Zikomo had left a rather positive impression of the coalition leader and Aailyah found herself rather smitten with the young male. He had a good attitude and a strong desire for a leadership position. Like Kolo, he was more than dedicated to the coalition and he had only been living within its borders for a few days. At first the male cheetah was surprised that the rumors and stories had been true and that the Duma'Chama was a growing cheetah group where the species all lived amongst one another happily. When he spotted a female group of hunters, the male found himself speechless. How had they overcome their strong independent nature?

As he walked along the pale white female, Zikomo smiled happily, "So, what do you have to show me today?"

Returning the smile, the pale female glanced over only long enough to answer the young male, "Well, it's time you've come to meet Kolo, another member of the pride. You remind me quite a bit of him and if you're desiring a higher position here, he's the one to impress. As of now, he's played the role of head guard and head hunter. I've been thinking that each responsibility is enough for one cheetah, so you'd start off as an apprentice to him and move up from there." Aailyah spoke as she walked though the coalition alongside the male.

Colche lay happily beneath the copse of trees her little family called home. She always favoured the trees, it was easier for her to hunt from their cover, her markings provided her invisability beneath their bows. She let a yawn stretch her maw as she moved in to a more comfortable possition spotting the two cheetah approaching. She let out a soft whistle in greeting. It was the chirrup of a mother calling to her cubs and she used it often these days, she had recently born a litter in to the world and the sound was always soothing to her own ears as well as her cubs.

She smiled and stood from ehr laying possition, she wasn't one to be rude and not greet visitors in to her little area.

When Aailyah heard the quiet chirp from nearby, her ears perked and she turned in time to see Colche smiling happily in their direction. The mother cheetah had used the call in greeting and while the leader was happy to see the other member of the pride, she felt a light pang of pain come near to her heart. She had never used those callings with her own first litter. She had lost them too early on and was never given the opportunity. Folding her ears back lightly at the thought, Aailyah returned as kind a smile as she could.

Zikomo noticed the sudden change in Aailyah's demeaner and cocked his head curiously. He didn't find it his place to ask what had upset her, so he simply approached Colche and took a bow politely. "Good afternoon, My name os Zikomo and I am a new member of the pride. What may I call you?" While Zikomo was an adult, he was young and the manner in which he spoke was both charming and very polite.

Once Zikomo spoke, Aailyah lifted her ears again and followed after. During her busy schedule she hadn't managed to ask Colche how she was doing or how the cubs were! The coalition was so filled with cubs those days!

Colche smiled gently, her soft perfect blue eyes looking over the two cheetahs. She bowed her head softly, before speaking in gentle lilting tones, her voice soft as a morning breeze. "My name is Colche young sir." She puurrs looking at the female whom stood beside him and wrinkling her nose in a pleased manner. "Are you oth enjoying the day? it is a beautiful one to be out in."

Zikomo stood proudly before the beautiful female, glad to be meeting other members of the coalition and presenting himself positively. He was still unused to the atmosphere, but very glad to be there. When Colche offered her name, the male nodded and smiled handsomely, "That is a beautiful name. It is a pleasure to meet you. If you don't mind me asking, what position have you taken on in the coalition?" Zikomo, eager to find his own role, was simply curious.

Aailyah laughed lightly when the male so forwardly asked Colche's position. Making a gesture towards Colche's current form, swollen with milk for her cubs, "Well, currently, Colche is caring for her newest litter. Which speaking of which, I would be glad to meet sometime. I am so happy to see them running around in the coalition. But on the note of positions, I have also been meaning to speak with you, Colche. I believe you have mentioned an interest in keeping records of the coalitions stories and traditions. A sort of historian. I think that would be a very valuable position and i've seen the way you tell stories to your own cubs - I believe you could contribute wonderful things to the group. That is.. If you're interested in that position."

The older cheetahress smiled and chuckled lightly, he was a curious one and handsome and that motherly feeling washed over her as she looked between the two. It seemed like something was brewing, she would keep an eye on it. Stories only came to be by keeping your ear to the ground after all.

Before colche could speak to Aailah though she was interrupted by a dark bundle of fluff which crashed in to her paws rather wildly "Mum!Mum!MUM! I found soemthgn and it's like hyooooooggeeeeee and green! i think it wants to eat me!" He exclaimed looking up wide eyed and eagre at his mother his paws spread apart as far as they could go.

