Fiona sat on the kitchen counter licking the spoon from the brownie batter. She held the wireless phone in the other hand and dialed Alices phone number and listened to it ringing humming along with Cassie to some song on the radio

After the second ring the phone was picked up and a warm female voice greeted the caller.
"Hello, Fenmoore residence, Bellaluna speaking. Who may I ask is calling and who're you calling for?" the Belune asked cheerfully.

Fiona couldnt remember if Alice had told her the last name so she just said
"Yes hello. My name is Fiona, Im calling to talk to Alice. Is she avaliable?"

Bella smiled broadly at that. "Hello! Nice to speak with you - Ali's told me lots about you! Here she is." the Belune bent down and handed the phone to the child who was eagerly bouncing at her sister's heels soon as she realized who seemed to be calling.
"HiHi!" the child squeaked excitedly when she got the phone. She was careful to hold it a little away from herself when she squeaked - she'd nearly blasted Hatty's eardrums out a few times - but soon as she'd calmed a little the child put the phone closer to her ear.

"Really?"
she smiled too and added a quick
"Thanks."
before Bella handed to phone to Alice. she eeped and held the phone away from her ear while Alice squeaked then brought it back and said
"Hey Alice! Its' Fiona, do you think you could come visit today?"
she was still sitting on the counter swinging her feet back and forth

"Um.....lemme ask Daddy, kay?" the child said for a moment before holding the phone away from her a bit and stage whispering to Hatty.
"Dad-dy, can I go see Fiona today?"
The man blinked and smiled brightly at his daughter. "All right. Though, ask if Bella can go with you. She'd be able to take you over and bring you home - plus she probably would want to see some of the animals." the man answered calmly. He was glad his daughter had an activity for the day - he had to go and visit a few friends about something they were planning.
"Kay, Daddy." turning back to the phone, Alice spoke in a more normal tone. "Daddy says its okay but can Bella come too?"

Fona hummed while she waited then, asked,
"Cassie can Mrs. Bella come with Alice too?"
Cassie smiled and nodded
"Sure hunny."
Fiona spoke back into the phone
"Cassies says yes, put Bella on and she will give directions."
She bounced off the counter to hand the phone to Cassie.

Bella was quick at getting and writing down the directions, assuring times and whatnot. Soon enough the teen and the child were waiting cheerfully at Cassie and Fiona's door, awaiting it being opened. Unlike Harriet, the two of them weren't very apprehensive about such things and were both actually very excited - Alice to meet up with her friend again and Bella to see all the wonderful new things.

Fiona could be heard through the soild door yelling over the noise of critters cherping and making other noises at the door
"Get back! Bakc up let me open the dooooor!"
After a little while there was a click of the door unlocking and it swong inward
"Come on in!"
she said brightly eager to introduce them, but she wanted a hug from Alice first

"Hallo there!" Bella greeted cheerfully, waving at the orange haired girl. The child meanwhile bounced over to give Fiona a great big huh.
"HIIIIIII!" she cooed happily as they went inside. "This place is preeeeeeeetty."

Fiona smiled brightly at Bella, then when alice hugged her she lifted the smaller child in the hug and spun her around a few times before setting her down again.
"thanks!"
as the girls hugged all the critters were bounceing around at their feet and Bellas' too.
Fiona pulled them both into the house and into the hall then asked Bella curiousely
"If you dont have a nose can you still taste things?"

"A nose? How does a nose help in that?" the Belune asked curiously, blinking a few times. "My kind are specially built so we can just absorb things, so we don't get much experience with tasting. Do noses really help in that a lot?"
Alice meanwhile was looking in wonder at all of the cute little critters. "Oooooh! I don't know what any of these are but they look cute!" the child said wistfully, longing to reach down and cuddle something.

Fiona stoped and one of the mongesse used this oprotunity to pounce on her landing in her arms. two others were twisting themself saround both bellas and Alices feet. There were little dragons the size of Cassies fist then larger ones the size of a full grown cat. they fluttered around everyones heads. One of the smaller ones landed on Alices sholder and rubbed against her cheek
Fiona replied to Bella while holding the mongosse
"For humans it does yes, the sense of smell and taste are linked, people who cant smell well tend to have a weakened sence of taste."
she smiled proud of herself then said
"YOu can pet them if you like they wont bite."

Bella thought on this for a while. "I shall have to acquire a nose then. I wonder what kind would be nice...." the Belune contemplated on this, her features shifting interestingly as she did. She was forming different kinds of noses - both human and not - to see what she liked while she thought. "I shall have to do more observing of that."
Alice meanwhile was happily petting at the dragon that had landed on her shoulder. "So cute! You've got lots of neat animools here!" the girl's speech was warping a bit again, in her excitement.
