IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ THIS: 1. Even if I have a roleplay partner, feel free to PM me to join and I shall roleplay with you as well. I love getting different perspectives. 2. Please do not post in this forum unless you have sent a profile and I have given it the OK. 3. This story is set in another realm, but wait! Don't fret..I've got everything explained below, and if you have a question or think you might want to roleplay but maybe want to change something..feel free to ask/tell me <3

The story takes place in the world of Ioron, in the kingdom of Jarazmar. Think of Jarazmar as medieval times, except more civilized and far cleaner..they've made some better technological advancements though there are no computers or cars and whatnot. Also, the world is filled with magick and creatures that are a part of day to day life, though there are people (just like in the real world) that hate magick and all its affiliations. Think of the setting as being in a large town, no fancy buildings or a lot of glass. These are simpler constructions..if you've seen it, picture Belle's town in Beauty and the Beast, but larger.

P.S. Feel free to take any liberties in this story, both as far as characters and setting. This is a magick world filled with mythical creatures and all sorts of zanyness and odd people, so have fun with it!

~Pre-story~
Razmeylle Saonra Mallekendros, age 26, is perhaps the most powerful wizard to have ever lived. However, he lives the life of a simple magick-user, passing himself off as an eccentric, although charming mage that lives in the woods on the outskirts of the town of Tramer, located in Jarazmar. He never knew his parents personally and was raised by a kindly old witch before she passed several years ago. Everyone refers to him as "the Wizard Raz or Raz the Wizard," as he keeps his real name quiet anyway.

When he was 12 years old, a sorceror named Gregon crossed his path. He tried to convince Razmeylle to stay with him as an apprentice and a lover..but Razmeylle refused and Gregon grew angry. He cursed the other that if he did not seek Gregon out and accept his offer by his 26th birthday, he would become a monster and live out his pathetic life alone. In the meantime, anytime Razmeylle grew to angry, he'd start to shift into monster form, and anytime someone kisses him, he becomes a dog. The former can be fixed by calming down, the latter either wears off or is undone by a potion Razmeylle later invented. The monster form means that his eyes will become black where the white was, and his eyes will turn a blood-red color. He will also grow fangs and claws, and his skin will turn slightly green and black, his hair becoming coarse and made of a grass-like substance. Gregon figured that having such a form would frighten Razmeylle, and anyone who tried to get close to him.

In some ways it worked, since the formerly loner-ish Razmeylle cut himself off from other completely. Now he really only speaks to people if they are potential customers or need his help. And the formely tempermental Razmeylle is now almost unnaturally calm all the time, or at least it seems that way. He is actually just trying not to transform. ~~

X (your character, give him a name) is a foster boy who'd been taken in by a local priest for the God of Light Jereleth. The priest was kind at times, but a religious fanatic who made the boy recite crazy amounts of religious nonsense and preform all sorts of manual labor for the church. He wasn't allowed to play like all the other boys, and in time he grew to hate his life and the "stupid church". One day he decided he'd had enough when one of the church goers whacked him across the face because he wasn't "being pure enough". But having nowhere else to go he wandered awhile before coming across the house in the forest that belonged to Raz the Wizard. X thinks it over and decides that a wizard needs an apprentice, why not him? Despite stories that Raz is a dark magick user who steals souls..he believes the other stories, that he is a traveler from far away and just in hiding for something.

