Why: Fun! And... the kitsu compelled us!

Little white and gold body trembled in a happy and silent 'squee' before Aurum bounded forward and carefully gave her mother an energetic hug. "Of course I will! Thanks Mom!" She exclaimed, missing the flit of worry over Liliana's features as she turned to race after her older sister causing her long braid to fly behind her. "Morgaaaaaan! Wait for me!"

Morgan skidded to a halt at Aurum's call, flashing a happy but sheepish grin back at her sister. "Sorry, 'Rum, I got a bit excited." She tilted her head a bit. "Should we get some snacks or something? Just in case? I dunno how long we'll be out." That and Morgan hadn't restocked her personal snack reserves yet since she originally hadn't been planning on going out today. Having coat pockets was handy for things like that.

There was a small hurried flailing as the little sister suddenly and unexpectedly had to put on her breaks, not actually having expecting Morgan to stop. Aurum could not be upset though -she was far, far too exited herself.
Truthfully... this little pause had her near fit to be tied that they were not going already. However, Morgan made sense. Like their mother, Aurum did not eat much though she was better about remembering to do so on her own than Liliana had been. But Starry might get hungry...
That thought settled it for the little alchemist-witch. "Kay. But whatever we can get quick." Which meant apples and probably cookies or brownies or maybe even a new loaf of fresh baked bread. There were always canteens and things in one of the cabinets in the kitchen in easy-fill range for drinks so a couple of those with water and juice would probably be perfect. Spinning to lope gracefully into the kitchen Aurum had a thought and while setting one of the metal canteens to fill in the sink she poked her head into another cabinet and rummaged through it. Endless liked tea. Her tails swayed happily behind her at the thought as she sought a box of what she knew were one of the starry pelted male's favorites and sniffed happily the aroma around the box as she pulled it out of the cupboard. It was a scent she associated with Endless -it was around him so often.
Sheepishly Aurum turned a sheepish grin to her sister around the box, tails still wagging with happy eagerness.

Morgan stuffed a few cookies into a sandwich bag and put them in one of the carry-bags she'd nabbed from the closet on the way here. Then she stuck a couple of apples in and grinned back at Aurum. "This'll be loads of fun."
She filled a second canteen when the first was done and then grabbed a bowl apiece that they could drink out of before giving Aurum a cheerful bump with her nose. Then she headed for the door back to the Place, quite certain that Aurum was right behind her.
It had been quite a while since they'd gone out to do something; their long past trip with Al to go camping probably the last real outing they'd had with the intent of going somewhere simply to have fun. Come to think of it Morgan didn't think she'd ever been to the beach. Not seaside, anyway. The lake was a bit different.
But maybe if things went well... after the weather warmed back up again, the entire little Lupin-Elric clan and Al and Endless could all go to the beach? It would be exciting to see, what with the new siblings they'd have then.

Loads & loads! Aurum wanted to respond to her sister, but she had a box of teabags in her mouth and could only grin, green eyes lighting up and tails wagging enthusiastically. She slipped her head into the canteen's strap to carry it hanging from her neck then rushed off after Morgan. She was so excited, she had to turn around in the hallway between the two houses to shut the magical door behind them.
Springing and flapping her wings Aurum quickly caught up to her sister in her exuberance, wanting very much to get through the other door and on their way.
Apparently, apparating had not dawned on her this time.
Golden swirls moved upon white fur as Aurum grinned as if to say 'let's hurry up!' She felt like a little kit, playful and full of simple joy.

Seeing Aurum so happy put an extra sparkle in Morgan's eye, and she practically pranced up to the door to the Place and nudged it open before all but leaping out. And off to the side, just in case 'Rum decided to make a beeline for Endless. Morgan did not want to risk being tripped over!
"We're baaaack~" the redhead announced, proudly displaying herself and the bag. Endless grinned a bit and put down the buckets he'd had dangling from his mouth. Little buckets and shovels, like for a sandbox. Or a trip to the beach. Leave it to Endless to think of something for the sake of creativity.
The star-furred male turned to give Aurum a hug with a soft, but deep, smile. "Try not to wiggle out of your fur in excitement there, kiddo. Is that tea for me?" His smile widened a bit, if that could be believed. Hanging out with Lil's children, especially the adorably sweet little Aurum, made him happy in a way he'd never really thought possible.

