charm he liked. He figured that one day it might be seen the same way by a female. It'd surely make him look very nice and non-threatening......Even though he had an inviting smile he'd always fight to protect others who might show up some day. Especially children, he had a fondness for children because of their spirit and curiosity.

The sun was shining brightly even with the earliness of the hour. Raspberry eyes squinted up at the sky as the little, brightly colored fawn walked through the uneven grass. It was a glorious day, but little Färben was slightly confused as to his surroundings. The vast expanse of grass went on as far as he could see- as did the blue sky above him- so, in truth, there wasn’t much confusion about what his environment was, just where it was. The thought came and went easily to the fawn though; his young idea of priorities not very deep yet. His attention span wasn’t that great either, as the sound of birds or crickets, or the sight of a passing butterfly fluttering by would distract him completely.
This is what brought him to the waters edge of Glory Lake- a couple of white butterflies danced together in the sky and Färben chased after them, a smile on his face as his violet hair whipped about his face. Now the sparkling water had his undivided attention. After he drank from the cool surface, he took to running through the shallows watching the drops that came up sparkle and the ripples spread out to the rest of the lake.

.....Kasimir's sensitive ears twitched as he heard splashing somewhere near. He swiftly snapped his head up and looked around. What he found was an excited looking...what was that? Was it possibly one of his kind? .....The male cautiously snuck around to the part of the lake that the newcomer was frolicking in. He sniffed the air. It sort of smelled like him, but not quite. This scent had a familiarness that he knew he'd smelled before, but it was far too vague and he couldn't remember what, where, or when it had been. .....Kasimir let out a soft thoughtful noise and snuck up behind the small being. He was definitely sure it was one like him. But littler. Definitely a youth. He was so bright, too. Kasimir couldn't help but smile, and he gently splashed the little creature, a smile wide on his face now.

Färben was, by now, soaked to the bone and having more fun than ever. He had seen a small school of fish and went to get a closer look only to have them swim away. Fascinated by this, he ran after them, they’re muddy brown color more intriguing than their strange movements. After a minute, the fawn had lost sight of them and stood pouting in the water, searching. Where had his funny friends gone?
The sudden splash caught him off guard and he twirled around, fully thinking it was one of the fish come back to play. Färben was awe struck by the strange and familiar creature that was smiling at him. He sniffed the air, trying to see if he could tell what this being was from his scent, but all he could find out that it was similar to his own; it didn’t hold the fruity scent of his own, but was more woodsy, but there was still something that was the same. The creature looked similar too. Bigger yes, but the basic body shape was the same. This being seemed friendly too and having the intent to play.
A yellow hoof came up, pulling the water with it to splash the bigger Aisul back. Färben laughed as the other got wet, finding it very funny. He was intrigued to no end by the creature that look like him but didn’t.