He decides he will demand the apprentice position from Raz whether the man wants an apprentice or not. X is actually a good fellow, though he has a lot of anger over his life and often caused trouble in the village..he won't admit it..but he wants someone to care for him, he always felt bad when kids ran to their parents while he had no one but an old priest who took care of him out of "duty". X knocks on the door and then enters, unsure of what to expect but determined to have his way. ~

~End of Pre-story~

~The story will start with X having walked in the house and shut the door behind him. I shall make the first post and we'll go from there. The story will include falling in love, trying to undo the curse, magickal mishaps and whatever else happens. (this is a basic guideline)~

When X was nine, he fell through the ice in a frozen lake and started to drown. Razmeylle, little more than a teenager at the time, happened along and watched X fall in. Acting quickly, he used a fire spell to melt the ice that was blocking the surface and then dove in after the boy. He dragged X out and held the other boy, warming them both with magick and holding him until he'd calmed down. The boy asked his name after Razmeylle had taken care to walk him home, the other simply smiled and said to call him a friend. The boy was pleased by the statement..since he'd just made his first friend.. ~

~When X sees Razmeylle, despite both of them being older he will definately recognize Razmeylle and say something.~

~Again, feel free to take any liberties <3~

Rules:
1. No cybering, this will have physical scenes but they needn't be graphic.
2. Please be as literate as possible. At least five sentences a post though I'd prefer more. Also, no sentences such as - "x razeylle priest all went to the store cause they needed stuff and x said hello raz how are you"
3. X must be either a seke leaning towards seme, or a full seme. NO UKE! NOOOOO!
4.Have fun!~

Profiles: Yours:
Name:
Age: (Either somewhere between 19-25, or 27-32..depends on if you want X older or younger than Razmeylle, either way is fine.)
Personality: (must be either seke leaning towards seme or full seme.- write one word responses for personality, and remember that X is sort of a trouble-making and angry type..although he is also intelligent and kind to certain people/things)
Biography: Previously stated, though feel free to add anything. Tell me here though if he is able to use magick or not once Raz starts trying to teach him. Also I'd like it if he maybe has a fascination with magick..(it would help with Raz being a wizard and whatnot) <3
Appearance:

Name: Kratos Joshua Faust
Age: 21
Personality: Short-tempered, possessive, loves animals, stubborn, outgoing, highly intelligent, a little devious, interested in everything named taboo by the church, lives by the golden rule (do unto others as they do unto you, and that means he doesn't get along with most of the people around him), sarcastic, straight-forward and blunt.
Biography: Previously stated. Kratos is an illegitimate child whose father is unknown. His mother died early in his life and he was left to the priest. Because he displayed a potential for magick (and possibly becoming a wizard) when he was a child, the priest thought to drive it out of him through physical labour and intense religious training. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out. Kratos's magickal abilities lashed out on their own, causing damage and leading to him having absolutely enough of the stupid church and went to find the wizard that lived nearby.
Appearance: Physically identical to Gregon, the wizard that cursed Raz.

The door opened silently and without so much as a squeak, revealing a dimly lit and slightly shadowed room, cluttered with knicknacks and an odd assortment of items. There was a strange smell in the air, somewhat fruity, somewhat musky and clinging alongside of it seemed to be a thin lavender scent coming from an incense stick in the corner. Lights and other things flitted on and off, made of flames or little glowing spheres, random vials and things were occasionally seen. But the greater bulk of the magickal potions and things were downstairs in the basement. Not that the newcomer would know this.

A man entered, with soft, light brown hair and lightly violet-colored eyes. He seemed not at all afraid to be entering uninvited the home of Raz the Wizard..rumored to be as dark as night itself, and cruel as any demon..though some more or less said that he was simply a traveler, good-humored and a bit odd. Razmeylle preferred them to think the former, though he liked the latter idea better. Cruel and dark he was often not, but the idea helped keep people away and gave him a touch of mysticism.

The man entered and shut the door behind him, making the room even dimmer. That wouldn't do as Razmeylle was curious and he bade the candles in the room to light. Nearly the extent to what he could do at the moment. The candles flickered into life, glowing somewhat of a red color, a personal touch..one that changed frequently. He wondered what the boy was doing in his home..knocking only a few times before allowing himself in..that wasn't very polite..but the man didn't feel aura-wise like the bad sort. At least not until he got a look at the man..the aura was different, but the face..the face was the same. It was the face of the man who'd cursed him to live as a monster, to constantly fear hurting someone..fear losing control..