A beeline was precisely what Aurum did make, the instant the door was open and she caught sight of the familiar star-bedecked pelt. Not a full run, but faster than a mere trot. She was grinning around the box of tea in her mouth at Morgan and Endless. Reaching the older male Aurum nodded. "uh-huh!"
Happily she dropped the box in one of the pails End had set down and snuggled into his side, tucking her head beneath his chin and nuzzling the underside with her cheek in a way that would not mess up her hair -a manner the small blonde had perfected to mere habit, not even thinking that she did it anymore. She was still wiggling, but upon contact Aurum appeared to have calmed drastically. "I'll try Starry! Really I will! But I can't help but look forward to how fun it'll be with you and Morgy."
Breathing in his scent Aurum gave a sweet snuggle-hug, her tails avidly swaying. Then it was followed with another, not quite as snuggle-y and a cute almost sideways grin. "That one's from Mom."
Green eyes flicked with happy playfulness to her sister as Aurum picked up the bucket the tea had dropped into, asking if she was going to give End Liliana's hug too.

Endless "oof"ed slightly as Morgan stuck her tongue out in playful reply to Aurum and practically pounced the other side of him to give her version of Lil's hug. In some ways it warmed him, and in others...
He was all right about Lil, now. Finally. The kids had helped with that, really. He should probably go see them more, really... It wasn't losing Lil as more than a friend that bothered him anymore, no... it was rather seeing her and Ed and the kids all together and missing what he'd almost had. His own family.
Not that he wasn't exstatic that Aurum, wonderful, sweet, adorable Aurum, had brought his brother and sister back home. It had given him a great measure of peace to see them, alive and whole, and back with people who cared about them. Even knowing, somehow, what it was Quin hadn't actually told them about how he got Celeste away from their father. It was just... for as happy as they all were to be together again it was dampened by the fact that they were still pretty much strangers. Re-acquainting yourself with your own family was more difficult than he'd have given it credit.
It was his intention today to not think about all that though. He was taking a break with his two favorite "nieces" to go and simply have fun for a while. So he hugged them both back with a soft chuckle and an affectionately exasperated shake of his head. "Well, we better get going! Don't want to waste all the daylight."
Morgan scooped the teabags and buckets into her bag with a wag of her tails and nodded. "Hooray for sand and seawater!" She giggled after that and wound her way happily around her sister and the Starry male. "Where to?"
"Well... there's this one spot I took your mom to back before she and your father settled down... I thought you might like to see it." He still liked to go there and listen to the waves lap at the shore while watching the stars at night. Oddly that spot had never brought him any pain with the remembering.

She gave a short sound of fussing as the bucket with teabags were taken from her... but could not really gripe about it. She could have thought to bring a bag or even one of the spelled bags so she could help too. This way... she could talk, because her mouth wouldn't be filled with holding bucket handles or anything else. So her pout of complaint quickly shifted to a look of gratitude for her sister as she giggled at being wound around. Her head leaned casually on the familiar starry pelt. "Thanks!"
Aurum wanted to waste not a bit of daylight either, but she was in a little less of a rush now than just moments ago. Her ears flicked lightly as she listened to Endless' question. "Sounds perfect." the white and gold femme said with a soft little smile. Her tails wagged more leisurely behind her. "Lead the way, Starry?" Sweet, trusting.

Endless led the way while Morgan walked on the other side of Aurum from him. The little group was tucked rather efficiently close together, seeing how close Aurum liked to be to him and how close Morgan tended to stay to Aurum when they were out in the open. It made Endless shake his head slightly in amusement how protective Morgan could be over her little sister.
After exiting the house and securing the door they headed off. It was a bit of a walk, not that End had ever minded those. He kept an eye on the girls though, to make sure he didn't push them too hard to get there with enough time to horse around for a good long time before they needed to start heading back. That was, if he wanted to get them back before dark. And he probably should.
He still quaked inside whenever he thought of that night that a stranger had brought Lil home so badly injured...
Finally though, they arrived at his little "private cove" and he stopped and stretched his front legs out, digging his toes into the sand with a lighthearted grin. "Here we are. You two like it?"
Morgan practically pranced in place. "It's great!" That was all she really said before she dug into the bag to get the play things out. Ee, this was so awesome!

