This was all so boring. How sad she was resorting to watching birds, she had been for hours - minutes really, it felt like hours. No butterflies to chase, no Rashidi to tease, no new shiny objects to get herself entrapped in, no big game to chase after even just for a little bit of fun. She hadn't found anything, which was odd for someone who could find fun in just about anything. Perhaps she just wasn't in the mood, or perhaps something else, she was unsure. Maybe it was just one of those lazy days that turned out to be dreadfully boring as well. Owari's eyes closed a little, her tail giving a pathetic swing from where it hung off the side of the branch of her perch. Boring boring.
And more so as one of the little birds flew off. Owari lifted her head and frowned. "Moe ~" whimper and whine.

Sellion was at a fork in the road.
To the left; trees.
To the right; trees.
It was such a hard choice...Sellion bit his lip with a sneer, thinking carefully on which path to take. One could never be took quick in making decisions, oh no. One had to think slowly on such matters...
"Chana..." he whispered, his voice coming out hoarse from disuse. "Which way shall I go, my sister?"
Silence.
Then Sellion grinned. "Yes, yes, of course~!" he said, expression snapping into a white grin as an unknown realization dawned on him. He then went straight. An odd whining sound roused him from his glee and the hairs bristled on his back. "Hellooo?" he called, voice cracking. Then he listened, eyes quirking left and right stupidly for any signs of movement.

Owari blinked as her ears picked up a strange sound from below. A few seconds passed and nothing else followed, she repositioned herself a little better on her branches to allow her violet eyes to dance widely across the ground .. to find out what had called in the strangest of tones. Well, if something had called out, there were so many times when it was just her imagination - or maybe just some tiny ant that had managed to get its voice to be as audible as hers.
Owari frowned, unable to locate anything - odd when she was looking for such a bright colored cheetah. "Hello ~?" She responded, loudly in her childish tone to see if the disembodied voice would respond to give her a better location.

Sellion's ears stood tall at the sound of the voice. His head pointed up in one swift movement and he was able to see a dark-colored leopardess lounging in a tree branch just above him. A black brow tilted down to cover half of Sellion's right eye and he dropped his mouth open stupidly.
Strange that the leopardess had slipped past his EXCELLENT guard so easily...But no matter. He had her in his sight presently. Now...What to do with her? She had been insolent enough to speak directly to HIM without even being called out to. She would have to pay dearly for that.
An evil plan began forming in Sellion's head. He'd jump up to the tree branch and push her out.
IT WAS BRILLIANT.
Without further hesitation, Sellion sprang up from where he stood, aiming for the leopardess.
His back feet slipped on dead leaves and he slammed onto his back. The air was knocked out of his lungs and he made a tiny wheezing sound.

Silence, besides a short stinted pathetic excuse of a breeze and the flapping of wings. Oh and crickets, and perhaps the pittering of some mice scurrying away in mass exodus from the scene that was transpiring. - oh wait, there was something. And something else as leaves suddenly came into view at the corners of her eyes - aha! behind! kinda! - as if something had made a plat fall into them.
"Uwa?" Owari turned her vision best she could to the location but found it out of reach without being uncomfortable. So, she situated herself best she could to see, she swing her body upside down, back legs and claws holding into her in place on the branch. Okay, just as uncomfortable as before, blood rushing to her head and the gold necklace around her neck was now kind of right in her chin and making it hard to breathe. Owari found herself slipping a little, her tail wrapping around the branch as best it could to keep her steady. Oh, this was so not working but she would try damned hard to make it work!
She held on and blinked owlishly at the figure on the ground. "Is bright pink .. thing okay?" Ow, necklace making it hard to talk. Ow.

Sellion turned his head and pressed it against his shoulder where he lay, staring up at the large eyes of the leopardess above him.
"My bones..." he wheezed, air knocked out of him. "Are not broken."
Then he flipped onto his stomach and jumped to his feet. Shaking the dust from his fur, he turned around to gaze up at the dark leopardess. She was hanging from a tree branch in a very strange manner. Sellion had never seen such a thing. He became fascinated with her technique and examined it for many moments in silence, perhaps forgetting that there was another living creature in his presence.
"Interesting, interesting..." Sellion breathed. As his eyes traveled along the twisted body, they ended up meeting the eyes of the leopardess. It took him a moment to realize that he was staring at someone. "WHAT?" he shrieked in surprise. "How dare you sneak up on me?!" he snapped, glaring at her, teeth bared.

"That's good!" Owari chirped, pleased with his lack of injury. That wouldn't be fun for either of them if he was hurt in some way, she wouldn't know what to do with him otherwise .. and he probably wouldn't be entertaining at all. Maybe she would have left him then and sneaked off.... nah, that would have been mean huh? But the whole matter was as gone as it had entered her mind as she slipped a little. A small noise came out of her mouth as she scrambled to regain her hold and barely managed it at that, with her now basically hugging the branch with all her limbs.
And that hold even almost was let go t his outburst. Her own head snapped to attention, still awkwardly looking at him, ring still in no way comfortable, as her purple eyes stared at him still wide. "WHA? Owari did not sneak up on Pink Cheetah! Those are unfair accusations!" The leopardess scrunched her nose in irritation and stuck out her tongue, "If anything Pink Cheetah snuck up on Owari!"

Sellion quirked his eyes confusedly and turned his head away, thoughts flowing rapidly in his mind.
Perhaps...Perhaps he DID sneak up on her. Did he? Didn't he? If he did, he was sure it was for some elaborate, evil scheme...But a scheme of what? For what? What had been his plan for sneaking up on her? He couldn't remember...It was all so odd; so frustrating. But then...Maybe that had been his plan all along?
By now, Sellion had thoroughly confused himself. Confusion was his least-favorite feeling. He gazed up at the leopardess and sneered. Then he swatted at her with his paw in quick, weak-looking failed hits in an attempt to make her fall, somehow coming to the conclusion that he needed revenge against her for something.

