I couldnt come up with a title so its just our alternate ending for now xd and sorry if this plot summery stuff sucks, we talked about so much lol but I tried to get the jist heart heart heart Seto And Joey heart heart heart After being reunited with Ishizu Seto decides that he's had his fun with Joey but its time to end it and take his chance at having a more normal life and a family of his own. Ishizu would be his perfect wife but its Joey's imperfection that attracts Seto to him. Can Seto simply lock away his feelings like he does with everything else or will this be harder to run from? - Seto marry's Ishizu - Joey tries to forget about Seto by having fun, like drinking and partying - Ishizu has Seto's child - Seto cheats on Ishizu with Joey heart heart heart Sam and Atem heart heart heart Sam has always been insecure and gets easily jealous when any girl flaunts over her Atem. Atem, being a former Pharaoh didnt mind the attention and didnt see it as a problem. So going together to a tournament where Atem had tons of fangirls was not the best choice for them. After Sam gets jealous and angry there is a big argument between the two of them, resulting in a break up. They were both too stuborn to stop fighting. They dueled in the tournament and got to take out a lot of their anger on each other. They become rivals, always having a close match though Atem always seems to find a way to win. This drives Sam nuts and makes her even more eager to beat him and more spitefull. Atem drowns himself in tournaments, contantly dueling. Sam loses her loving happy cheerful side and becomes cold and angry all the time. heart heart heart Yugi and Akiko heart heart heart Akiko's parents want to move back to America after the tournament. Akiko tells Yugi and he, being the nice guy he is, doesnt want her to feel bad so he just smiles and says its ok if she really wants to go. Akiko takes this as Yugi doesnt really love her so she leaves and falls into a depression. Yugi is upset she actually left him since he loved her so much. Yugi goes to America and see's how Akiko's changed.

((I didnt know where we were going to start so i just picked before the time skip, if this is wrong we can just make it a prolouge or something))
Seto sat at the edge of the bed in Joey's hotel room, completely naked as the blond layed behind him, sprawled out on the bed with a stupid grin on his face. Seto couldnt even look him in the eye right now. The tournament was comming to a close and he had made his decision. He probably gave Joey a false sence of hope just now by sleeping with him and finally letting Joey dominate him this time. But it was just a goodbye, break up sex, whatever. That's why the blond was looking at him with a look Seto couldnt stand right now because it made him feel so guilty. The way his puppy looked at him with no worries now, like he was stupid to ever think Seto would leave him for that woman. But that woman was Seto's only chance at a family and he couldnt let it slip away. Now what was he supposed to say? He got up and started putting on his clothes, not looking at his puppy as he stayed silent.
Sam woke up, hearing a loud knock on the door. Last she remembered she was crying on her bed over Atem. She must have fallen asleep. She rubbed her face clear of tear stains and opened her door, seeing Mokuba there.
"Sam! Your duel starts in like five minutes! What have you been doing?!" he yelled frantically.
Sam gasped and looked at the time. Cursing under her breath, she ran back in and cleaned up, grabbing her deck before running out of the room, past her brother and sprinting out of the hotel and down the street to the stadium, duel disk on her arm. She arrived just as the judge was about to cancel the duel. "I'm here!" She yelled and leaned over, panting from running so fast. She stood up straight and looked across the platform to see none other then Atem, her opponenent in the semi-finals. It had only been a few days ago that this duel meant the world to her and that it was going to be a lot of fun for both of them. But now, now she couldnt even look at him withought feeling her heart ache. But like a Kaiba, she turns that hurt into anger and determination and hides her weaknessess. She glared at him and kept a cold expression on her face. "This is it Atem... I'm not letting you win!" She called over to him, activating her duel disk as the judge yelled for them to begin.
"Joey?! Joey!" Yugi called in the hotel lobby, trying to find his friend so they could hurry over to Atem and Sam's duel. But it was no use. He knew Joey was probably with Seto or something. All of them have been fighting non stop since they arrived. Akiko and Yugi were the only couple left strong. It really hurt him. He loved dueling and expected this tournament to bring them all closer, not break them apart! He tried his best to reason with each of them but it was no use. He didnt want to lose his friends because of all this nonsense. He looked at his girlfriend and gave a weak smile. "Maybe he's already there cheering them on..." He said with much doubt. At least he was confident they would always be together. He wouldnt let anything break them like the others.

[[This is perfect! Great job ^___^ ]]
Joey slept peacefully upon the soft sheets of the king sized bed both he and Seto shared. He didn't even know that Seto wasn't next to him, that he was packing his things and ready to leave. No, the only thing on his mind was the passion they both shared. He felt that Seto trusted him fully, he let him take him tonight. Seto was quiet enough not to disturb this puppies slumber. A slumber which held dreams of him and his kitty together. He really did love him, even though they were arguing like cats and dogs about him and Ishizu. That was the last thing on his mind now. He was sure they were over with and him and Seto were safe.