A growl erupted in the room as a dog emerged from behind some of the items, about medium sized and covered in soft, pale golden fur. The dog walked until it was right in front of the man, and stared with narrowed, deep green eyes..very intelligent eyes. Razmeylle had wanted to know what the man would do when the dog came out..if he tried to hurt him, then Razmeylle would would have sent the man packing with a good whack right then..but if he didn't, he would have at least heard the boy out..but that was before he'd seen that face, Gregon's face, Malgor take him. Malgor being the Ioron God of Vengeance alongside his consort Gelara, the Goddess of Justice and Fairness.

But was it Gregon? This he doubted, there was no way Gregon looked like that..and he was certain the Gregon he remembered had been pudgier, and a bit shorter perhaps. The aura felt different too, very different..perhaps though the lesser mage had gotten the help of a wizard to disguise himself. Either way, Razmeylle would have his answers the moment he was out of this furry form, which would be very soon judging by the tingle starting through his body.

The day had not been going well for Kratos. It had not been going well at all. It started as every other boring, repetitive, tedious, annoying... As every other day before it had. Get up at a time too early for any other sane person in the village (except for that stupid old bas...that old priest) and was ordered to clean up the entire church by said old priest. That just strengthened his belief that the old man wasn’t sane at all. The priest kept barking order at him, telling him he missed a spot, he needed to clean this or that again, did he remember that he had to clean the outside of the church as well. And so on and so forth. But that hadn’t been the thing to ruin everything. The bad part started when one of the church-goers—the woman that hated the cat lady (the only sane person in the village, according to Kratos)—slapped him.

Kratos didn’t know what made the woman even think of slapping him. Maybe she though he had said or did something he shouldn’t have. Or maybe it the way he played with that stray kitten when he ought to be welcoming the people arriving at the church. No... It was probably his being asleep during the priest’s annoying sermon. But Kratos had a good reason for doing that. He was bloody tired from cleaning up the entire place and just wanted to take a nap. Apparently, though, that wasn’t a good reason at all. She hadn’t even let him get a word in either. Just slapped him out of his nap and started ranting about how he wasn’t being pure enough, whatever that meant. Kratos really hadn’t been paying much attention to the words coming out of her mouth.

After the slap and the initial insult, Kratos temper flared and all of the anger he’d ever felt over the years had rushed back to him. He made a real mess of the church. Not physically but he knew that, on some level, it was his fault. The moment his temper snapped, the few windows of the church shattered and all of the other fragile things in the place managed to break as well. While everyone was trying to protect themselves from the debris, Kratos decided that he ought to leave and he did. There wasn’t any point staying in a village were a total of one person (and all her cats) was the only person who really liked him. And he didn’t have much of anything of his own, so it didn’t bother him much not to gather up his things. He could live without his old comb and the book that he was forced to memorize from.

The last thing he remembered of the village was the old priest stumbling out of the church. Undoubtedly to follow him and drag him back there. He didn’t want to go back there. Wandering through the forest, losing himself in there, gave him time enough to think. Kratos didn’t want to go back to the village, but he needed a place to stay. Somewhere safe, somewhere he wouldn’t be forced to leave once he was found again. What was he supposed to do? Wait... Wasn’t there a wizard living nearby...? A mischievous smile curved onto his lips at that thought. It was the perfect place for him to stay too. Completely and utterly hated by the church. He just needed to make sure that things went his way with the wizard and everything would be perfect.

Of course, it would have helped if the wizard was actually at his home when Kratos walked in. The place looked...like fun. He poked at the strange flame, careful not to burn himself, and wondered how it could burn red like that. The growl surprised him though, but the dog that emerged was just...beautiful. Violet eyes were gentle as Kratos crouched down to pet the animal. “Hello there. You wouldn’t happen to know where the Wizard Raz is, do you boy? I wanted to ask something of him. It’s important and I’d really like it if I could talk to him before—”

“KRATOS!”

