So it was rather ironic how quickly her and Shezaam had connected after all the hatred the two seamed to have for one another. Though once listening to her daughters side it was more due to them being nearly the same in every way. Shezaam unlike te other pups from her litter seamed to have a mindset like hers, and for the longest time this caused Twist to push her daughter away. Like hell she was going to have anyone have a chance at being alpha in the pack! It was her POWER nobody elses, and she worked too damn hard to get this high up. But even then her daughter was more interested in helping out Twist then hindering her. It was quite clear what Tsunami's motives were, she was evil and bent on power; she quite clearly showed it too much. She was better to fight then too think.
But Shezaam was different then that- she really should have listened to Idogbe in the first place. The two might have connected sooner. So much different that she had finally desided on an Heir if god forbid something happened to her. Which though unlikely it was better to have another wolf with a cool calculating mind to be waiting in the wings, rather then everything falling about with squabbles for power. At least her legacy wouldn't die.
Thats when she turned to her daughter that she had brought with her. "Your going to meet my most powerful and trusted ally today. If anything happens to me you go to her. She'll help you with all the information you need to rule the pack. Without her by my side all this time I probally wouldn't have gotten this far in my life." She smiled with a small bit of warmth and nuzzled her daughter's neck. This was the first time she had felt compassion for something other then herself.

The female was slightly smaller than her mother, not quite reaching the other wolfs stature. But the lineage of Shezaam was obvious, and it always had been. She was the bright orange of her father, with her mothers swirls of blue..Could she be more like both of them?
Her mother had never been a favorite person in the she-wolfs life.. She had never been someone she cared too much about. But when she had finally told her mother exactly what she had thought of her, both she and Twist connected.
She was sure that her mother had noticed the strength and courage in her convictions.. Knowing that a weaker wolf would never have grown the courage to talk to their mother that way..let alone their alpha.
But Shezaam had not cared about her fear..
Now she was here, following in her mothers pawprints, dilligently listenging to everything her mother said, and when Twist nuzzled Shezaam,she nodded.
"I look forward to meeting your trusted ally.."
In fact, she just wanted to meet someone her mother trusted.

She cleansed her ivory paws, her grandmother was out gathering some sort of poison and the two lynxes had come to an agreement, you stay out of my way, I'll stay out of your. Algoma was sitting on top of a rock in the middle of the clearing she most often came to converse with Twist.
Even after all this time the lynx wouldn't call the wolf her friend, but atleast she had stopped calling the only canine ally a dog or mutt. The lynx was sitting their waiting impatiently for Twist to show up, she had asked, not told, but asked for her to meet them here. Who them was Algoma wasn't sure, but some of her murderous mind was interested. Who was Twist bringing with her?
Oh yeah, the new 'heir' to Aqua Azul. The sound of voices found their way into the clearing, and Algoma jumped off the rock and meandered towards them. Breaking into the trees like a white sly fox, the bright coat of the lynx was very misleading as it had been from birth, something she wished wasn't inherited, but maybe the crimson marking of her grandmother would have been nicer.
"Hello," the lynx purred out, as she got closer, this wasn't the purr she used when she hunted, but a different one.

"I see you've been keeping yourself busy. I hope I'm not bothering you." She spread a smirk over her face as she thought about her brother Flare in the cave. She always did like the way that the lynx thought. So gritty, so devious. The perfect one to be an ally with. Again she too wouldn't have used the word 'friend' lightly in this instance; but she trusted the lynx alot more then she would have given any other.
"I'm sure you know my daughter Shezaam." She nodded over to her loosing affection and acting more cooly then before. There was something about Algoma that drew out the worst in her; and even if she found love with her daughter before- she'd never show it near the feline. She then tilted her head towards Shezaam and nodded to Algoma.
"And this is Algoma. Though I'm sure you've heard stories from Rome and Kattana about her. Most of which are true. But the more important thing my dear is that you get 'along'. How ever you work it out." She turned her head to look at her ally sounding as nonchalant as ever. "As for you, I want you to see if my daughter holds up to your standards. I've got plans for her to take my place if something happens to me. But if you can't see the same potiental in her that I did- I may have to reconsider another wolf. I trust you'll put her threw the paces. Lord knows we don't need another tree hugger."
She then turned back to Shezaam, "Though I doubt you'll fail daughter, from the last conversation we had. I just want to make 100% sure your right for the job."

Shezaam had felt now that maybe her mother lacked confidence in her, but truth be told she wasnt willing to get upset over it. Her mother had brought her this far, and seeing as how she had never met Algoma before, she was dfying to make a good first impression.
"Pleasure to meet you,Algoma."
She said with a proud nod, one that matched her mothers proud nod, as the two had similar movements.
"I can do it mother, I am strong."
But she disregarded the tree hugger thing.. Truth be told if she ever did get the pack, things would change drastically.
Butnot so much that her mother woudlnt approve.

Algoma scoffled, "No one can bother me like that worthless poision master still stalking these parts, and mending the holes in a pet of mine." The icey eyes rolled.
At the mention of Shezaam and the nod in the other's direction, the ice chips scaled the daughter up. Wasn't this the daughter that Twist thought wasn't worth even the time? The one that was more like her treehugging father.
The feline listened to her introduction, and couldn't help the coy smile that came to her face at the words Kattana and Rome, those two bigots were still alive. Wow, who would have figured, the old Rome would have taken Twist long ago, but the one that was taken with Kattana was utterly repulsive and deserved any amount of punishment or torture.
The ivory and flower covered lynx listened and did a silent comparision, then it spoke to her.
"Pleasure?" Algoma, had she been anywhere else might have reached out and ripped the tongue out of the polite 'heir' before her.
Then, against her better judgement and will, she purred out, "Yes, pleasure meeting you finally, as well my dear."
The words that came from the other's throat made the little bobbed tail flicker side to side, "Strength is measured in many different means. You might have physical strength, strength to stand up to your mother and her heiarchy, but do you have the strength that is required in the other catagories of a suitable leader?"
Out of respect for Twist, she was holding back alot that was on her sadistic mind. "How are you about administering pain? Are you squimish around blood? Not prey, Shezaam, but wolf blood? Could you take another's life if yours depended on it? Even be it someone you held dear?" The feline's eyes were locked upon the orange colored femme.
"I'm not asking these questions to sound cruel. I'm asking them, because as an alpha you would have to adminster punishment and if someone betrayed you in the highest level...execution."
