Roanoke Island is the place to be if you enjoy the nice quiet life on the beach, good weather that never seems to go away, and the small towns throughout the unique island. Plus you can appreciate the delightful history of the "Lost Colony" and who knows, you may be the one to find out where they went.

I thought Roanoke might be the place with that mysterious lost colony.. had no idea it was off the coast of NC so if I ever head out that way - will surely check out the isle. Great description by the way, kind of like reading a travel brochure but with a bit more personality.