Eyes closed and Kratos sighed softly, burying his hands in the dog’s fur. “Before that happened...”

(MUWAHAHAH! VICTORY!!!!!!!! <3333333333333333)

The dog tilted his head at the words, deep green eyes watching the man's every movement. He seemed unabashed at talking to himself, a trait with Razmeylle could sympathize with..and moreover, he seemed to have some sort of personal affair he wished to conduct with Razmeylle..but what he was wondering was what the man would do to the dog.

The man crouched on the ground, causing the dog's ears to perk somewhat warily, though mostly curiously as he watched the other. What would bring such a man into his home? The home of the Wizard Raz..and uninvited no less. Was the man brave, or stupid? Razemeylle was looking oddly forward to finding out..

The dog tilted his head at the words, what could he want to speak of? The petting made his tail wag a little bit..petting felt good..more so than he cared to admit. And then a voice called out a name, the man's name presumably. The name..Kratos..hadn't he heard that somewhere before?

That was when the change hit him, and the dog bent his head with a furry, furrowed brow. The fur on it's body started to recede as the limbs elongated and changed shapes, bones melding and shifting. The change always seemed long to him, but it really only took around half a minute. Where the dog had sat, there now stood a man.

Razmeylle took a breath as he straightened, flexing his fingers and twisting his head this way and that before looking to the man. At this level..the man looked even better..with those vivid violet eyes and that lovely light brown hair, a light contrast to his own gleaming golden tresses and deep green eyes. The man also looked familiar..though Razmeylle couldn't for the life of him imagine why..either way, his lips curved into an amused smile as he looked slightly down at the male before him.

His tone was deep and oddly musical, "Well now, what have we here? A stranger in my home..and such a lovely one as well..aren't you worried I'll take your soul? Or keep you as a pet perhaps?" He was amused sounded, and it was easy to tell that he was teasing.

Razmeylle inclined his head with a faint grin, "I am the Wizard Raz and this is my home..You wish to speak to me? so who might you be?"

Razmeylle was struck once again by how familiar the boy looked..he didn't understand..he was certain he would have remembered such a lovely young man..

( Yay! <33333333 )

Kratos had been looking away, trying to see out of the window if the old priest had figured out what he was planning to do. He’d be dead by the time the man dragged him back to the village. The old priest despised magick, hated it whenever Kratos’s control over his emotions snapped and inexplicable things happened. It didn’t seem like the man was waiting outside for him though. Good. It would be very bad if he was being dragged away kicking and screaming by the old priest when the Wizard showed up.

The village would be better off without him too, now that he thought about it. It made him a bit annoyed, to think that no one would miss him. But gods was that place boring. He hoped that the Wizard would accept his proposition. If he didn’t then...well, he would have to find another way around the man’s refusal if it came to that.

Kratos blinked, confused, when he felt the fur under his hands. He was still peeking out the window, wondering if the priest had already come and left. He turned, wondering if the dog was unhappy that he was ignored. But, instead of a dog, there was a man standing there. And exceedingly familiar man. He stared up at the man, blinking in awe at the man. He remembered him. Even though it had been over 10 years, Kratos remembered those eyes and that hair. And who else but a wizard could have melted the ice and warm him after he fell into the lake?

“Would you keep me?” Even though the Wizard’s words were teasing, they offered what Kratos wanted. Somewhere he could stay. Somewhere he would, maybe, be happy? Raz was the only person that had ever offered him friendship. It would be wonderful if he could stay in a place where the people, or person, didn’t hate him. “I wanted to ask you if you would consider taking me on as your apprentice. The people in the village...are not particularly kind...” Violet eyes narrowed at the memory, anger spiking and his own magick affecting the candles around the room because of it. The boy shook his head, banishing those thoughts. He then added, in hopes of reminding the man what he had done all those years ago. “And...you did save me from drowning the lake, and are the only person who ever offered me their friendship...”
PostPosted: Tue Oct 21, 2008 7:18 am

Razmeylle watched as the man blinked, and he chuckled in amusement. That wasn't always the reaction he got, but it was one he was rather fond of. And at the question, his brow rose slightly as he mouthed back the question as if not certain he'd heard right. Because after all, who would want to be kept a 'soul-eating wizard'.