Ishizu was in her own room, trying to absorb everything that has happened. She was upset about Kaiba practically lying to her and, well, basically cheating on her. But she was strong, she wouldn't let it get to her. There were other men, it wasn't like he was the only one. No, she wouldn't let this drag her down. She was sensible and calm. She stood up and went to begin packing her things.
Time was ticking as Atem stood like a statue in the stadium. He looked concentrated, focused on this duel, but he wasn't. He was a mess inside. What was Sam's problem? What was his problem? He couldn't come to reason when he was being torn between believing he was right and aching over Sam. He was right in the middle. He didn't do anything wrong! And she just, blew up in his face. She can't even be understanding, she can't see that he didn't do anything wrong. And yet, he missed her dreadfully. It was like those days and nights before they pronounced their love for one another- empty, cold, lonely. But now, it was much worse. Along side was anger, hatred even. The things she said to him, she was better off stabbing him in the heart. And all the while, he could not see his wrong doing- the things he said to her, the way she felt. He was blind toward her pain, blinded by his own fury. This struggle he had was not evident. He seemed perfectly fine with the exception that his face no longer held the kindness or peace he had. Finally, Sam entered and he felt like someone just clamped his lungs. He could only glare at her, for when he saw her he remembered what they said to one another. He remembered the pain. He prepared for battle as the judge told them to. "You were better off staying in your room," he said in a cold harsh voice as he drew his cards.
Akiko stood behind Yugi, waiting to hear there friend- hoping to hear him. Whatever he was doing, they were all missing the match. Akiko sighed, feeling as blue as Yugi was. She couldn't get over that Sam and Atem were no longer going out, that that was it for them. And they were fighting so vicously none-the-less! She didn't get it, she knew they loved one another- what happened? She looked out the window, it was so dark and cloudy it didn't help her mood. It didn't help any of their moods. "Cloudy again," she said to herself though out loud. She looked at Yugi with a equally weak smile, "Maybe," she said hoping. Joey and Seto were fighting at one point too. But she guessed they were ok now, being they were together. But they are always complicated. "We should go," she said as she kept hold of his hand. She didn't know what she would do if she wasn't with Yugi- if she was in Sam and Atem's position. She couldn't be mad at him like that. "Do you....." Akiko started to say, though she realized she didn't want to hear the obvious answer, "it's just..... I'm worried about Sam and Atem..... that's all," she added in a mousey voice. They hurried over to the stadium.

((thanks ^.^))
Seto was now fully dressed and staring at his sleeping lover with a torn look on his face, because this was slowly killing him inside. He walked over to the other side of the bed and leaned down, feeling those soft lips against his own one more time. He ran a hand through his hair and left. He left a simple note on the bed, saying that he was going to ask Ishizu to marry him and asking Joey to never interfere in his life again. This is the way it had to be. He left the room quietly and walked down to Ishizu's. He was sure he still smelled of sex and his hair was a mess but at the moment he didnt care, he needed to be with Ishizu right now before he changed his mind and ran back to his pup. He ran his hand through his hair and knocked on her door quietly. He was so absent minded he forgot all about his sister's duel. In fact he didnt even know they had broken up. And even that wouldnt cheer him up right now.
"Why so you'd actually have a chance in this tournament?" She spat back. She couldnt think straight as she stared down at her cards. She made her move, a good move too and waited for his attack. They've dueled each other enough to know all their main strategies but now she was too destracted just by looking at him and feeling her anger boil up. She remembered calling him a lot of things these past few days. She was just so angry, she couldnt handle it. Why couldnt he just understand how she felt? why couldnt he make it easier for her?! She was blind to how she treated him. When she's angry everything becoms about her and she doesnt care about other people's feelings. But she never thought she would get this mad at Atem.
((Should Joey and Sam stay close like before? so Joey can tell Sam when Atem is going to a tournament so she can go and she can tell him whats going on in Seto's life? And then maybe Joey, Yugi and Atem get there own place?))
((I was thinking maybe Sam and Joey should go out again, cause she reminds him of Seto and Sam just needs someone so she can block out her thoughts of Atem? Or should we go with the whole Joey partying thing? I just thought if they did it would keep them around the other since Joey will still be friends with Atem and Sam still lives with her brother))
Yugi turned to akiko and tried to give her a more reassuring smile. "Akiko... I'm sure this will just blow over... you know how much they really care for each other. They just need to clear their heads..." He said with a nod of his head, affirming it to himself. His main focous was too not let it bring them down too. He just wished it was a lot more simple so he could help fix it. When they got to their seats right by the dueling field Yugi sighed, seeing their intense glares. It wasnt that normal challenging look that two competitors who were going to give it their all and have fun. It was a look of pure hatred and aggrivation.

