The Valley of the End is a legendary battleground which has been marked forever due to the legendary battle between the Shodaime Hokage and the fallen Uchiha Madara. It was through their battle the landscape was molded, and two statues were built there in memory of their battle. It also serves as the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Rice.

Five balls of complete flame bombarded the rocky earth of the valley causing rocks to fly into the air before materializing into the figure known as Uchiha Shirou. There he stood. His arms folded, awaiting his younger brother. The training he would have in store for him would be invigoratingly hard. However that was the entire point. For one to awaken the copy wheel, one had to acknowledge the face of death itself. There he raised his head. Glancing at the great statue of Uchiha Madara. It reminded him of so many past issues the Leaf and the Uchiha had in the books. Still, he had the utmost respect for such a man that would follow his own heart even when his friends turned away from him.

"Uchiha Madara..............."

Saturo appeared several minutes later. It seemed that Saturo had go there fast but, his brother might have been there for a while before Saturo even made it this far. Saturo stood at the top were Madara's head was. As Saturo stood there he looked down to see his ancestor Uchiha Madara. One of the best Uchihas to live in this world his death might have been something that was need for a long time.

"Im here Big Brother so when do we start the training. So what is it that you have thats going to help me gain the Sharingan, big brother. So what do you think Big Brother will think about this training."

Saturo stood there and crossed his arms as he awaited for his brother to see whats going to happen.

"Good Saturo, your speed is increasing. I can see it. Only just moments ago I bodyflickered and you're already here. You surprise me. But then again you are of my blood"

He said broadening a proud smile while twiddling his fingers letting out wire that shined from the daylight. Though they weren't near the statues of the First and Madara, they were still standing on very high ground. Only water and spiky rock formations jutted up from below. The waves constantly drumming away as they crash on to the rocky crevices. If one of them were to fall off of this cliff it would be instant death for the either of them, but this is how Shirou wanted it. With that in mind, he turned back to Saturo.

"Simple, this answer is this." He raised a finger.

But there was no answer. He only used this as a distraction to keep Saturo still focused on the outcome of verbal response. But there was no verbal answer, only the vanishing of his form as he appear alongside Saturo's shoulder with a kick pointing straight for the middle of Saturo's back with a force to push the young one a little over three feet away from his original position.

Saturo was paying attention to Shirou but, then again his movements were faster than Saturo's so Saturo couldn't keep up and he didn't have the Sharingan. This kick was the first of many attacks and Saturo knew this. The kick sent Saturo flying three feet from his original position. Saturo hit the ground hard but, he got up and started standing once again. This time Saturo was trying to make himself ready for his brothers next attack.

"I can see brother that im going to have to try hard if im going to keep up with you in this training."

Saturo stood straight up and placed his right hand on his katana that was strapped on his back. Saturo knew that even with his katana he wasn't a match for his brother's swordsmenship training. Even so Saturo was going to give up and he didn't want his brother to go easy on him. So while Saturo was placing his right hand on katana he put his left hand in his kunai holster and pulled out two kunai. These kunai were going to be the start for Saturo's attack and defense against his brother.

Standing from the distance watching the two, Baki watched the two battle. He had followed Saturo to the Uchiha District and to the Valley of the End knowing full well that Shirou couldn't be too far away. After all the great ANBU captain's younger brothers did stick together a lot more often than he did. Still, perhaps Shirou would let some unique moves that he would be able to counter with his byakugan in a later fight. He'd tied up with Shirou in their last battles. They were 1 and 1, but Baki was going to change that soon. He smirked at the mere thought about it. Though he was clearly hidden behind a rock, his 360 degree angle view allowed him to view the battle. "Interesting."

"Saturo if you're gonna start holding back at this point then you'll get no where in this fight."

He said plainly with a blank expression in response of Saturo's hesitant grip on the katana. He didn't like hesitation, especially coming from his little brother. It was all about sacrifice or absolute decision. Nothing in between in his book.

