Adaya trudged on quietly through an open field. She hated being alone, and longed for Balidy (her familiar) to return from his adventuring. She needed someone to do her bidding, someone to find food for her, to find a place to sleep for her. She sighed and shrugged fixed on the idea that there were none around for that. She lowered her head into the yellowing grass of the field looking for green sprigs. She hated the coming of fall, it only meant looking longer for food. She found green grass easily and began to munch away, paying no attention to the world around her.

Rokhan on the other hand was loving autumn. It was the first time he'd experienced it, and though his thunderstorms were gone the winds were moving in new and exciting ways. The changing of the leaves to golds and reds against the grey-ish skies reminded him distantly of his Momma; as well as himself and his sister. He'd once been concerned that maybe his coloration wasn't natural but this new season was quickly convincing him otherwise.
As he moved about in search for the last remainders of green grass and maybe some late ripening berries, he was not expecting to see the spot of blue on the ground that was not even ten feet from him. It was clearly another soquili, and a mare at that. A fact which made him laugh to himself. He wasn't sure if meeting nothing but beautiful females was a blessing or a curse. Either way, she looked lonely but maybe she looked that way to Rokhan because he always associated the words 'alone' with 'lonely'. With a shrug of his shoulders and a quick toss of his mane to get his hair out of his eyes, he cantered up to her with an easy smile.
"Oi there, lass. Ya be lookin' for company?"

Adaya raised her head quickly and turned to the voice she had herd. She had expected a soquili to be there, but his looks were quite off from the usual soquili she came across. Her jaw dropped slightly at his appearance, a blade or two of grass drifting from her open jaws and floating slowly to the ground.
He was, to say the least, beautiful. Swirls of dark blue circled his body, reminding her of light cloud wisps covering the night sky. His mane and tail caught her eye and held her attention the longest though. Many nights she had sat on hilltops and at the edges of cliffs to see the sun as it set in the sky, and his mane and tail were a perfect embodiments of the sight she so loved to see. "A walking sunset..." She whispered to herself after she had swallowed what was in her mouth, a whisper that was little more than her breath rushing from her lips.
She did not take in at the moment the necklace of what seemed to be teeth around his neck, or the fact that he possessed what she would consider fangs (as she had never herd of tusks before). The thought of him possibly being dangerous never even crossed her mind; how could the sunset be dangerous. Instead, her usual curt manner towards those she didn't know was washed away by her awe. "Hello sir, company would be delightful." Adaya replied softly.

He'd not been able to hear her, but by the look on her face Rokhan asn't entirely sure he would have wanted to anyway. Her open mouth and roaming eyes were enough to make the stallion's cheek tint with a purple-blue blush and he craned his neck to look elsewhere. At least until the heat in his face died away some.
He had to admit that the mare herself was something to see as well, he'd never met any other who so closely matched the colors of a cloudy day in their colorations. They were quite obviously a far cry from his own outrageous colors. He wondered what passer-by would think, should the two of them be seen together... Especially amidst the golden and red hues of the harvest season.
"I'm certainly glad o' that," he finally remarked; almost as quietly as she had, "it be a nice day for some company... Would there be anythin' ya need or want to do?"