[[Hmmmm, I kinda like both ideas. Because it makes a lot of sense for them to get back together. But Joey is gay, that's the problem. I was going to say that they can be together, but Joey does find other guys. But that would make Sam completely jealous and angry. They should still be very close to one another- like they try to help one another even though Joey says he's fine and plays it off and Sam says she doesn't need help and that she hates Atem. Should they be in a sexual relation though? Like you said, Joey is reminded of Seto when he's sees Sam and Sam needs to be with somebody- so them doing that makes sense. The only thing that snaggs it up is that Joey's gay. Oh, now I'm not sure! @_@ It all sounds good.]]
Ishizu turned her head calmly when she heard a knocking at her door. She honestly didn't know who it would be, and she could no longer see into the future since she gave her millennium item to Yugi. She walked to the door and opened it slowly and calmly, peeking out to see who it was. "Kaiba?" she said just confused. What was he doing at her door? He already made it quite clear that he was never committed to her, and that his interest was in Joey. They argued, not horribly but enough to where she didn't want to see him and she assumed he did not want to see her. She opened the door fully and glared only slightly. "What are you doing here?" she said calmly yet strictly. He didn't seem as proper as he usually was, a bit shaggy really. Like he just woke. He also seemed very torn, though she did not know why.
"No, so you wouldn't embarrass yourself when I defeat you," he spat back feel his stomach turn and his blood boil. It was killing him inside to say such things, but he was still so angry that he wasn't conscous to it. He was angry, he was heartbroken, but all he could focus on was the anger coarsing through his veins. He played his cards and ordered a strong attack against her. He wanted to beat her, as if it would show her who was right. This wasn't a simple match to prove ones skills, this was a war.
Akiko sat down next to Yugi when they reached their seats. They could see them, they could see the rage in thier eyes. She looked at Yugi and hoped in her heart that was right. This was so horribly wrong, she still felt she had just been simply dreaming this. She didn't respond to him, because she couldn't agree even though she wanted to. She rested her head on his shoulder and sighed. She thought about what he said, repeating it over and over in her head. "Maybe this duel will release a lot of their anger, maybe they'll calm down afterwards...." she said with opptimism.
Joey smiled a little in his sleep from feeling Seto's lips and hand through his hair. By the time he actually woke, Seto was long gone. He stretched and yawned. The room was so dimmly lit, it felt like late night still. "Seto?" he called out in a droggy voice. Where is he? Did he leave without him? Geez, he could have woken him up so they could go together. He rubbed his eyes as he sat up. When the blankets moved he heard the crinckling of a paper. He stopped and looked, their was a note on the bed. He grabbed his boxers off of the ground to put them on, he then made his way to the note. Joey grabbed it and started to read. He paused, thinking he misread it. He held the note with both hands and stared at the words, processing them in his mind. "Ha, very funny Seto, you got me," he called out somehow thinking this was a crude joke. He chuckled to himself, but it slowly faded into a look of fear. He looked around and saw that his items where gone. Joey looked at the note again, feeling his heart stop. It was like time stopped in that moment. Joey's eyes held sorrow and hurt. This couldn't be real.
[[Ok, got a better color for Ishizu. PS: I'm dropping the OCD thing with Akiko. It would take too long to explain and get her into character. I'll focus on the other things]]

((ummm i dont know either now. I think just having a sexual relationship plus their friendship would be good, they'll stay close, and Sam wont get too jealous since theyre not in a real relationship I guess. Joey can be with other guys while Sam's away at tournaments. I cant imagine Sam dating anyone else so that makes sense and since Joey is seeing other guys and Sam that can make Atem angry. Should Sam run to Joey after losing the duel? oh and when should we have the time skip? Should we skip to like a few weeks later and that can be when Akiko tells yugi she's moving? and then skip later to the year from then or whatever. ))
Kaiba stepped closer to her, entering the room and pushing her back with his body, closing the door behind him. "Ishizu... I made a mistake. I want you to be with me..." He said, though it was very hard for him to get out. He closed the gap between them and kissed her before she had a chance to respond. He made it a long and sweet kiss. As he pulled away it seemed like he was almost surprised to see her in front of him instead of the blond. They looked so different. "Marry me?" He whispered huskily, needing to just get this over with and get back to domino. He couldnt give himself the option of going back to Joey, he had to marry Ishizu.
((I think we should have Yugi win the tournament, so him and Atem will duel next, Should Joey and Seto duel? or we say they already did when they were fighting?))
"Theres no way I'll lose to the likes of you." Sam said, activating a trap with a victorious smirk on her face. She wanted to beat him so badly. She was forgetting all about how much she loved dueling and it was beginning to be all about winning and power to her. She heard some of Atem's fangirls cheering for him from the first few rows. She looked down. Those were the same damn girls. And he flirted back with them, maybe not intentionally but he did! And he wouldnt apologize! She glared at them and her eye twitched from irritation.
