So I'm doing the card event at 2AM EST in Windurstand cannot find an Ebisu, my pt allied with another pt (one which was all high lvl JP players, a couple of who were bilingual and all of whom seemed very nice) to find a few more cards and it worked well...for everyone but me. But the other pt had one open spot so they invited me when my pt disbanded and we searched the Canyon...but no luck. They kept me alive through Meriphitaud mountains and Saurumague Champaigne and got me my card (and all their cards too), took me to Jeuno so I could set my hp (i needed to get to Jeuno anyway), and one gave me a clump of the grass for the choco quest...then gave me a free tele back to Mea. They were so nice, even though I could only speak through autotranslate to most of them and was unable to help them out beyond being a body to get them the extra cards they wanted.
These players are a shining example of what everyone, JP or NA or Euro should be -- helping out other players regardless of their background or residence IRL because it's a game...and we're all just trying to have fun, beat the next mob, hit the next level, complete the next mission or quest for amusement and gratification at our skill or cleverness behind the keyboard or PS2 controller.

This is so true. I just don't understand why there's such a feel of despise from NA to JP or vice versa JP to NA. It's just stupid, I mean come on. I can understand if you'd rather not play with JP or NA just because of the language you speak (Auto-translate really doesn't have all the words you need) but just because the person is of another race/ethnicity/country, now come on, that's just stupid! It's just pointless to hold these feelings; we're on the same servers and we're playing the same game, why, why can't we all just get along? Even amongst our own country, some of us still bicker. That's even worse, because it's just an online game. People, have a sense of civilized manner.