And then the other continued, lovely violet eyes narrowed in..anger? "Sorry. I don't take apprentices." Simple and yet precise, and that would be that. It was probably a joke anyway, some man who'd been goaded into seeking Razmeylle out. But then he mentioned the last bit and Razmeylle's eyes widened and then narrowed as he looked over the man before him..the violet eyes..the light brown hair..the action..Razmeylle's eyes lit a bit as he grinned, "Kratos!"

The only one of two people he'd ever called friend..stepping forward, he wrapped his arms around Kratos, hugging him tightly and in apparent delight, lifting Kratos from the ground and spinning in a tight hug before setting him down, although he continued the hug. "My little friend, I hadn't thought to see you again. It's been over ten years..you've grown up, haven't you?" Razmeylle pulled away just enough to look at Kratos, smiling warmly. It was hard to play the whimsical, frightening wizard to one that he'd always cared for, and it was hard not to care for someone whose life you saved..who offered comfort when needed.

Razmeylle hadn't explained the situation, but it had been only a few weeks after being cursed that he'd saved Kratos..

Kratos sighed at Raz's answer. Okay...so...what now? He wasn't going to give up because the wizard said no to him once. He hadn't gotten kicked out of the other's house just yet. And he really didn't want to try this with a stranger in another village or town. The old man probably had people waiting for him on every road leading out of the village, and tracking in the forest and fields around it. Kratos just needed to convince Raz it would be in both their best interests for Raz to keep him.

Violet eyes blinked when the wizard spoke his name, stepped forward and hugged him. Kratos smiled a little himself, a small and shy thing. He was actually...a little...happy. This was the first time someone (other than the cat lady, but she hugged everyone) had hugged him since his mother, and Kratos barely remembered her. Arms hesitantly reached up and hugged Raz back. The spinning was unexpected though. His hold on Raz tightened up until his feet got back on the ground. The other's words made him feel a little self-conscious though. "Of course I've grown. And I'm not that little anymore Raz."

Kratos had been quite short and small at 9 years. Probably the shortest for his age. Raz, as a 14 year old, had been so much taller than him back then. But puberty came for Kratos and he'd shot up. He was almost taller than Raz now. Raz... Violet eyes turned a little sad and the shy smile faded. Kratos hadn't seen Raz since that day, and he often wondered why. The other said to call him friend, but didn't give his name and then disappeared completely. Had he done something wrong for Raz to leave him alone like that? Kratos sighed, looking down. "Raz...why didn't you tell me who you were? I tried looking for you after that but..." Obviously he hadn't found him until now. "I was really lonely without you..."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 22, 2008 12:31 am

Razmeylle considered Kratos's words in his head. Why would the boy, er..man, want to be his apprentice? He hadn't even known who Razmeylle was until he'd seen him. The fact that he'd saved Kratos though..was that chance..or something more? And now after all of this time, to have his little friend back with him.. it could almost make him forget the terrible reason that the other was hear.

Arms reached to hug him back and he smiled warmly. At the words, he chuckled, "And yet..I think I'll keep calling you my little friend, as you are." Kratos had been a good-looking child, almost cherubic..but now..seeing his older form..it was marvelous..

He was amused by the height difference or lack thereof between them. Before, Razmeylle had been so much taller and now? There was hardly if any difference to note. And then the other's expression became saddened and he frowned, at the words, he grimaced. Razmeylle considered his answer before saying softly, "Tell the child who'd just fallen into an icy river that his savior is a novice, soul-sucking magick user?" He didn't actually suck souls obviously, but for some reason people tended to tie that into the magick.

