ArdenArden flittered back and and forth, frolicking through out the meadow. The meadow had been her home ever since she had popped out of the jar that still sat next to the old tree. She of course knew that other areas and places existed, but she had no urge to go there right now.
"Why would I want to leave, I have everything I want here!" Arden said happily. She continued to fly happily around the meadow chasing leaves.

She rarely ever ventured to anywhere by herself, even though technically there was little to fear (as long as one stayed out of the mountains) and the world was more or less safe. Besides... it wasn't like Miyu didn't at least know how to run, she could if she was quite pressed. It was just not in her nature to go out by herself, so when she decided she would try (in order to cure herself from her nervous habits) to venture out by herself, she found herself wandering in the meadows.
The meadows still had some flowers left, especially near one of the old tress that were wide and tall. Some say that's where the fairy Seconds came from, but she had never seen a fairy Second before. Then again.. she hadn't met a lot of Seconds that weren't family.
The little child girl climbed up onto one of the large twisted roots that was exposed above the surface. It looked... like a good place to rest, little did she know there was something playing on the other side of the said tree.

Arden chased a stray leaf caught by the breeze, she delighted in watching it twist and turn. She followed the leaf until she was on the other side of the tree and was surprised to find a girl child snuggled into one of the larger roots that protruded from the ground. Arden has never seen a human girl, or was she an angel? Usually only elves and other fairies played in the meadow.
Not able to help herself Arden reached for one of the nearby flowers and gently bent it's stem so that in leaned right over the girls nose and moved the petals of the flower back and forth over her nose.

Miyu's nose wiggled side to side like a rabbit's would. She smelled something pleasant but didn't realize it was something that was touching her nose. When she looked up to see what was tickling it, she was surprised to see it was a flower.
Not just a flower, but someone was there as well.
"MI!"
She exclaimed in surprise as she lost balance and fell off of the root and onto the ground. The flight part of her active she resisted the urge to skitter away.

Arden's smile widened as she watched the girl's nose twitch. But the girls surprised reaction startled her and she jumped away and flew back the other side of the tree.
"Kyuuu" She squeaked as she flew away.
Without a second though she jumped back into her vase to hide for a moment, peaking out over the top she though about whether or not to go back out and see if the girl wanted to play with her.

Miyu scrambled to hide behind the tree, she peeked out to see vase in which Arden was peeking out from. She blinked wide eyed, she had never seen a vase just simply left out in the open like that. Not surprising since she had parents to speak of.
"Miiii?"

Arden hoped her mommy would return soon, she had left Arden and her vase to play in the meadow while she worked. Deciding that if Miyu was hiding like her than she couldn't mean her any harm. Slowly she crawled out of her vase and fluttered over to Miyu.
"Kyu?" she squeaked as she was suddenly face to face with Miyu, Arden had not realized the Miyu was right behind the tree and fell to the ground surprised.

"Mi!"
Miyu squealed in suprise, but the fact that Arden too was surprised kept her from bolting on the spot. She blinked down at the little girl before slowly edging over to gently prod the little fairy.
"Miii?"
If Toshiro had been there he would have been whacking himself on the head, this was the worse case of non word communcation ever.
