Autumn was finally here and the park was absolutely gorgeous with all the colorful leaves everywhere! There were children running and jumping into leaf piles as Crescentia carried Sera up to a swing set, Seduire following along close behind the pair. "Isn't this nice, sweetheart? You can swing and play with kids your age for a little while and then we'll have lunch anywhere you'd like!" The gypsy lifted her free arm that was currently carrying a picnic basket, looking down hopefully at Sera; she needed more friends her age. Guinevere was becoming slightly more independent, although she would never say no to playing dolls with her sister every now and then, and although she had Emmet and Stella she still needed to come out of this little shell she was stuck in!

It'll be fun, Sera. And today you won't have to worry about those annoying pests in your oboe. Seduire assured her, flapping his wings a little to glide along next to Sera and Crescentia until his girl was set down at the edge of the sand pit the swing set sat in. See? There's still a couple swings left! Sera smiled shyly and nodded to Seduire as he landed beside her, petting his head before she turned and looked up at Crescentia.

"Under the tree?" She pointed at a nearby tree that still had most of its beautiful orange and yellow leaves. That looked like the perfect spot for Crescentia to watch her from and then have lunch with her under. It wasn't too far away, it was a pretty spot, she could still see her mother and if she got scared she could just run over to her! The gypsy nodded, pressed a kiss to the girl's head, and walked over to sit under the designated tree. Let's go swing, Seduire~! Sera smiled warmly to her daemon and carefully dodged a child swinging next to the swing she wanted and climbing onto it. Will you push me?

Uh...I can try! The crane flapped his wings enough to get him level with Sera's shoulders. She was little but she was still bigger than him...here goes nothing! He bent his head down and flapped forward to push her with his head, good thing Sera giggled and started swinging herself afterwards.

For one Rose Cooper, autumn was a welcomed season. Brisk walks under rust painted leaves, an archway contrasting delicately Sable’s bright blue. When Westley had requested to take Sable and Prison out of the house for a couple hours or so for him to prepare a lecture Rose had little reluctance in grabbing a thermos of tea and a few small sandwiches. The teen also took dressing the younger girl with pleasure as well, admiring the tiny gloves, fleece and scarf placed upon Sable’s person. Not to mention the dragon was getting nippy. Hand in hand, both girls trudged though leaf pile after leaf pile into the park. It was close and quieter than most during this time of year. Also taking into account, both Sable and Prison had grown familiar with it during the summer, enjoying the swings and the air beneath their bare feet.

Sable looked up, bringing her round face to meet her cousin, dark eyes asking in silent question a small smile beginning to pull at the girl’s lips. She crinkled her nose in the cold air and glanced down at her Daemon, now curled underneath her scarf like a hidden necklace with head and slender neck poking out from under her hair. Sable paused staring intently at the swing set before once again bringing her gaze to Rose.

“Can we swing?” Sable asked with a little bit of hope flashing in her dark depths. Rose grinned and nudged the smaller girl along, watching as long haphazard locks tumbled up and down with earnest. She would bet money that Prison would not be amused at the change in pace.

“Sable! I’ll be over here!” Rose called out, pointing to a few picnic tables by a nearby tree, shedding its gold.

“Kay!” The fee dee shouted back before pausing at the pea stone filled structure. Sable looked down at her clad feet, tucked safely away in boots and socks, which she certainly couldn’t have any of. “Hold on, Prison” She muttered before reaching down and slowly removing both footwear and socks. Her toes curled at the chill in the air but she still pressed on, wanting the familiar sensation of air beneath her feet, despite the temperature.

-Your feet are going to freeze and we'll get sick...- Prison complained as he cuddled further into the warmth of Sable's neck.

The girl ignored him as she cautiously made her way over to the swing set, finding the farthest and most preferred swing still available. As she came closer there was a sense of familiarity and she was sure it had to do with the other young girl being head but by a crane that sparked the feeling. Sable paused, standing before the girl with Prison about her neck and feet bare and cold beneath the hem of her ankle length skirt.

-They look familiar…- Prison muttered and tilted his head before giving a quiet snort. The Daemon clawed his way out from under the scarf and atop the long ratty hair of his other. With a stretch of his wings and a snap of the jaws he continued, this time directing his speech at Seduire. -You know you’re going to hurt yourself like that-

You don't have to keep pushing, Seduire~! I was only playing with you. Sera giggled and leaned back to get herself a tiny bit higher up in the air, holding tightly onto her swing's rubber-coated chains so she wouldn't fall or fly off and hurt herself. Seduire merely shrugged. If it made his girl happy he was more than willing to do whatever it took, and she seemed to be enjoying herself on this swing!