Yugi smiled and nodded. "Right, dueling has always helped us before. I'm sure this will help them work things out.... Its got to..." He finished quietly, watching the duel intesely. He put his arm around her and rubbed her shoulder. He sighed. "I just wish they would have soem fun with this like they used to.

Atem glared at her after she said that. "The likes of me," he hissed lowly with a snare. And who did she think she was? How dare she use that tone with him. He embraced the trap that Sam had set- his monster was destroyed but he wasn't vulnerable. He finished his turn by setting some magic/trap cards face down on the field. He had no monsters, but he did not worry, he knew she would attack blindly and then he would have her. He looked at the girls that were cheering but did not smile or wave. Though he didn't believe they were the cause of this (he really had no idea anymore what started it), he simply did not feel like returning anything to them. He was too concentrated on this duel, he had to beat Sam. His anger was his main focus. He glared back at her and spat, "Go."
Joey plopped on the bed, starring blankly. He felt so horrible inside. Not even anger, just sorrow. He sat there for a long time, trying to reason with Seto's decision. This couldn't be real, that's all he kept telling himself. He slowly got up and put his clothes on. It hurt really bad, it was one thing to break up with him, but he's all ready and set to marry Ishizu? But..... he didn't want to be with her, and Seto is gay! This didn't make any sense! It was like, he suddenly hated him for no reason at all. He crumbled the note up and packed his things, he looked like a zombie the way he moved about. His body and mind were like two- his body doing what he had to while his mind tried to rationalize this. It was strange, he didn't even feel angry, or willing to get him back. He, felt nothing. He was numb. After he was done, he brought his stuff to his room and dropped it off. He then made his way to the stadium. He could never see his love again, this was it. He awoke from a dream that he thought would never end. He was alone, he was numb.
[[I think being numb like he is is one of the worse feelings in lie that you can have.]]
Ishizu gasped when he practically barged into her room. She was even more shocked when he grabbed her and kissed her as so. What was going on? She tried to focus on what he said. So he made a mistake, but he still left her for all that time. She tried to reserve her kiss, but found she slipped and kissed him back slightly. She then pulled away and looked at him. They both looked very confused. "K-Kaiba! What do you mean?" she said in a puzzled yet defending way. "And what of all the things you told me before? You were so gun-ho about Joey and now all of a sudden..." she tried to fight but then stopped. "M-marry?" she said absolutely shocked. In a way, she was very excited- but she couldn't show him that. Instead, she showed the stubborn and puzzled half. "Why?" she asked simply looking up at him.
She nodded her head. She too felt like it just had to. She didn't know why, but she felt Sam and Atem had to be together- like they were meant for each other. She looked over to see a bunch of girls cheering for Atem. She glared at them too- this was their fault!Well, mainly their fault- if only Atem could realize Sam was hurt by these stupid girls, and if Sam could realize it isn't Atem's fault these chick were all over him. She growled a bit, frustated at the situation. But she calmed a little when Yugi rubbed her shoulder.
[[Joey will show up and sit next to Yugi and Akiko next time. Yea, I think it would be really good if Sam ran to Joey- actually, that would be really good. That would spark even more of an arguement between the two- and Joey too! Oh goodness! @_@
Yea, ok- works for me. So Sam and Joey are like friends with benefits/open relationship. Joey could think he's bi, or just thinks of Seto when he's with Sam. Oh, I think Atem would be fuming when he finds out Joey is with her and other guys. I'm thinking that Yugi and Atem will duel next- Joey and Seto could have already dueled. Yea, Yugi should win cause I think Atem will be so unfocused afterwards that his skills aren't up to par. After that (like a short summary of the two of them dueling and Joey and Sam sitting together and such) we can FF to yea... a few days after they come back home and Akiko can give Yugi the bad news. Ishizu could be moving in with Seto. Atem can be pissing and moaning (lol I dunno) and Sam can be with Joey. Oh, should Joey's dad maybe just leave the house and never come back? So that Joey takes over the hosue or something? Or he dies? His dad has to come out of this picture to work (or Joey has to have a place of his own). I hope I didn't miss anything X_x ]]

((lol ok it all sounds good, um I was thinking they'll be older so yugi and Atem should move out of the gameshop and Joey can live with them or just visit a lot, so they call all have a place or individual places or Joey's dad can die and Joey can have his place. I think Sam should still live with Seto so she can talk about Seto and Ishizu))
"I'll make my move when I'm good and ready! Unlike you I actually put some though into my moves instead of just throwing cards on the field like a novice." She growled. She played another monster and tried to attack him directly, ignoring his face down cards. She was getting more and more angry at him as the duel went on. Didnt he love her? And yet here he was looking at her as if he hated her and yelling at her spitefully. Sure she was doing the same. In fact she was probably worse in all of this but in her mind it was all his fault.
((want to end it soon? we'll just pretend it lasted longer?))
((poor Joey...))