Razmeylle brought a hand up to brush the hair from Kratos's face softly. "I was trying to protect us both, my little friend..and I worry that I may have failed.." The man was in pain..not exactly on the surface, and yet..something about the man was calling itself out to Razmeylle's attentions.

A small pout played on Kratos’s face when Raz said he would keep calling him little. Not that he really minded. He just got back the only person who had once told him to call him friend. Though it hurt that Raz thought he would be like...well, like the old man that raised him and the villagers that seemed to hate him.

Violet eyes hesitantly looked back up at Raz. He didn’t want the other to think he would have reacted as many others would. “You just said you were a friend. That... That was the first time that anyone had said anything like that to me. I wouldn’t have cared if you were a magick user or not.” It had been the only time that anyone had offered friendship to the strange orphan boy. “I would have thought that maybe you could have explained why things happened when I get...emotional.” Kratos meant angry and hurt, but Raz didn’t need to know that.

Kratos took a deep breath. That he found his friend again wasn’t the reason why he came here. It was to become the wizard’s apprentice. He looked up, tilting his head and still pouting, though it wasn’t as pronounced now. “Raz, why won’t you take me on at an apprentice? I want to know more about magick and—”

He stiffened when someone banged on the door, hard and a little scary. For him at least, since he was sure there were people coming to drag him back to the hateful old man. Wait...was it the old man standing on the other side of the door? Kratos had heard his yell earlier. He hoped that it wasn’t the old man. He wanted to stay with Raz. Was that really too much to ask? For him to be happy, just for a while?

Razmeylle saw a small pout on Kratos's face, but didn't think the other really meant it. Surely the little endearment couldn't be offensive to the other. As the violet eyes went back to him, he tilted his head at the words. "The first, huh?" Well that wasn't surprising if the other was an orphan. At the bit about emotional, his eyes narrowed slightly, "Emotional? What do you mean?"

And then the other asked to be his apprentice again and he nearly groaned. Turning Kratos down was different than turning the others down..this man had been a little boy he'd held tightly in his arms, warming him..soothing him..it wasn't just a joke to Kratos.

At the knock, his gaze swiveled to the door and rested on it with a frown. "Two visitors? My lucky day," he muttered. Glancing to Kratos and then to the door, he nudged the other with his shoulder as he asked quietly, "Is someone looking for you, Krat?"

Kratos was glaring daggers at the door. He didn’t want to go back to the stupid church. He wanted to stay with Raz. Even if it wasn’t as his apprentice. If he could stay with Raz as a friend even, he was sure that it would turn out so much better than his time at the church had been.

And yet...and yet here was the church, with their terrible views on magick and their attempts to stop him from being capable of using it. Kratos tightened his hold on Raz, pressing himself against him in case it was one of those people that would bodily drag him back. This way they wouldn’t be able to take him away from his friend. “I hope not...”

What would happen if he was taken back to the church? He had broken the windows. How would the old man punish him? More manual labour or reading more religious nonsense wouldn’t make any sense. He knew everything about the religion, more than the old man. Maybe he would go further this time. The thought of it made him scared and angry. It wasn’t his fault that he could do these things. Or that he didn’t have any parents. He just wanted someone to care for him. And Raz didn’t really seem to want to take him on... Those thoughts pushed the magick inside Kratos to lash out and the glass within the house started vibrating.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 23, 2008 5:34 pm

Razmeylle took note of the dagger-edged glare that Kratos was giving to the door..he'd never seen such a look on the other. There was much he didn't know about the boy-turned-man. Would he have time to find out..did he want to risk them both by taking Kratos as an apprentice..easing both of their lonelinesses...