The crane settled himself into gently gliding in circles around the swinging Seraphine, acting as a sort of guardian I suppose you could call him. See? Your mother was right, fresh air away from those mean spirits will do you a world of good. It was then that he heard a voice addressing him, his surprise causing him to stop in the worst possible place. He flapped in place and looked around for the source behind Sera, more focused on finding it than his girl's currently position...

Ah! That dragon over there must have sa--AUGH! A sudden force from the side sent a squawking daemon flying into the ground about three feet behind Seraphine. At least the sand had cushioned his horrible landing. The girl had dug her heels into the ground to try and slow her swinging, but it only served to make her back hit her daemon and send him to the ground. Sera winced and rubbed at her head, whimpering ever so softly for a moment. Seduire! I'm so, so, so, so sorry, Seduire! I didn't know you were there! She turned back to make sure he was okay, but the daemon was already standing and shaking sand from his feathers. Really! I am!

It's fine. That daemon over there tried to warn me. Seduire tilted his head towards Sable and Prison, warily stepping closer to Seraphine now that she was only sitting on the newly dubbed death trap. Thanks for the effort. This was directed at Prison, shaking himself one last time to get the remaining sand out of his feathers. Seraphine was clutching onto the swing tightly now. This girl looked a little familiar...she couldn't remember where she'd seen her but she knew she'd met her somewhere. Nevertheless her shyness got the better of her until a certain daemon nipped at her heel. With a gasp the girl reflexively kicked her foot up away from the attacker. Hey! Blushing at the thought that this girl had just witnessed her accidentally attack her own daemon, Sera waved to Sable with a timid little smile. "H-hi! Wanna play?"

That's my girl. Seduire puffed out his chest proudly.

Sable’s quickly chilling toes curled into another as she pigeoned her feet in attempt to retain heat. As Sera continued on her trek, swinging forwards and back, the feeling of premonition dug deep into Sable’s gut. This wasn’t going to end well. Worry etched itself deep into her brow and she flapped her arms in warning as she saw the course of body to daemon. “Wa-wait…”

The damage was done all too quickly and Sable could only stand with her knuckles brushing against her lips silently admonishing her Daemon. You really shouldn’t have distracted him like that. He must have gotten hurt. Sable sighed and took a tentative step forward before lifting the dragon off from her head. He responded with a flourish flap of his wings and a light n** at her nose.

-He had it coming.- Prison responded before jumping off Sable towards the ground, slowing his fall with a stretch of leathery wings. He once again directed his attention to Seduire, keeping civilized like they’d be practicing. -No broken things?- The dragon’s nose prodded the air, sniffing out the scent of the other daemon.

-Definitely familiar- He concluded towards Sable who skewed her vision in attempts to remember. Nothing popped up readily but at least she felt comfortable. She propped the soft fabric of her scarf higher on her neck, toes curling in the cold sensation of the sand and she looked at the swing again, longing stretched across her face.

But the other girl wanted to play and she supposed that camaraderie was much more fun than solitude with Prison. Sable nodded shyly and looked from Daemon to Fee Dee with a small smile playing across her lips.

“ ‘M Sable.” She said slowly as she thought about the other girl, her origin, why she was so familiar. “This is Prison… He’s a little snippy but he can still play.”

Prison snorted and tilted his horned head at the other Daemon, mirroring his proud stature by standing on his hind legs and curling his tiny clawed hands under his rib cage. The dragon’s tail seemed to flick back in forth in a cocky mood as he looked onto the other pair.

Seduire was cautiously spreading his wings, doing it slowly in case their collision had actually done physical damage. The wing on the side that'd hit the ground first was a tad bit sore but it was probably from the impact of hitting the ground, he was sure it'd be fine! He'd be flying again in minutes! Sera still didn't look convinced that he was okay, and now her own arm was sore at the elbow. Are you sure you're okay? She asked one more time, taking the chance of Sable's distraction by her daemon to hop off the swing and gather Seduire up in her arms. Sera felt bad so now she wanted to make it up to her daemon by spoiling him.

I'm fine, I'm fine. I just let myself get distracted is all. I should've known better. He folded his wings against his body and settled himself into Sera's arms, looking up at the girl who was speaking to Sera now. That was the daemon that had gotten him to stop flying and caused him to get hit by Sera! Hmph! His feathers ruffled slightly and he rest his head against his girl's arm, looking from Prison, to Sable and then back up at her. Sera was smiling, walking up to Sable and Prison.

"Seraphine!" She said with as much energy as she could manage. Seduire was obviously giving her tips on how to be more sociable. Smile, be courteous, be energetic. Things like that. Meanwhile, the crane was sitting proud in Sera's arms, almost like a vain cat being cradled by its owner. "'Kay! This's Seduire!" Seduire bowed his head for a moment. He sure thinks highly of himself, acting all regal and vain.