"Saturo, what's holding you back? Skip the warm ups. This is a real fight. Your enemy will use that hesitation against you. You and I know full well that that kunai won't kill me, but you use them. Come at me with what you believe will kill me. Unless you're going to use those kunai as a diversion, they mean nothing in this fight. You've heard of hardly any jounin dying by kunai. Let me see your all out. It's looking in the face of death that awakens the Sharingan. You must face it now or you'll never gain it."

Shirou's leg was still raised into the air, but bent as he awaited Saturo's next assault. There he stood arcing his leg in and outward above his own head before bringing it down crashing into the ground, sending out a shockwave and cracks through the earth that split open underneath Saturo's feet and across. Each of the cracks were split widely so that they allowed a little over 4cms in width for steam to leak out of them. Shirou's hands geared up into handsigns before locking into a handseal.

"Fire Release: Veil of Flames!"

He said causing a veil of flames to spout from the cracks of the surface, creating a curtain of flames that poured up from underneath his feet and around him where the cracks faulted into the earth. Shirou's hands slipped into his leg pouch before releasing a barrage of kunai into the veil aimed for Saturo, giving him a tactical decision on how he would avoid the flames curtain that poured upward from underneath and the oncoming kunai that were shot into the veil.

Saturo was standing there and watching his brother do his handsigns. Saturo examined them and then watched his brothers movements. As Shirou brought his foot down onto the ground to send cracks threw it Saturo jumped back even though he knew the ground was still cracking he still jumped back and threw both of the kunai that he held in his left hand. He threw those at his older brother Shirou. These Kunai had a wire attached to each of them and were able to move according to what Saturo wanted them to do. As Saturo threw his two kunai at his brother Shirou he finished pulling out his katana and dashed forward towards Shirou. As Saturo was dashing towards Shirou he could see the Veil of Flames heading his way. The Kunai were also in his sight and he could see them coming towards him also.

This was something Saturo had to counter. Saturo already knew what he was going to do inorder to counter the flames and dodge or block the kunai that were sent his way.

"Damn you brother did you have to make it this hard on me. Well oh well Im just going to have to get through this so that I can gain my sharingan one way or another."

As Saturo was dashing forward the veil of flames met him mid way. As this happened Saturo jumped through the flames and placed his katana across his body to block some of the kunai from hitting him. Depending on how many Kunai Shirou sent towards Saturo thats what he had to figure out. On the other hand Saturo had his kunai still heading towards his older brother Shirou the whole time. As Saturo came through the flames he had landed and still kept going towards his brother Shirou. dispite the kunai that had already hit him he was still going in for an attack.

"That's gotta hurt. Let's see. Let's kick things up a notch."

He winced watching Saturo passed straight into the flames to get in melee range. He casually tilted his head to the side letting the kunai fly passed his head. There he would stand awaiting his little brother while performing handsigns of the ox, tiger, dragon, and the serpent and locking them in place. There he stood, the landscape around them now shaping out into an entire new environment. No longer were they in the Valley of the End anymore. The rocky terrain around them had suddenly grew lush with tall grasses and along with large trees that quaked forth from the ground. It had become a forest of vast greenery. Though the place itself was beautiful, all that was about to change. Large centipedes slithering around the treets with flock of birds nesting in the bushes near. All had become set. He shifted the previous handseal into a new seal before slapping his hand into the ground, causing the ground to turn into magma that outwards from the center which was Shirou. If Saturo didn't jump into the nearby trees, he would surely sank into the magma like quicksand. However it wouldn't be actual sinking. It would be the actual melting of his body from the feet on up.

Maddening fires began storming up from the tall grass, as smoke enveloped the area. Even Shirou himself was clouded in the poisonous smoke. The trees around him had already began slowly igniting except for the one tree behind Saturo himself, however the true test would be climbing to it's highest branch while competing with the larger animals for higher spots. Each one fighting knocking each other off without remorse to reach upper branches. Saturo would be just another animal amongst them in their eyes fighting for survival. Soon birds began falling from the air, dropping to the ground one by one like flies. Deer were now scampering away in the distance along with other little creatures. Some of their hides burnt on various areas of the fur while some limping away from sprung limbs caused by sudden change in the environment.

