Alright well...i've been looking around at guitars and when i thought i finally found the perfect guitar...Alexi Laiho's signature...it wasn't so perfect.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a great metal guitar 800-110 with possibly a tremolo. Something that sounds genuinly metal...a close to alexi's tone. Active pickups as well. (Gibson would not be under this cateagory)

sounds like you need an ibanez xp lol
and i would'nt recomend an esp because the only good ones are really expensive.

what was wrong with the Alexi model ? Which one did you try out ? the cheaper one or the other one ? I have one and its awesome , i had to change the pickup . But . that was all .

I wanted the 600 model but in the end i said screw it because of the floyd rose...i've finally settled with a Jackson PR5 yet i haven't gotten it yet.
