The McCain-Palin rally is coming to my city and my high school band was invited to go play for them. Most of the band parents are extremely democratic. So, even though it's not partisan and we're only going so that we can be seen on national television they don't want the children, who all were so excited to go that they had the instruments shipped to secret service already, so now we can't go because the parents were scared that (and I quote) 'our children would be tainted by that mans demonic words.' WHAT THE ********. If I was old enough to vote I would vote for Obama, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and the school board decides the day before the rally that we can't go. That's bull s**t.

That... is a load of crap.
I mean, people aren't that impressionable. What, do the parents think that their children don't have the ******** independence and will to judge things for themselves? Considering that they're extremely 'democratic' I find it amazing that they'd willingly oppress your rights. Being extreme is never good, whether one is Republican or Democrat. That's ******** bullshit.

If the kids were raised by scary democrats like it sounds like, then no matter what McCain says, they should hate Palin the ideals anyway.

Easy solution.
Step one: show parents the Barack-roll video in the Youtube thread below.
Step two: arrange for the band to play some classic Rick Astley, and inform said parents of this.