He winced watched Saturo passed straight into the flames to get in melee range. He casually tilted his head to the side letting the kunai fly passed his head. Slowly his eyes closed shut as his mind drift over the planes of focus. In a sense he benefit from this training as well. Although not physically, he was still able to increase his mind's state of focus further. When all was good he reawakened his eyes letting off a small glow of crimson that leaked from the crevices underneath of his eyelids as they crept open, revealing the three toma sharingan. There he would stand awaiting his little brother while performing handsigns of the ox, tiger, dragon, and the serpent and locking them in place. As Shirou was doing all of this Saturo brought his left hand closer to his body. While Saturo was doing this the kunai that had passed Shirou's head turned back and headed straight for the back of Shirou's head. Saturo knew that this attack wasn't going to work when Shirou revealed his Sharingan. All of this was out of Saturo's hands now. Saturo jumped back closer to the tree. As Saturo made it to the tree he started going up the tree. It was like fighting for your life going up this tree. Saturo held his katana in his right hand swing it at the animals that were in his way and brought his left hand forward sending the two kunai from were Shirou was at. The two kunai were now heading up the tree to were the animals were at. Both kuani piercing through each animal that was in it way.

"Damn you brother why did you have to do this."

Saturo continued to make it up the tree. As Saturo was doing this he wasn't paying attention to Shirou. When it was going to be time for him to continue the fight with Shirou. As Saturo made it to the top of the tree he looked down as he stopped. When Saturo started looking down for Shirou his eyes scanned everywhere looking for him. Saturo smiled and placed a grin on his face as he did some handsigns and then locked them into place. Once these handsigns were locked into place Saturo inhaled as he said.

"Fire Release: Fire Ball Jutsu"

As Saturo said that he exhaled sending out a large fireball downwards towards the ground to were the lava was at. This fire ball was also finishing off the trees that were in the of its path. Were Saturo shot his fireball he could feel that his brother Shirou was moving in that direction.

There Shirou standing middle ground where the magma hadn't touched. His arms were folded confidently before they were immediately dropped down to his sides due to the reversed kunai striking him in the back. His hair fell shallow over his face as a trickle of scarlet trailed down the side of his mouth. He would stick his hand out slowly in front of his face as the fireball connected with it causing his entire arm to become seared, letting off burnt streams of gray smoke from his blackened arm. Still he stood motionless.

"No remorse at all I see. Is your life munch more important than they? Does your life hold more meaning than they. What is it that compels you to fight."

He slowly leaned back as his body gave in to gravity from the loss of balance and falling into the orange glowing pool of fire. Slowly the magma would consume his flesh, and finally his bones leaving nothing left but an ashy smoke of what once was. Everything went dark around Saturo. The fallen animals around him began to wail out in pain. Their cries began mimicking each other as they fill the forest with an endless sea of death. The louder their cries became, the darker the area became until it was pitch black. Soon Saturo would find himself drifting in a sea of darkness. There wasn't a tree any more. No animals nor any lush greenery. There hadn't been any from the start. However their cries still wailed out through the sea of darkness. Everything had become black. Soon Saturo would feel tremendous pain and eye watering pressure around his throat. Something binding itself around his throat threatening to suffocate him as a serpent would went squeezing the oxygen out of it's prey. The tighter the squeeze, the more oxygen that was cut off from his brain until the the pain finally fade away just as the darkness would.

"Changing Landscape." A genjutsu that that conjures everything the opponent sees into an artificial reality of what the user wants them to see, hear, and feel in the environment. A powerful technique empowered by the force of Shirou's sharingan. Everything had been a genjutsu. True, the it was fake but this pain and this agony had been very real. The environment had now shifted back into the Valley of the End. Same old valley and the same old statues that watched over it. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks were like music to ones ears whoever had experienced to what Saturo just experienced. The knocking of broken rocks drifting into the waters along with the warm breezes of wind that past by every so often. It would be like paradise to him. However only one thing was different.

Saturo's entire body was hanging off of the highest peak of ground. Uchiha Madara's head. Yes, the great Uchiha statue he was his life was hanging on the balance of. Only one thing held Saturo from his watery doom. The serpent that squeezed itself around his throat was Shirou's right hand that choked and held him above over the edge of the cliff. There his fiery crimson eyes burned their glaze into his little brother's pupils. The more he narrowed his eyes, the tighter he squeezed Saturo's throat as if trying to burn the Sharingan into his eyes with this ambitious glare.