Seto was hoping for a better reaction but whatever. "Joey means nothing to me..." He lied and it probably showed. it was hard for him to say such a thing. "You said you could give me a family... so I'm taking you up on your offer." He was a little afraid she would back out of this. He leaned down and kissed down her neck to her exposed shoulder. "I can take you away from your responsibilities in egypt... you can live with me in Japan and have anything you want... anything..." He tried to bribe her.
Atem wasnt a part of him anymore but he felt like he could still empathieze with him quite well and understand how he's feeling. But at the same time he could kind of understand why Sam's mad. He felt jealous when Akiko was with Kaiba and Yugi wasnt even naturally the jealous type and Sam definately was. Yugi could remember hating Kaiba, when before he wanted to be his friend and was always nice and understanding towards him. Then when he was with Akiko he could only think negative things about the CEO.

[[Should Joey live with Yugi and Atem even though him and Sam are close? I'm not too sure. But yea, Yugi and Atem can have there own place- which they can pay for with tournament money or something. Yea- that would be good if Sam stayed there (she has no reason to leave ^ ^) and she would know about Seto and Ishizu's situation.]]
Joey finally made it to the stadium and found his way to the front seats. He plopped next to Yugi, simply staying quiet. He did not greet his friends, nor look at them. It didn't even look like he was watching the duel. Joey just stared out into space. His pale skin only emphasized that something was wrong.
Akiko smiled when she first saw Joey sit down. However, she noticed something was definately wrong with him. "Joey? Hey..." she said catiously.
Joey looked over and forced a smile.
"Are you ok?" she asked.
"Yea, just tired," he lied.
[[yea, I'll wrap this this up and FF a bit]]
Atem growled and fisted his hands. He couldn't even smirk when she fell for his trap. "I guess novice's can't even follow their own advice," he growled as he used his trap card to destroy her monster. This is how the whole match went- both of them destroying one another's monsters while ridiculing one another. It was a blood bath, a war really. And nothing was being resolved, their anger only intensified. And now, it was down to the final move. It was a close match, as close as all their matches together have been, but Atem hand the upper hand. He called out his last move to wipe out all of her life points. And instead of feeling successful in his victory, he felt torn and discusted with himself. He stared at a woman who he thought loved him- it was apparent she did not. And though he was rued by this, he did not show it. He would never show her. Instead, he wanted her to see that she could never bring him down- no matter what.
Akiko looked at Yugi. She didn't say what she thought, but what she thought was that Sam and Atem's duel did not make things better. She could still see such horrid anger swirling in their eyes.
[[oops, forgot about Ishizu XD ]]
Kaiba made this sound like a business deal rather then a proposal. She wanted to tell him no, she didn't want to give him satisfaction. But deep down, she still did love him- or so she thought. She felt bonded to him, she was certain of that. But she was not sure if it was love. He kissed her again, he made her remember the time they spent with one another that night long ago. She'd be lying if she said her attraction to him wasn't sexual. She gasped a little when he kissed her shoulder. She was falling for it, and she disliked the fact she was so easily. And she did want to get away from Egypt- they no longer had to watch the tomb for the Pharoah, there wasn't much she could do there. Nothing that Odeon or anybody else couldn't do. She was free to leave, but had no where to go. So in a sense, she was stuck there. But Kaiba had a way out for her, and she wanted that. "Yes.... but marriage? So soon?" she said feeling a little defiant but falling for him again. She didn't back away this time.

((college? Now? What time is it for you?))
((yeah I dont know if Joey should have his own place or what, if he lived with them then they would see him bringing home guys and leaving to see Sam, but if he had his own place, maybe that sam bought him? they could come visit while Sam's there or something))
((How should Seto feel towards Sam when she is seeing Joey? I was thinking he could completely hate her but I thought I would make them closer after when she hates Atem, like he stopped ignoring her so much and stuff and maybe just ignore everything about joey? like denile? and how should Sam act about Ishizu? Should she like or dislike that Seto and her are together?))
Yugi smiled, seeing Joey approach them and sit down. "Hey Joey!" He said and was about to ask where Kaiba was but he too noticed how strange he was acting. he was being way too quiet for Joey. Normally he would have ran in with a big goofy grin, greeted them cheerfully and then turn to the platform to cheer on his friends. But now, he simply sat down and stayed quiet. Kaiba and him must have gotten into another fight over Ishizu. Kaiba was being stupid and hurting Joey's feelings but Yugi actually thought they would get past this. They lasted a month together, and thats saying something since no one thought they would have lasted two days let alone a month. Plus he didnt think Kaiba was in to Ishizu as much as he was Joey since he could never seem to keep his hands off of him. He turned to Akiko and gave a sorrowful look. Why was everyone fighting? He turned back to the duel and watched as the advantage went back and forth constantly, giving the crowd and amazing duel. Atem won in the end. Yugi cheered of course, glad his Yami had won but he was still upset. It didnt seem like a win for anyone at this point. They both looked miserable and hateful. He frowned and sighed.