What was he... doing? Owari stared intently, puzzled as he internally debated with himself. Her paws separated a little more as she began to make her move to right herself up from the branch, until he swatted her at least.
"Waa!" Owari cried out, it was weak sure but sudden and unexpected, catching her off guard. Thankfully not to the point of falling out of the tree, she had had enough of that really. The female now stared, as always staring, but now confusion all over her face. Still hanging on the branch, perplexed and a little petrified. "Wha.. What was that for Pink Cheetah? Unless Pink cheetah was saving Owari from a bee or something, that was a little odd."

Sellion took a step back and curled his lips, sneering.
"I am not 'PINK CHEETAH'," he spat distastefully. "I am SELLION, soon-to-be ruler of the WORLD!" he shouted, gathering himself up in a regal-looking manner. His tail flicked left and right and Sellion stood still in his regal pose, glancing around in silence for many moments. Then he placed his gaze back on the dark leopardess who was, to his irritated surprise, still hanging from that blasted branch. The cheetah narrowed his pink eyes slowly, observing.
"What are you doing up there...?" he asked carefully.

Wow, he had some plans in his future, didn't he! Owari couldn't help but burst into giggles, clinging more to the branch to keep herself from just falling to the ground. "Ruler of the world... Owari thinks that would take a while," She giggled more over the idea. Ambitious indeed. The leopardess let out a long sigh as she attempted to calm down, relaxing her grip just a little as she still continued to hang upside down - perhaps she was getting used to the blood rushing to her head now. Not like it felt any different from normal really, the ring around her neck wasn't feeling so awkward now too.
"Owari...." Owari blinked at his question, what was she doing? Oh wait, right, "Owari is talking to .. Sellion soon to be ruler of the world, silly. What else would Owari be doing?" Wait, was that his question? Wait, why was she even hanging upside down? Had she been doing something before this? She had forgotten really...
Aa well, she shrugged not moving.

"YESSSS," came the high-pitched shriek. "YOU ARE!" Sellion ran up close to the tree and threw his face as close as he could to the leopardess's. "And you would do well to never forget that!" he snapped quickly. His pink eyes glowed with rage and he took on a different expression. He looked hateful and angry. He shoved himself away from the girl and began to circle the tree she was hanging in.
Sellion circled like a predator circling prey. His head was low and he mumbled to himself as he walked. Circling, circling, many times around the tree. He tossed an angry glare in Owari's general direction and cursed under is breath, claws raking through dirt with each step. After several moments, Sellion jumped away from the dark path he had made around the tree and walked up to Owari.
"I don't like you." the cheetah said darkly, face moving close. "You are insolent. And--" A glimmer of gold jerked Sellion out of his angry thoughts and his expression changed to wonder. His mouth opened in awe. "What is...That...?" he breathed, eyes fixated on the shining golden collar around Owari's neck...

The leopardess' nose twitched, much like hare's, as she blinked down upon the irate cheetah, circling around her like he was going to eat her or something. "Wouldn't it be hard for Owaro to forget that Owari is talking to Sellion the soon to be rular of the world when Owari is still talking to Sellion the soon to be rular of the world?" She has a short attention span yeah, but with someone with such a title it would probably be hard to forget something like that! Though, it was beginning to become a mouthful.
The dark colored feline pushed her lips together in thought as she situated her paws once again, struggling to get herself turned up right on the branch - she wasn't too sure getting down from the tree would be he best of ideas at the moment, a good thought coming to mind? Oh, they happened from time to time. So, she was halfway around and ready to open her mouth again to ask if she would be able to address him as something else [totally missing his statement of loathing and how close he had gotten to her] when his outburst - once again - almost made her fall out of the tree.
"What is what?" She stopped, almost sprawled across the branch, wondering if some weird creature had manifested upon their plane of existence and was now thundering towards them at epic speeds to crush them into tiny pieces. All the while of being in panic mode, twirling her necklace around and making it gleam more. "What is what?" she repeated, eyes a little wide and wondering how he had gotten so close. "Is something going to eat us? I do not want to be eaten? Is it bad?"

"Eat..."? the cheetah echoed, eyes wavering over the leopardess's face. But the glimmer of her sparkling, golden collar sucked him in yet again.
How shiny...
Sellion shook his head violently. It was a trap...A trap! Maybe...Maybe she was a demon? Sellion narrowed his eyes, still staring at the necklace even as he spoke.
"Are you a demon?" he asked lightly, as though trying to hide a hidden motive, though he had none.

It was beginning to seem that nothing was actually coming their way, which allowed the leopardess to relax her death grip on the tree branch she was clinging to. So, now she was able to lounge upon it - thoughts of jumping down to face the cheetah below now long forgotten. It probably wouldn't be a very good idea, what with the way he was addressing and looking at her. Owari frowned, he wasn't even looking her in the eye!
Owari leaned a little forward and then looked up, mouth scrunching as she mulled over his question. "Owari a demon?" Huh, that was a good question, she looked back at him - still noticing his gaze looking at her chest.. what was he looking at? Did she have a bug on her or something? "Could Owari be a demon if Owari is unaware that Owari is a demon? Owari has never really been asked so does not know." The leopardess blinked and lifted a paw, waving it in Sellion's view to get his attention.
"Is Sellion, soon to be ruler of the world a demon?" Perhaps a demon could identify another, but then... why would he ask if she were? "And what is Sellion, soon to be ruler of the world looking at?" Well, perhaps one immediate question could be figured out.
