Ooh, I haven't really heard any rumors but if they did do a movie it would be SO AWESOME. Definitely seeing it if it comes out eh! I think they'd do a great job with it.
I didn't think the last one was so bad, it made enough sense but they just seemed to ignore the whole 'half human' thing as if it never happened... I can understand why people have something against it though.
Maybe it's because it gave too much about him away, and/or his regenerations seem normal, and/or maybe a Time Lord/Human hybrid might not come out right. Also the new series goes against it quite a bit. For one, he's the last Time Lord, not the last half-time lord. When the alternative Doctor grew from the hand, he said he's "Half Human, Half Time Lord", not "Tree quarters Human, one quarter Time Lord".
But I like the idea of another one. Maybe about the Time War? With Paul McGann regenerating. But they did say that you're meant get the full regeneration feeling when it's a doctor you know, not someone who turned up in 2 films before dieing. So maybe it could be a trilogy of films, or something like that?