The glass began to vibrate and a hum filled Razmeylle's ears, he was rather sensitive to magickal outputs. And glancing to Kratos..he knew who was making the vibrations, "Kratos!" His tone was sharp, an arm moving around the other as he one armedly held the other to his chest, "Shhh..calm down. Let's not break my things, little friend." He pressed his cheek against Kratos's head a moment, before keeping a protective hold on Kratos as he called out with a magickally enhanced voice that sounded gruff and fierce, "Who is it?"

There was a pause and then an outraged, nasaly voice spoke, "I am the Priest of the village Lanthine..I know you are in there wizard b*****d..I seek my property, a boy," and to him, Kratos was just a boy,"Very dangerous..a sinful creature, I'd bet he'd get along with dirt like you. But he belongs to me, if he is in there..then send him out."

Razmeylle's lip twitched and his eyes flashed a moment, but he otherwise gave no indication of anger despite the horrible comments that would have any other wizard whipping out magick in retaliation. Instead, he seemed almost impossibly calm, glancing down to Kratos with a wink, before saying, "Leave little priest. I have had none come my way..I wish for no company..but if you do not leave, I may make an exception. I have heard the souls of priests are especially..tasty." So much for not furthering his reputation..but he wasn't about to let the priest get away with speaking to Kratos like that.

There was a shuffling outside of the door, "Fine, wretch. But I will return if he does not come back to me soon! Wait and see..and then I'll bring this miserable hovel of yours down you witch-son." The priest left.

Razmeylle's lip twitched again, familial insults were not pleasantly received..but he would let it pass, he couldn't afford to be angry. Looking down, he pulled away just a little bit, looking down at Kratos with a soft smile that went to his eyes as his bright green orbs gazed into Kratos's sparkling violet ones, "There now, all gone, little one."

Suddenly being held close stopped every Kratos from being scared or angry. He felt more confused than anything else. He’d seen so many other boys run to their parents and all he had was an evil old man that cared more about having free labour around than really taking care of Kratos. It made Kratos wonder what it would have been like had his mother survived her sickness or if his father had been around (who was his father, anyway?). But he thought that the way Raz hugged him might be like that.

The glass stopped vibrating because of that and Kratos stared up at Raz, much like a child. He tightened his arms around Raz when he heard the old man speaking through the door. It seemed a little like he was getting hurt hearing the things from the old man’s mouth. He knew too well that he was ‘property’ of the church. But he didn’t like at all how the man was treating Raz.

The wizard wasn’t dirt or a b*****d. He wanted the man to stop but he was also afraid of what would happen if he faced against the old man. Now that he thought about it he didn’t want to bother Raz too much. Once the old priest left, Kratos let go of Raz and seemed to collapse in on himself. “I’m sorry Raz...” The violet eyes looked down, away from the smiling eyes. “Maybe I should go back...”

Razmeylle felt arms tighten around him and didn't move to push the man away. He was fine with Kratos being this close..Kratos was an exception..in a way. Thankfully the glass stopped vibrating as the tingle stopped as well..what sort of power source was Kratos, that he was doing that? Or was lack of control the only factor? And perhaps even more important..who..or what were his parents that he had powers at all? One didn't necessarily need magickal parents, but it helped.

The priest left, to his great relief and as he gazed down at Kratos, the other didn't smile. "Sorry?" He was confused and a bit disappointed at the man's actions and as he pulled away. At the words, his lips curved downwards into a bit of a frown, "Go back? With him? That's a jest, right?" He rapped on Kratos's head gently, "Why on Ioron would I let you go back with that sadistic old coot? Besides," he said with false annoyance, mischief glinting openly in his eyes as his lips turned upwards into a bit of a grin, "Surely I didn't scare my apprentice off already."

Razmeylle had decided..this man needed a home, Razmeylle had a duty to the boy whose life he'd saved..and to the man with those wonderful violet eyes that wanted his help for more than selfish gain..one that seemed to care about more than just Razmeylle's magick.