Warm & feeling safe, Aurum was too happy to speak on the trip there. Her happiness and enthusiasm remained high and her every wagging tails brushed between her sister's and Endless' tails with every just slightly extra bouncy step. She had not traveled this far by foot in quite some time but she was not scared in the slightest. Hard to be... surrounded as she was with kitsu she cared for & trusted. From time to time she would just breathe in and smile happily.
She trained with Zell -when he was home- or her father so though small her little body was quite able to keep up without getting tired. Why she was warned not to be lazy and apparate everywhere. But if she did... then she could have missed such a wonderful stroll! Well... not stroll perhaps. Aurum's excitement was keeping her a little too bouncy on her paws for that. Nothing near the SeeD fistfighter's however, no matter how it might put one in the mind of him even slightly.
Upon arriving at the cove she paused in awe, green eyes growing big as she looked around and drank everything in. It was beautiful. Breathtaking... "Perfect." She murmured reverently, keeping close to Endless. Then she started to come back down -to Earth as it were- and feeling her sister's prance then turning to Endless giggled to see his posture and smile. "It's perfect."
For a moment she just stood there, smiling happily as her tails wagged in a manner different than her kit-like behavior prevalent this day. Still happy, it was more relaxed; calm. Happily awed. Then it was as if she registered Morgan emptying her bag and with a playful grin she crinkled her nose to Endless & licked the underside of his chin just as playfully before giving a quick wiggle-shiver and turning to her sister. Aurum nosed towards the bag like a curious kit though she must have known most if not all of what was inside but somehow it was like everything was new and wonderful. "Where should we start? Want to draw up plans first? Like how big and how many towers and oh! Can we make a courtyard in the center where we can sit? Build it up around us? It won't have to be too big." Referring of course to Morgan & her small size. Maybe she would have to apparate home for a camera afterall? That would have too many parts to transmute without a full manual on one. Cameras she could fix... but Aurum had never tried making one. Yet... well she could describe the scene to Relm and surely one of the artists would be able to recreate it! Especially if Peter helped if she could not explain the cove adequately! Yes!! And the cove was certain to look beautiful as the sun set and night fell. Out here like on Uncle Aear's ship there were no trees to block the stars on the horizon. Would tonight be clear, she wondered. No matter. Night was far from coming still. There was the day at paw to enjoy.

"Plans? Well, if you want to. When I do stuff like this I don't always plan it out first, just sorta... have an idea in my head or just make it up as I go. I only tend to plan stuff out if I'm doing something really important..." Like the picture frame he'd made for Ed and Lil. He should really make something for all the kids sometime... He'd have to think on it.
Morgan tossed a bucket and shovel at Endless with a grin and sat wiggling in place while Aurum picked out her own of the remaining pair. There wasn't any particular difference, but with 'Rum nosing around the bag like an excited kit Morgan didn't really want to interrupt her investigation. Instead she set out to start exploring the nooks and crannies of the nearby area for... well, anything interesting. "I like Rum's idea! The courtyard thing. Should we make a moat and stuff too? And flags! I wonder if we can make flags..." Now lost in her own little thoughts for preparations to make she began looking for sticks and leaves and other such objects that might make good flags, though she and her sister could probably transmute something if they wanted to. Somehow it just seemed right to scrounge up something instead.

"No plans? Okay!" Her triad of tails flicked happily that Morgan agreed with her on the idea for a courtyard and she grinned goofily, certain that meant Endless would go along with it. Even if they were not voting on it the girl could surely convince him out of cuteness. It was not as if they were asking for something dangerous or forbidden or anything. Grabbing a bucket and a shovel -despite that she had been looking her decision seemed to be made without any thought- Aurum pulled it out and grinned at her sister and End. "Wanna sit together first and mark off the courtyard at least and go out from there? We can store all the flags inside while we build too!"
Wagwagwag. Grin hinting that perhaps Aurum had picked up a little of her father's mischief-making streak after all. Or manipulating. Just the slightest and in a good way.

Morgan flicked her ears at Aurum's suggestion that they sit together to make sure the courtyard would be the right size and returned from her stick gathering with a wide grin and a mouth full of twigs. While she was certain Endless could probably mark off the right size of an area without them (he had an uncanny memory for looks and proportions) it still sounded like fun. All part of the experience!
Endless also grinned, and with a bit of a shrug found a good spot to work on a sandcastle and sat, waiting for the girls to join him before he started marking a spot and drew a line around himself in a semi-circle to either side to a point where the girls could continue it around themselves. "Morg, while you're out there, see about finding some decent sized pieces of wood to help mark off where the gate will go so we can get in and out of here. He winked over at Aurum. "That is if we want to make this a big castle."
Morgan wagged her tails and deposited her load of potential flag poles after finishing her part of the line. "Sure! You want me to look for anything, 'Rum?"

Well... sure End could mark it without them, but what was the fun of that? Grinning happily Aurum left her bucket and sat with End and her sister in the 'courtyard.' Then turning her head to watch Endless as he made the boundary nearly toppled herself over with the odd twist she put herself in so she would not move from her seat. Natural grace -hey sometimes she had it!- mixed with training caught her and Aurum giggled with little embarrassment that she had done something so silly. Happily she took her turn with the stick, pausing to look up with a smile to answer Morgan.
A thoughtfulness touched her eyes and Aurum's long braid fell to the side as her head tilted. "Um... maybe seaweed? To line the moat? If you want! It's not really very important!" Grin. But it could be nice. Probably would not keep any water in any better than sand, but it would at least make an easy visual difference.
Finishing her part of the line she left the stick, happily bounding out of the completed circle after a nod of pleasure at the perfection of it to bump her muzzle lightly beneath End's (figuring Morgan is off a bit by this point) before grabbing her pail and padding into the lapping waves to fill it with the water-saturated sand there.