Sam tilted her head down so her bangs covered her eyes as her final monster was destroyed and her life points dropped to zero. She clenched her fists and her body shook with rage. There was no more sadness, no more crying, it was all transfered into anger. She turned on her heel and walked off the stage miserably, not looking at Atem. She spotted her friends. Well if they were even friends still. Would they all hate her? Atem was their first after all. Would they choose him over her? She felt so alone. She was hoping at least Seto would have come watched her duel. Well maybe not. He would probably just be ashamed of her. She walked over to them slowly, not knowing what to say or how to act, so she blocked out her emotions like her brother always did.
"It was a great duel guys, you should both be proud..." Yugi tried to lighten the mood around all of them. Between the three of them it felt so tense and awkward.
"Hn, whatever. He got lucky." Sam said snottily. She felt so pathetic, so alone, and so worthless. it was begining to break her. She sat down next to Joey and leaned her head on his shoulder. If she could trust any of them to still care about her it was Joey. Sure yugi and Akiko were still her friends, Akiko being her very best girl friend too, but Yugi was way closer to Atem then her obviously and Akiko would probably side with Yugi if she had to. Plus Joey and her had always been close, thats why they had gone out cause they did care about each other, but they just had a friendship, not love. Sure Sam got kind of mad at Joey for the seto thing and how he talked about Seto when they fought but she still felt close to him. The next duel would be starting soon. She just wanted it all to end and be over with so she could go home.
((i was going to have her like run to him crying but I wanted to make her start acting a bit more like Seto right away I guess so Joey can be reminded. She can break down to him later but now she has to put up a front.))
"Why wait? The engagement can be for as long as you like. But I want you to move in with me as soon as possible." He said, wrapping his arm around her slim waist. He wanted this right? He felt like this was the obvious logical choice. He would be an idiot to pass this up. But it felt so wroing and uncomfortable to kiss and hold her. But he ignored those feelings. He couldnt let emotion start messing up his life now.

[[lol I forget what time I left that day. My class on Tues and Thurs is at 8pm-9:15pm, a night class. Sometime I leave early to be there either 4:30pm or 5pm cause that's when my bf has class and we carpool sometime. He also has the same class with me at 8pm-9:15pm. Hooray for having classes any time of the day XD]]
[[Ooo, I kinda like the idea that Sam buys Joey his own place- that's very Seto-like since he was going to get him his own car. And yes, if they all come over to see Joey, maybe Sam could be there and there can be a fight? Heh, I see any three of them saying "Joey, you do know Atem and Sam hate each other" and Joey just replies "Still?!" lol I dunno.]]
[[Hmmm, I think Seto and Sam can become close when he learns that she and Atem are no more. And then when he finds out about her and Joey being with one another....... huh, I'm not sure. Maybe he's more pissed off at Joey then Sam, but is uneasy around her. Or ignores what she says about him like you said. I'd say Saqm doesn't feel right that Ishizu and Seto are together- however if it wasn't for them getting together, then she wouldn't have Joey or anybody. Perhaps she just doesn't talk to Ishizu? Like she puts up a wall but is some how still polite to her. At least that's what I think. ]]
There were no shaking of hands, no sportsmanship; they just simply walked off of the stage. Sam left before him though, with her head lowered. Atem should have felt proud that he proved his point, but he wasn't. This was the most empty victory he's ever had. But his stubborn mind told him otherwise. He headed toward his friends. He did not question whether or not they would hate him or not. He felt that they would still like him- that they would side with him because he was right.
Joey barely realized that the duel was over, he was off in his own thoughts. He was only snapped out of it when Sam came and sat next to him- placing her head on his shoulder. He looked at her and instantly put his arm around her back loosely. Even though he had not been paying attention to the duel, he knew at that moment that Sam lost. He could feel how sad she was. Two souls in pain could detect one anothers sorrow. He put his arm around her to not only comfort her, but to comfort himself. He couldn't help it, but she reminded him of Seto. And though he tried to stop himself of such thoughts, they were just too overbearing.
And so the duel was over and nothing had changed. Well, nothing changed for the better. They both looked even more pissed at one another. She said along with Yugi to Sam, "Wow! That was a really amazing duel." However, she was a bit put off by Sam's simple reply. She raised an eyebrow, but knew to let it go because she was probably upset. Akiko also noticed that she automatically went to Joey and that she was leaning on him. Well, they were friends, close too. Oh well.
Atem came over and the first thing he saw was Sam leaning her head against Joey's shoulder and Joey's arm around her back. He instantly glared at the two, feeling a mixture of betrayal, anger, possessiveness, and jeaoulsy. He then shot a quick glare at Akiko for the pure fact that she kind of complimented Sam. His head was simply not on right. He was expecting people to compliment him- afterall, he won. He looked at Yugi, the one person he knew would never turn his back on him. He did force a smile, because it was hard for him to smile at anything right now. "The final match is against you and me," he said. Atem felt like he should have been more excited for this then he was in reality. Now that the duel between him and Sam was over, he didn't feel all that motivated for anyother duel. In truth, he just wanted to go back home now. But this was the final match, might as well finish it.