These two look familiar, don't you think we've met them somewhere? Sera blinked and glanced down at Seduire.

You really think so?

Sable stood cautiously, toes curling around the sand beneath her feet, as the other girl approached. Yet, as the unstable feelings swirled in her stomach, she released a friendly grin empowered slightly by a serpentine tail wrapping around her ankle. Prison felt the nervousness and banished it with the contact that his other half was supported by. He gave a small formal nod to both Seraphine and Seduire in the short introduction.

“Seraphine is a pretty name.” She titled her head, allowing for loose hair to partially cover her face. She looked to the Crane, Seduire, before thoughtfully pulling her bottom lip between her teeth. “It’s very nice to meet you.”

Sable took a glance down to Prison confirming his earlier thoughts on the situation. -they are very familiar, you’re right.- She reached down, offering a warmer place for her daemon in her arms to which Prison readily accepted. Leathery wings stretched out and over Sable’s arms before contracting back in quickly and tight in order to retain heat.

Sable looked over the small park, there was the swing set right nearby. Also, an arched metallic structure with many bars acted as both climbing structure and monkey bars. The Fee Dee lowered her chin to the top of Prison’s head in thought; a small tune was hummed quietly until she popped back up in excitement.

“Wanna play Lava?” Sable asked, enthusiasm rich in her voice. “It’s a game where you pretend that the ground is made of lava and you can’t touch it or else you’ll get burned and die! She then further began to babble off her description. “And we have to have a goal or quest…Or maybe we play tag at the same time where someone is the monster?”

Now it was guesswork to create a suitable game but spirits where high for both Sable and Prison as they recalled a small game form earlier in the summer. Rose had taught them this, much to Westley’s dislike. They would be chased all over the play ground structures until someone fell onto the sand and laughed the game off….or until Sable scrapped her knee on a small branch.

“And since Seduire and Prison can fly…they can’t cheat and can only flap three times” Three digits were held up for emphasis beneath Prison’s chin. “Before they have to stop and stuff...”

The compliment on her name helped to brighten her shy smile. Did she really mean that? She was so nice! "Sable's pretty too!" Sera replied with a bit more enthusiasm than she'd had before. It seemed that telling her something positive about herself made her feel more comfortable around unfamiliar people. Well...actually, these two were familiar, she just couldn't place how.

See? There's absolutely nothing to worry ab-- Seraphine's gasp and a tight squeeze cut him off.

"Die?" Oh, Sera. You're so adorably gullible. Seduire squawked loudly when the girl hugged him with the same tightness a child would hug a security blanket with, except a security blanket wasn't a living breathing animal. Die? What? But why would anyone want to play a game where you died when you lost?! She didn't want to die! She was still so young! Trying to hide her fears, Sera listened quietly to Sable's explanation and suggestions, holding her breath so she wouldn't whimper. She didn't wanna die, she didn't wanna die--monsters?! Why did their have to be monsters?

Come on Sera, make a decision. Death or monsters. Death or monsters. Seduire was still being squeezed, so he started squirming as much as he could and squawking again.

Sera! Sera! She said pretend! The crane tried to assure her. Sera's grip on him loosened slightly. Play the lava game. There's obviously no real lava here at the playground. It's only pretend. Finally Sera seemed convinced after a sly glance at the ground they were standing on, sighing with relief and putting her poor, strangled daemon on his feet. Shaking her feathers out neatly, Seduire looked around. Three flaps and that was it? Well...he could glide! Simple! Sera smiled sheepishly, embarrassed by her earlier behavior, and finally nodded to Sable's suggestion.

"Lessplay Lava." Her smile returned now.

Sable cringed at the fear tangible in the other girl’s face. With furrowed brow and misted eyes she bit her bottom lip. She didn’t mean die literally, it was only a game. The forgotten really did not want Sera to have any large ill feelings towards her not only was she friendly but she liked her name too. A small grin pinched at her cheeks as she shuffled bare feet and absently fiddling with Prison’s coiled wings. “Not really die… Just pretend.” She mumbled sheepishly, hugging Prison tighter to her body for a moment before reaching up to place the small dragon atop her head.

“So you wanna play? Where should we start and what is our quest?” Sable subtly opted for the less scary option. Monsters were no fun and sometimes when playing tag with Rose she fell and hurt herself. She didn’t want that to happen to someone as nice and pretty as Sera. She gave a small knight-like bow and grinned brightly. Sable glanced over at the play structure attempting to plot something out.

Prison jumped from his perch and lazily floated to the ground by Seduire and Sera before sniffing them quickly and releasing a short snort. Ebony wings rustled lightly as he adjusted them on his back. - you have to help me watch them, humans are so prone to falling on their crazy limbs- Prison gave a quick glance back to Sable who had a perplexed look upon her face as she considered the two Daemons.
