I get AVG crying to me that it's a virus. Now, if you remember, back when RSHD came out, something had happened where now, everytime I opened the client, the User Control thing would ask me if I really wanted to open the program. So... Like... Yea. This message pops up first, but then gets covered by the AVG window. So, then I tried scanning with Norton, which is still on my computer. And that's the message that came with that underneath. Wow, just now I wasn't even doing anything and AVG gave me that first message. But this time the process name listed was one of the svchosts. gonk Alright, I think I'm still sleeping... Cause this is weird s**t. No, I am awake... I woke up at 8pm. Now, I can do a few things. Ignore the ********, and go eat and then wander YT for the rest of the time I'm awake. I mean, I can play RS through the browser, but I rather not. I'm too used to the client. Perhaps tomorrow after I reboot my computer, AVG will realize it was drunk today. I can just tell AVG to ignore it and just use the program anyways. I can Heal it, because maybe for some reason the client did get infected with something... Although, what have I done all week. Nothing but the stuff I normally do. So the chances are, AVG with just delete the client saying that the client itself is a virus. Which means I'll have to redownload it, and then what will happen. I doubt AVG will thing differently about it. And even after all of that s**t with AVG... What about that Windows message in the 2nd screenie. Although, I'm pretty sure that thing is just connected with the User Control thing. I think the only reason why I'm seeing it is because I'm just not getting to the actual message asking my permission to open the program. Anyways, what shall I do. Oh, and don't leave me a message saying AVG sucks and then suggest some other program. Alright? I mean, you can say it, but choose one of the options I listed too, because that's what I really want to know. rolleyes On a side note: ROFL @ the 69969 Gaians currently online. rofl

Just so you know, even Andrew posted. Oh, and i hope it helped.
Trust me air, don't worry about it, and AVG rocks biggrin .
Just ignore it, and use the program. If you examine the source code it has nothing wrong with it.
Also if it does not work then you can always disable AVG while you play. But trust me air, it's not a threat.

Almost as annoying at the User Control being a ******** n00b. mad

Don't worry about that. AVG updated their definition. Which was one of my options, to leave it until the next day for AVG to sort it out. The User Account Control problem has nothing to do with AVG. I think I know how to fix it, but I don't want to mess with it incase it makes it worse. It first showed up after I had to run the client as an admin, because when HD came out, one of the updates wouldn't work unless I was using the admin account. Even though the only account on my computer is the admin account... But, whatever.

Ok, but if you want to disable the user account control than go to control panel>User accounts>Turn user control on or off. That really doesn't mess with anything.