Of course colche only chuckled and groomed his small head cleaning his ears for a long moment. "It won't eat you right now sweetheart, I won't let it." She puurrs looking up at the two older cheetahs calmly "This is Baabar, I'm afraid he has my head for stories, though his are rather more tall tales." She smiles at Aailyah. "I would much enjoy becoming your historian. I know many tales of old from before this place came to be. Stories my mother used to tell me of cheetahs whom no longer exsist. I would be honored to take the possition."

Aailyah was taken by surprise as the dark cub came bounding forward and into his mother's paws. By the marks he wore and his colors, it was clear that he was one of Colche's cubs born from the most recent litter. With a smile, the leader looked fondly towards the two. Colche had certainly made a wonderful mother and Aailyah was glad to have her be a part of the coalition. Many mother cheetahs made wonderful nannies for the other cubs and there were certainly a lot of cubs around recently.

When Baabar mentioned the large green thing, Aailyah thought for a moment that he might be refering to her only son, Chura. Chura had been named after a frog because the cub resembled the small creature quite a bit. Then it occurred to the white cheetah that he might mean an actual frog and this caused her to smile.

At Colche's words, Aailyah smiled and took a short bow. Looking towards the cub, the female addressed him, "It is a pleasure to meet you Baabar! You look so much like both of your parents." Returning her gaze to Colche, she smiled more happily, "I am so glad to hear that. Perhaps your son could apprentice you so that we could ensure all the stories are remembered."

Zikomo laughed when the cub explained the adventure that he had come across. While he had never really interacted with a cheetah cub, he found the cub's antics amusing and knew that he'd enjoy looking after them for short amounts of time if ever needed. As the two spoke, the male looked about, curious about whomever else he might meet. This was looking to be the beginning of a wonderful new life.

Colche lets a gentle bow tilt her head as she nudges her young son happily. "We'll see, though if he is anything like his brothers I'm sure he will find many misadventures to tell stories about." She chuckled and gently nudged the cub with her nose. "Say hello to our Visitors baabar."

The little black cub turned his odd eyed gaze on the two adult cheetahs, he gawped for a moment, as if he only just realised there was someone other than his mother and father in the world that were bigger than him, of course his older siblings didn't count. "You're both vury big." he stated rather simply his mind clearly working overtime to find out why. "Are you two a mummy and daddy? Only mummys and daddies an, an older bruvahs and sistahs are biggerun me!" It was a statement of fact and as these two were not related to him they there for had to be a mummy and daddy. Not his of course his looked different than these two.

Colche lets a hearty laugh roll over her lips and she smiles at the two adults gently. "No baabar, they arn't a mummy and daddy, they are simply older than you my love. When you get older you will get that big too, even if you didnt have other siblings you would get that big. You can't be tiny forever, no matter how cute you are." She purursd kissing his tiny nose happily.

When Baabar spoke and questioned whether Aailyah and Zikomo were a mommy and daddy, the cheetah laughed lightly and nodded. "Well, I am a mommy. My son is a green spotted cheetah named Chura. I can introduce you two if you'd like. Chura would love to make more friends." Aailyah then looked towards Zikomo, finding that she was unable to speak on his behalf. They had only just met a few days prior and the female wasn't certain as to whether or not the male had cubs.

With a blush to his cheeks and quick shake of his head, the male explained to the cub, "No. I'm afraid that i'm not a daddy, but an older brother to a few siblings." Zikomo felt embarassed that the cub had caused his cheeks to redden and looked away awkwardly. Quietly, he asked Aailyah, "We don't want to keep Kolo waiting, right?" Zikomo waited for Aailyah to answer, but began towards the direction they had been following.

Aailyah, almost forgetting about why she had been wandering with Zikomo laughed lightly and then took a polite farewell bow to both Colche and Baabar, "I'm afraid to run off so quickly, but Zikomo is right. We are planning on meeting Kolo so that Zikomo may apprentice him. We should meet again Colche and better discuss your new position." Aailyah smiled and then followed after the male.

Colche nodded "Good luck to you both." She chuckled quietly she had spotted the young males blush and it made her smile. If only the cub at her paws knew the embarressment he had caused. She shrugged and leaned down to scoop baabar in to her jaws and to carry him back to the den. She would question his wandering off another time,s eh would have to keep a closer eye on him.