"You know lions throw their cubs off the cliff and raise only the ones that climb back up."

He said without the slightest hint of humor. His mouth was folded, ever so tightening to where even the smallest grin or smile wouldn't creep out. He was as serious as his eyes had shown through Saturo. The reaper of death had now dropped around Saturo's life. It's dreadful claw's tingling and wrapping themselves around his very spirit in wait of the faithful moment.

"Farewell Uchiha Saturo, my little brother."

The faint words drifted into the ears like solemnly just as his hand would drift free of the grip followed by a kick to Saturo's torso that sent him flying into the jaws of open space. Everything around him was open except for the above tainted skies and the below waters that spiked up with rocky formations that awaited their falling Uchiha prey.

The very thought of his brother putting him in a genjutsu cancelled all of his plans Saturo was on the losing side of the battle. This was from the beginning. As hung there by his brothers hand he just looked at him fear of his brother Shirou was consuming his body the grave though of his brother letting him go and sending him into the water and rocks below was something he couldn't help but, to fear. Saturo looked at his brothers eyes such strength came from them Saturo could see it he could see everything yet he was more worried about how he was going to survive.

"Brother.....i.....will......make......you......pay......for........this........"

Being that Saturo couldn't say much he could only get out one word at a time. It was simple Saturo might hate his older brother Shirou after this or he might thank him. Only time will tell for this. As Shirou let Saturo go, Saturo reached out with his left hand to try and grab Shirou but, he was to late Shirou had already kicked him in the torso sending him flying farther away from Shirou. As Saturo fell down towards the water and rocks all he could think about was his life how it might end on this day. Saturo couldn't feel anything at the moment his mind was getting the best of him while his body didn't want to work for him.

"Is this it. Does my life end now. How, Why. This isn't far I never got to learn anything new. I never got to be a true shinobi. I have only just started and look were it lead me. No, it can't be. I have to get past this I have to move on and get stronger I have to survive this."

It was now set in Saturo's head he was going to get stronger. As Saturo continued to fall he placed his hands infront of his face and started doing some handsign. Once Saturo finished doing the handsigns he locked them into place and inhaled and then exhaled and said.

"Fire Release: Fire Ball Jutsu."

As Saturo exhaled he released the fire ball into the water. As the Fire ball hit the water it heated up the water and even made it easier for him to get into the water. As Saturo hit the water he was sent all the way to the bottom of the lake that ran through the fall. In the even on him hitting the water he also broke his right arm in the process by hitting a rock on the way into the water.

"Whoa I see things are getting personal!" He was betwixt by the horrible scenes that just took place before his eyes. Better get out of here quick before I get pulled into the feud." He said letting his guilt take him away and compelling him to jump down the cliff to help the kid. "AH heck it." He hopped the rocks unfortuanately revealing himself to Shirou in the process. It took moments just to get down to the water where Saturo's body had sank from the fall. How could a brother do such a thing? Was the blood between the three this bad or far off worse. Who knows. Baki didn't wanna even get involved less on thinking about it. Though he still couldn't let a kid die before his eyes.

"Kid where you!!?" He said searching the lakes. "Byakugan!" The veins around his eyes suddenly tightened around the sides. Each one swelled up with determination in finding it's target.

His arms still hanging out as if still holding the boy over the cliff returned to his side. He watched as Baki hopped down the cliffs after Saturo. If this had been his limit then he wasn't worthy of wielding the Sharingan and never will be. It would be up to Saturo to climb back atop these cliffs with his own blood hands.....and Baki wasn't about to assist him. Performing a series of handsigns, his chest swelled as he filled his lungs with fire chakra.

"Fire Release: Grand Fireball Jutsu!"

He shot out a large ball of inferno large enough to swallow five people within it's wake as it burned it's path through the rocky formations onto water's surface for Baki. There was no restraint in this battle and the true test wasn't for Saturo to defeat Shirou, but to climb these cliffs returning with the Sharingan.