Akiko looked over to see Atem join them. However, she caught his quick glare he shot at her. In fact, she was probably the only person that saw it- Yugi's back was toward him, and Joey and Sam were looking out in the distance. It only took her a few moments to realize why- it was a 'sides' issue. Now that the two are apart, they might fight over who is friends with who. Oh no, no way was she going to be a part of this. She wasn't going to choose 'sides' because both of them were her friends; and she is aloud to be friends with who ever she wants. She heard the loud speakers call out for Yugi and Atem to be ready on the stage no later then 5 minutes. She hugged her boyfriend and said, "Good luck, Yugi." While she hugged him, she shot back a glare at Atem so that nobody else could see. A glare to let him know she wouldn't have anybody glare at her like so for being friends with who ever she wanted to. She wasn't playing this game anymore- not ever again.
Ishizu stayed quiet for a moment or two. She then looked up at Seto, right into his eyes and said, "And Joey is no more?" Ishizu had to be sure that his little love affair was over with. She didn't want to be hurt again. In fact, his idea of her moving in right away was perfect. It garenteed that the same thing wouldn't happen. She wouldn't be left alone again, waiting. But she had to be sure.
[[I'm making Akiko neutral between Sam and Atem. Won't matter in the end cause she moves later in the story. Sorry I haven't been on in a while- I got this crappy cold. I'm finally starting to get better now.
Oh, and yes, I like how you made Sam act instead of crying. Worked very well.]]

((waiting was killing me lol xd but I was dealing with some stuff anyway, I hope you feel better ^^))
((Ok so Sam will buy Joey his place and stuff, it will probably make her feel more secure, like if she keeps buying him things he wont leave her, kinda like how Seto shows his love through buying his siblings and Joey stuff, and I like the fight when they come to visit Joey idea))
(( And with Seto, hes mad about Sam and Joey but cant show it or they'll all realize he still loves Joey so he tries to hide it, sound good? and Sam will be respectfull but avoid Ishizu I guess))
Sam just sat there, arms crossed, blocking everything out at the moment as she just wallowed in selfpity. She felt Joey's arm drape around her and she leaned more into his touch, trying to keep from crying. Her face only showed sorrow. She could tell Joey was feeling just as miserable. She knew Seto was being foolish but she never thought he would actually leave Joey for that woman. She thought everything would be better for them at least, but it didnt seem that way now. She could only think negatively. She snapped out of it when she heard the announcement about the final duel. She realized how pathetic she must seem right now. She needed to at least keep her pride and look dignified, or at least thats what Seto always taught her. She sat up, crossing her arms and legs and looked up at the duel platform with a cold expression, keeping her posture straight. She looked out of the corner of her eye at Joey.
Yugi smiled back at Atem, not noticing the look he had given his girlfriend. "Yeah... I've been looking forward to this duel." He said. "Oh not s-saying I knew you guys would all lose I j-just meant a duel between me and Atem... not the champioships...." he said panickly, trying to make it sound how he meant. He still recieved a harsh glare from Sam before she turned her head away furiously. He sighed and grabbed his deck out of his card holder on his belt and slipped it into his duel disk. He really was looking forward to this duel. But he knew it wouldnt be the duel he wanted. No one's heart was in the game anymore and they were all just tiered and wanted to go home. He smiled when akiko hugged him. "thanks my little fox." He said in her ear with a smile. At least she could always cheer him up. After that he walked onto the duel platform.
Seto nodded. "It was just a meaningless fling..." he stated. He ran his hand through her hair. He loved her hair, it was silky and dark and beautifull, but it was all wrong... He had grown accustomed to Joey's wild blonde hair. Damn he was thinking about him again. He kissed Ishizu, trying to block out his puppy from his mind again. It had to be done. Besides, they were only together for a month. They should both be able to easily get back to their normal lives. he kissed her harder, desperately trying to forget about Joey.

[[lol aw! me sorry! Ugh.... stuff- that doesn't sound fun. Hope it blows over and gets better for you smile ]]
[[This sounds perfect! Oh that works really well. Seto really wouldn't be able to say anything because it would give it away. Perfect. And that's good for Sam cause she has her own problems to worry about too. It's really 50/50 with her- Ishizu did ruin Joey's happiness but brought her and Joey, and her and Seto closer together. I can't wait for the arguement in the house lol epic. I was thinking with Akiko, since she's going to be alone, I'll do a lot of her talking with a therapist or something. They are going to think something is wrong with her because her and Yugi were only going out for like a month. And he tried telling her at one point that it wasn't a big deal- and she says something like 'does nobody believe in a broken heart?' or something like that. Yea, I've been thinking a lout about this too ^___^. So a lot of her stuff is by herself thinking or with a therapist, or other stuff- not sure yet.]]
Akiko felt nervous when Yugi scrambbled his words. Any other situation those choice in words would have been fine, but not now and not hear. Luckily, it didn't set anybody off. She smiled to herself when she heard Yugi thank her. She let him go and watched him leave to the stage. She sat back down and sighed. She wanted Yugi to win- obviously. But now everyone was so on edge or didn't care anymore that it just didn't seem like the duels that everyone was expecting. She looked over at Sam, seeing that she was now stoned faced about this whole situation. Akiko didn't say anything to her- she didn't know what to say. The more she looked at her, the more Sam reminded her of Seto. Seto never really liked her, they weren't even friends. She missed her friend. She looked down a bit and shuffled her feet. She hoped the two of them could relax and apologize soon. She hated seeing both of them like this.
"I knew," he said arrogently feeling the need to take one last shot at Sam. He turned away and walked with Yugi to the stage. He stayed quiet from then on out. He had nothing to say really. He was too wound up about Sam. He still focused on his anger and how he was right. But in the back of his mind, he was upset at what he had done. It was making his stomach turn. However that was only in the back of his mind. He would not realize his pain until it was far too late. [[what a jackass >< ]]
Joey was finally a bit more conscous. He looked at Atem strangly with his last comment. Were they still fighting? At least him and Seto didn't have a fight, it still didn't make it better that he left him so suddenly. Sam then moved away from him to sit up straight. His arm fell limp and away from her. She looked so much like Seto, the way her face was so stoned and her posture. But she wasn't Seto- she was Sam. And though deep down he felt sorry for her- knowing she acted this way because she was hurting, he was actually drawn to her acting as so. "It was that bad for you up there, huh?" he said in a low voice. Even though she wasn't showing it, Joey knew she was hurting. Because that's what Seto did when he was hurt.
Ishizu really couldn't tell if he was telling the truth or not. He sounded extremely sincere, but there was something in his eyes. She couldn't tell exactly what it was, but there was something different in his eyes. But he did sound extremely truthful about the matter. "Then I wanted to move in as soon as we leave this place. I can have my things packed and sent to your house so when we arrive there I can move in. Unless that's a problem with you," she said adding a bit of attitude to the last sentence. She was still a bit sore about him never contacting her for all this time. She wanted to make sure this time that he was for real. And even though she sounded like she was making a business proposal, deep down she did have feelings for him. That's why their fights were so heated- because she was really hurt by his deception.

((I like that idea with the therapist but i was also thinking maybe Akiko and Sam can still talk over the phone or soemthing, akiko can ask about Yugi and stuff, Sam will be a complete b***h of course, acting like she doesnt care and that she's wasting her time but Akiko deals with it cause Sam is her last link to Yugi and Sam keeps talking to her cause she really misses her and how they used to all be friends but wont admit it, just a thought, if it makes any sense sweatdrop and they could have kept talking before she goes to america cause she's trying to help Sam and stuff))
Yugi sweatdropped nervously when Atem responded. he thought for sure Sam was about to just rip Atem's head off. Luckily she just looked like she was about to exploud instead of actually trying to kill the others. He sighed again and looked down at Akiko from the platform. This better not take a toll on their relationship or any of their friendships. He too noticed they were already starting to divide. He switched his gaze to Joey. But Joey was his best friend and he knew he would never give up on their friendship. He smiled a little. When he remembered all the good times they all had he wasnt worried at all. Didnt any of them remember all those good times? Sam and Atem obviously only care about whats happening now. And Joey, well Yugi wasnt really sure what was going through Joey's head right now. He looked towards Atem across from him on the dueling field. "Remember, we promised to give this our all." He said with a smile.
Sam would have punched him if her were close enough. She had already lost control numerous times and yelled terrible things at him. And now, now she was just too tiered of it all, sure she was still fuming but all this only succeeding in making her that more spitefull and cold hearted. She glanced at Joey again. "Of course it was... I lost." She said like not winning that duel ruined her life. "I hate him. I deserve to be up there, not that p***k." She growled spitefully. "So... you and Seto...?" she trailed off figureing he would fill in the rest. She spoke quietly but firmly.
Seto shook his head. "No, thats exactly what I want..." He said but once again it was hard for him to say and he was hesitant. They were acting so unlike a normal happy couple. They were getting what they wanted right? And yet Seto was acting depressed and Ishizu was acting suspicious. And now what? Should they leave now or wait for the others? Should they go watch the final duels? His eyes widened for a second. "I missed my sisters duel..." He muttered. "Damn it..." He said. He grabbed her hand. "Lets go... we can leave after the duels." He said. He assumed Joey was still in his room asleep.
